Does not open at the time that is displayed online and on their door. Called the store they said they would open the doors- 20 minutes later they are still not open. Poor customer service.

This place has great customer service. . The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful and will go the extra mile to find the part you're looking for or to see who has it. Love this store...

The service there is better than most in the Detroit area, but they never have their online ordering situation together. I have ordered online several times and went there, with them not having a clue as to what I was taking about. They're getting better, but still have a long way to go.

Tried to purchase socket set after 8am before work, store hours start at 7:30, knocked to man inside. Nothing, could not be bothered. This why is easier to just order online

So happy this place is here!! They re always quick to give great advice and options on how things can or will go with your given situation. YouTube wasn t giving me my answers and they don t make my model car anymore so the internet was not helping. So I went to my number 1 go to store when I need some real help with my car!Thanks againAsk for Jason!!

I was over a friend's house in the area, and I need a electrical connector for a battery and I was able to go right in find what I needed and complete what I was doing for them, the staff was friendly

It was awesome, i don't know the young man's name but he was extremely helpful, he installed my wiper blades, and my left turn signal light bulb. Even though it was tougher than what he thought, he stuck with it and got it together. Great job and Thank You.

I like advance auto parts.. Also give veterans a 10% discount. If a item is not available. They will order it.. Usually within 24 hours. The part will be in the store for pickup. Must pay in advance.. Usually friendly service..

Got a coupon from PayPal for 25% off for purchasing online from Advanced Auto Parts. Okay sure, I'll bite. Selected the Grand River and Greenfield store (closest to me) and made my purchase.When I arrive, I call for curbside service, and no one even answers the phone! Okay, fine, I'll go inside. Sign on the door says basically no mask no service. I have a mask, so I'm fine with that. Well, there's a man in there with no mask. Not only that, the cashiers and security guard joke with him about it! Alright, I figure I won't be in here long because I ORDERED AHEAD OF TIME ONLINE...NOPE! My items weren't even pulled from the shelves (so much for "ready in 30 minutes"; I made two stops before coming here).I usually shop Auto Zone for these things, but again, PayPal sent me an offer. No thanks, I'll stick with Auto Zone.

Friendly and nice, waited for two minutes. Got what I need. Found out the part I both was what I didn't need. I returned my purchases and my refund was on my card the same day.

Hubby ordered online to pick up in the store. Mr. Miller was management that day in Sept 2019. The order was wrong service was terrible. We need to value customer service. People don't understand who they may be servicing. Just terrible and we wonder why we choose sometimes the suburbs for better service!!! We need positive feedback..but not store # 8937. Hubby went back on sep 7 still wrong and rude!!! Won't be back.will try to get to the CEO myself..I do follow up... The manager Mr Miller..told the worker to handle his situation sooo mad..Mr Miller needs to be repremended..let go fired!! That's not customer service.. maybe Orielly's may be better..word of mouth is key. You never know what day a customer is having. Bad management

I called ahead to make sure they had a part that i couldn't find online. The lady was patient enough to find it on the store computer and went to the warehouse to guarantee that it was in stock. She and the gentleman that was there when I arrived was very professional. Sorry I didn't get any names.

I called in advance to verify the correct part and availability of it before i made the tripi was cut short when i tried to explain what i neededwas told i was wrong about the name of the partI took the correctionwent to the storeSurprise it was the wrong part i did have the correct name and i made a trip for nothingthe sales rep did apologize and said he had learned a valuable lesson about cutting people off and he would listen better (im sure this happened because im a women due to his tone a verbiage)but i accepted the apology and his alternative suggestions (which also turned out to be wrong) oh well you live and sometimes you learn

Called and had attendant pull my parts ahead of time. When I arrived, a different attendant named Jerrill assisted me. I told him that I had called ahead and his response was " I don't know nothing about that". At that point, the attendant who I talked to on the phone chimed in and told him that the parts were sitting on the table behind him. By Jerrill's attitude, it was evident that he didn't want to be there.

Bought parts on-line. Didn't get email confirmation. Went into the store no one knew anything of my order & did not really want to find out what went wrong. To complete this project I needed to go to 2 different stores and you guessed it, the same exact thing happened at store #2#1 Greenfield/Joy Rd#2 Grand River/GreenfieldPlease stay away from these 2 stores at all costs.Auto Zone you might want to consider buying the Old O'Rileys build across the street.

I lost my receipt and because the cashier didn't ask me for my number they would not exchange my parts. I didn't even want my money back I just wanted to exchange something I'm unsatisfied customer and the people was rude not great customer service bad customer service.

well I bought a tire inflator in February had to replace it two times for defections remind you there's no refund first time I used it it kept blowing the fuse in the car a worker named Chuck was so nasty to me about the situation they gave me another tire inflator second time I had a problem with the tire inflator Chuck must not have been there that day another worker think he was a manager new took care of it with no problem but I had to go to the store two times because they ordered the tire inflator and it never showed up next time went in the store to pick up the tire inflator Chuck was there with that same old bad attitude I got past it but while I was waiting on the process to get the tire inflator an elderly lady came into the store and ask Chuck 4 battery pack jumper this is why I know it's Chucks nature to act the way he act he did not try to figure out what the lady was saying so he started quizzing the lady being smart mouth until I got him to understand what the lady was saying and to add insult to injury after he found out what the lady needed he pulled the battery pack Chargers up on the computer have battery packs ranging from $70 to $200 he made another smart comment to the lady about what she needed and I said to him that she might want to buy them most expensive one the story has but to make the story shorter the lady bought the most expensive is one we need good customer service PS Chuck was the name that was on his shirt store on Grand River and Greenfield

Unprofessional and rude customer serviceI called to make sure they had the car part,they told me on phone they do,after driving a long distance and came in to purchase the car part they told me they don't carry the item and its never sold in their store,after talking to them and telling them I called to make sure its here they refused and said they never got anyone that called and asked for it.In the end they ordered the item for me from online and gave me the wrong copy of receipt,which is the store copy..

Prices are too high they cannot compete with AutoZone or O'Reilly's they need to bring their prices down and have more stock they want other parts too much and they still cost too much I would never advise no one to stop at Advance Auto I would imagine I would advise them to shop at AutoZone or O'Reilly's Advance Auto is very expensive too much for the parts

I met ED VANCE AND HE DIRECTED ME TO THE LINE WHERE THEY SELL THEIR OIL AND I NEEDED A BATTERY SO HE GOT ME ALL CONFUSED I BOUGHT THE OIL NOW I CANNOT AFFORD MY BATTERY AND I AM BROKE DOWN IN FRONT OF THE STORE THANKS ED

LARRY IS BY FAR THE MOST RUDEST PERSON THAT WORKS IN THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS HE TALKS TO CUSTOMERS ANY KIND OF WAY AND THEN LAUGH WITH CUSTOMERS AND COWORKERS ABOUT HIS WRONG DOINGS AS IF THEY WERE RIGHT TO DO AND CLEARLY ITS NOT A LAUGHING MATTER AND HE DEFINITELY IS NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR THIS STORE OR OTHER LOCATIONS IF HE IS GOING TO REPRESENT ADVANCE AUTO PARTS I REALLY THINK YOU GUYS MADE A POOR DECISION ON THAT PART HE REALLY BRINGS THE BUSINESS DOWN..... I bought parts online drove 35 minutes to the store and they were closed 10 minutes before closing.
