America s #1 muffler to save the day!! I went in because my car was extremely loud & not only did they fix my car within a few hours on the same day, they completed the job at a really fair price. I m so glad I went to this shop and I will send everyone I know there because of the quality work. Scott was an amazing mechanic AND they ve been in that spot for 20 years, longevity means a lot to me. If you need your car fixed check this father and son duo out you won t regret it!! It s hard to find a good trustworthy mechanic these guys are the real deal!!

I installed Longtube headers on my 2006 dodge charger, and needed help modifying the catted midpipes. Other shops were hesitant to work on it and told me they couldn t do it. My buddy recommended Americas #1, and I called them. Scott helped me, he was very polite and has great communication skills. Scot also did a great job with the work he did to my car. The welds are clean and everything is installed better than what I would have done myself. Thanks Scott! Also the price was pretty fair! Will add photos soon!

Got an estimate for brakes and rotors at Belle Tire and the price was too high. I remembered this place bcz I had been there before years ago. Their pricing was upfront and very reasonable. And they didn't take all day.

I took my 2009 Ford Fusion in for repairs needed to correct a noisy exhaust system and vehicle "wandering" on the road. Was totally impressed with the fast, friendly and professional service I received. The facility is clean and modern, the work was completed same day and the price was very reasonable. Scott is very knowledgeable and communicated with me throughout the entire process. Ten stars for him and this service center. I totally recommend and will rely on them for all future repairs to my vehicles. Thanks again Scott!

I took my 2017 Buick Enclave to Banner Auto Repair on Harper in St Clair Shores. The estimate he had given me to replace the flex pipe was $685.00. I called my son to ask him did he know where I could take it to and he referred me to America Muffler and Brake shop. I went and was given a price of 125.00 by Scott. Scott is the most professional and knowledgeable guy. This is one stand up business and if I ever have any problems I will keep my business right here.Service: Exhaust

To begin, I was referred to this shop and I'm so glad I chose this shop to do the necessary repairs on my car. I own a Fusion that I purchased new in 2010 and Scott/dad replaced my catalytic converter and other parts, and now it sounds better than it has in years!!! The pricing was fair, my car was ready ASAP, and the customer service was the ABSOLUTE BEST, so friendly!!! I will definitely be returning for other repairs that I'll need in the future!!! Great customer service all around. Within an hour of dropping my truck off to have the brakes checked I had a phone call with a thorough inspection report. More than reasonable pricing, and had my repairs completed within just a few hours. I read through the reviews before my visit, and they proved the repeated comments on customer service, pricing, and quick, quality work. Wonderful, consistent business. Took my car up here for needed updated exhaust work, within a couple hours I had a call after an inspection. They worked with me over the phone on how and what needed to be done. I took an exhaust kit back up to them the next week and they had installed in one day. Amazing customer service, fair pricing and quick work. Definitely recommend here for service!Service: Exhaust

These guys are fair priced and super helpful. I came in with a hole in my muffler and they jumped right in letting me know what they needed to do, and even mentioned ways I can save a few bucks. America's #1 Muffler & Brake Service was recommended to me. My exhaust got very, very loud. I brought it in when they opened. They called me with what exactly was wrong & how much it would cost to fix. They called me a few hours later that it was all set and the price was lower than the estimate. They thought the exhaust manifold was cracked and that they could weld it, instead of replacing. Then when they were doing the work they spotted that the crack was only hairline and didn't need to be welded. Saved me $60. They could have easily not done the work, but still charged me for it. But they played it straight and didn't charge me for any work that wasn't done. Then as a bonus, my front lower bumper fascia was pulled off on one end. I went in early Monday morning. We discussed the issue of my vehicle. They told me to leave the keys & they'll call me with an estimate. It seems like in less than an hour we got confirmation of the issue and they could start work. In these times of high prices felt the price was very reasonable. I picked up my vehicle in a couple of hours. Neither the less I'm satisfied with the service & customer service provided.I will go back.Service: Exhaust

Service was great took my car in for loud exhaust, they replaced the exhaust flex pipe and the resonator, and now is quiet as a mouse. The workers were very friendly. I was recommended by a friend and I would recommend anyone to them.

I've recently gone to America's #1 Muffler and Brake for an oil change, front and rear rotors and brake pads, and to have some protective covers that were falling off the underside of my car screwed back on. They repair my car fast and their prices are fair. I can usually drop my car off and have it back in a few hours. Scott has helped me each time and the customer service is phenomenal. I will continue to bring my vehicle here for all future maintenance and couldn't recommend them more. 10/10!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Great service. I never do reviews but they were very helpful. You just go here. My brakes are perfect and also got my tie rods done. This place values customer service and will work with you and tell you exactly what need to be done. Above and beyond in my opinion. Don t hesitate. This is the right choice

Scott and his team over at America s #1 are top notch. I have been there before for brake problems and they took great care of me. I recently had a catalytic converter stolen from my car and Americas #1 had my exhaust system completely fixed the day that i dropped the car off!! Unbeatable prices and unbeatable customer service!
