WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AT A CAR SHOP. They tried to charge me 4700 to fix my 2008 malibu. Fixing things that dont need to be fixed and charging sky high prices. My dad had to go check into it because once we figured them out they then took 4 days to fix it. The guy wouldn t give me a pick up time once we knocked the bill down 2500 which is so unprofessional. Once i got the car back it was doing things and making noises that it didn t do or make before i took it in i would HIGHLY recommend nobody goes to this shop! Terrible service terrible attitude from the staff. DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIXED YOU WILL BE SORRY. ITS A DESERT FOR A REASON BEWARE!

Do not let these nonprofessional people work on your car. My car got worse after taking it to this shop. I tried to work with them every week and still got nowhere. They had my car for three days and still ain't do anything to it. Time waste and money.

I'm extremely scared for anyone to have a repair here. After three months for a 8 hour replacement for timing chain my sister got her car back. Now car is leaking oil 2 days after returning vehicle to her. No one at this establishment has a urgency to replace or repair mistake or even give her a loaner after this major issue. They have been notified 3 times with video and pictures. Not only am I a Google reviewer but worked in insurance industry 30 years and this isn't good.

This has been a worse experience of my life. I brought my car in the last week of July to have my time and change checked because it was making a noise. Nothing else was wrong with my car. I had no leaks no anything they had my car to October. Since I picked my car up the first week of October I have been back eight times because I now have an oil leak in the area that they worked on and they keep trying to tell me nothing is wrong, but keep putting oil in my car. They have me come up at 8 o clock in the morning and they have no mechanic I said for an hour they finally get my car and tell me they put in something you need to check it and have me sit for another hour I would not recommend this place for your bicycle repair.

My biggest gripe with this company was the fact because my vehicle wasn t the most expensive or prettiest it got subject to vandalism and their attitude towards the hundreds of dollars of merchandise that was stolen from my truck was very nonchalant and I don t not appreciate it and I live In the neighborhood and my truck has been in the same condition I took It to them in and has never been stolen out of and I m very aware of my things and not to mention some my belongings were on the ground upon picking up my truck nor did I get a notification of the vandalism. But what I did get was a rush about picking up my truck. When per instruction we will call you when it is done.If you have things of value in a beat up car take it with you.

A few days after I got my car out the shop I noticed that my car was still having the same issues, from loud screeching brakes and rotors to extra weird noises I initially put the car in the shop for. I called the shop and expressed my concern and was quickly put off with an attitude stating that the proper work was done and i had nothing to worry about. A few months down the line and a different shop visit I was told that I needed new brakes, rotors, ball joint, (suspension work) because it clearly wasn t done right and whomever done the job failed to grease the parts properly. After contacting Bronsons and notifying them of this they said that other shops are quick to say those things to get more money out of you and I could bring my car in because it s under warranty but I explained to him I get where that could be the case but Ives contacted them prior to taking it to another shop voicing my concern and was quickly put off and why would I want them to touch my car again if THEY COULDNT GET THE JOB DONE PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME. I get mistakes happen but with the terrible customer service it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth because no one was ever apologetic or showed any type of sympathy.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday at 12pm. I requested service because my heat was not working. (air but no heat). I did not receive my car until Friday at 9am. While I understand there might be different factors into why it took so long or why I received it with the same issues I dropped it off with, Bronsons took the liberty to not only overcharge my parts they replaced, they charged me over double the parts amount for labor. Almost $800 for my heat to still not work. Very disappointed because I was recommended to come here and my experience has been awful. Only writing this review to HOPEFULLY help others to not get scammed.

Took my car up for an Uber vehicle inspection and they discovered some issues with my exhaust. I wasn't excited about having an unexpected repair bill but they were able to work with me and get me taken care of that same day. The front desk guys had good communication with the mechanics and kept me updated and took care of my repair in a reasonable timeframeService: Exhaust

I had my vehicle in at Bronsons for over a week. First they told me it was this $1250 repair that would fix the issue. I paid for this pointless repair and the issue persisted. I paid another $250 as they were certain it would fix the issue. It did not. They blamed me and said the vehicle was out of gas.End result? 7 days in the shop, $1500 worth of repairs and the issue still is not fixed. The very next day after picking up my vehicle from the shop a second time, it still won't start.DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!Service: Engine repair

They have the "appearance" of professionalism but they'll delay doing the job. My 2-hour brake change turned into 30 hours. They weren't going to tell me they were holding my car until I popped up b4 closing.

This business is a straight rip off , I paid for a engine to be put in and a state inspector from Lansing said they never changed it .They tired to put a band aid on the problem so I took them to court and won but now they're trying not to pay me what a shame . You go here and end up with more problems then you started with ...TRUST ME PEOPLE PLZ SUE THEM because they have no business to be OPEN AT ALL ...Taking ppl hard earned money. This needs to stop now They need to BE SHUT DOWN ASAP ..They were wrote up on violations with the state plus they aren't with BBB . MORE VIOLATIONS THIS company and all its locations will be closed.

Great customer service. The manager has a sense of humor... he will tell you an outrageous price at 1st but will be more responsible after he sees the shock on your face. I received same day service and they even took me to work and picked me up for one of the repairs. I would recommend this place again.

Bad business! I went based on their advertising for $50 recharge air conditioning. Got there they provided the service. I go in to pay, guy behind counter asks "did it work?" thought that was weird but I'm like Uhhh yeah. Why wouldn't it?! I left. Air was running cool. The next day I go to use my air and it's warm. Take it back today and they wanted to charge me $125 cause they didn't check for leaks before adding freon to my car. Mind you the guy never gets up from behind the desk to check either. Guess he's the receptionist. POINTLESS! I'm not in the business of wasting my money for nobody! Period! And if I put how I really felt about getting played out my money I don't think Google would post it. So I'm supposed to spend more money with you after you didn't do the job accurately the first time?! Wait on it. DO NOT GO HERE! DON'T DO IT! I'll take my business where they ACTUALLY do work.Service: Air conditioning

Went in for what we thought was a clogged catalytic converter on an 08 Prius. Got approved for $3,000 on snap. They tried charging us $2,800 for a new catalytic converter, mass air flow sensor, spark plugs and tune up .We had a muffler shop take a look for a second opinion. Bronson cut my catalytic converter which did not need to be replaced. They cut my o2 sensor wire causing a check engine light, and cut a wire to cylinder 4 which caused an unnecessary misfire.I ended up only needing a mass airflow sensor ($225) and of course I had to correct the things they messed up on my car. Took them to small claims and won!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Called to get estimate on a service, the options was explained (#1retapping spark plugs hole, #2replace the cylinder head, #3 replace the motor) couldn't be certain without looking. Had my vehicle dropped off by tow truck the same morning. The next day received worse case scenario which I honestly believed was caused by them because it was admitted they tried starting the vehicle which makes no sense because the #6 spark plugs had blown out. I was ok with the estimate so I still decided to let them perform the service since I've went with them before(The Southfield location) and was fond of prior service. Paid a deposit and received a return date which was 4 days later. It's now a week later than that date and I'm unaware of the progress of my vehicle.Update: After 3 weeks I received the call that my vehicle was ready for pick-up and was notified that "they discovered a new issue which was a pin-hole leak in my radiator.(Didn't exist when I dropped it off) After talking to the guy in the office I was being shown the leak by the mechanic. It was obvious that the radiator had experienced a dent because it was bent instead of straight. After showing the guy in the office he said he was unaware he hadn't seen it and he said he'll take care of it. Picked up my vehicle the next day and feeling as if I need to take it to another shop because it's a little hesitant at take off.

Ladies never go there alone. I told them it wasn't driving over thirty five miles and won't go in reverse but they said it was a couple sensors so they said they change them but i only received one old and one new when I picked it up and it was doing the same thing so i took it back, so they said they needed to change more sensors before they can fix the transmission problem so I took my truck and left but they got me out of $550.

Sad to say but we definitely got the short end of the stick. 2014 GMC Terrain needed a new catalytic converter got that job done for $1000 just for us to have to bring it back the next day because the car is louder than ever and the service engine was back on and we were told it was something not reset. The car. Was back to running normal and as soon as the car gets drove again now the rear main seal is pouring oil. I am NOT saying this was the shop s fault. What I am saying is the dealership just made us aware that all the seals should ve been replaced just like Bronsons is saying now for another $1000 which we feel if told that we had $2000-$2500 problem we would have traded the car in and used the $2000 for a down payment on a new vehicle. Mechanics should be held at the same standard any other job is by notifying customers if you get a certain issue fixed with your vehicle it s other parts that need replaced. Before now the service been good getting minor things fixed.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic

I went there for rattling, they told me a had a coolant leak. After they fixed my coolant leak, my car seemed to be getting hotter than it was before.I went back up there with lots of attitude. They were first very patient with me. I appreciate that. They checked all that they could check to find the problem, kept me informed about what they saw, didn't see, and what they could do. And made me feel completely comfortable and confident in them again. I didnt feel like they were jyst after my mkoney because they didnt speak numbers to be at all. They just made sure I left with a better attitude.

They kept my truck a day too long, for a o2 senor and I believe they put a dent in my door. I will not take my vehicle or recommend anyone to go there, motor city mufflers is a better shop!

I will NEVER go to this shop again.This shop will frequently double the cost of parts, and charge an exhorbitant amount for labor.All of these variables would not be that bad if the repair would stand the test of time.I had to have them replace the same hub bearing three times in one month.Once the warranty was up the hub bearing went bad for a fourth time, I took my vehicle to another shop and the bearing has lasted longer than it had behind all the Bronson's repairs combined times 6 so far.
