The wait time is definitely not what I expected. Most of the people who work there are nice and like to keep you informed, but all around service is dull, but they get the job done. No extra service was asked for other than an oil change. I had inquired about windshield wipers and I was ignored. So I had got them from another company. If you just need an oil change, this is the place for you.

I had a wonderful experience here. These guys was on it. They looked at my van and made suggestions on which oil I should get. My vehicle hadn t had an oil change in forever it may seem. My van was overheating. The meter read H it kept beeping but they got me together. Location on S. Telegraph in Dearborn. They are very affordable, friendly and professional. I will definitely be going back there from now on. And they gave me a recommendation sheet of all services I would need in the future.

This is what Cicel did today because he was mad that there were too many cars in line. Not only was he cussing up a storm in front of kids while throwing tools around like a 5 year old having a tantrum, but he deliberately poured oil all over my engine. He started yelling and looking at all the cars in line while pouring oil into my car without a funnel just pouring it everywhere but the whole.

I took my 2022 ford f150 here for an oil change on Saturday drove home parked my truck and left a few hours later to go to the gas station. When I got to the gas station I had a low oil pressure alert on my dash so I put it in reverse to go back home and when the reverse camera came on I seen all of my oil all over the ground and as I drive back home I noticed a trail of oil from the gas station to my driveway where there was a huge puddle of oil which I am still trying to get the stain off of my driveway. I called Valvoline the next morning and they came to my house and realized they did not put the cap on the oil pan so they went and bought one and did my oil change in my driveway. I would not recommend taking your car to this location

I came in for a simple rear bulb replacement, something that no one at the store seemed to be able to do despite charging us for the service. The manager threw a temper tantrum and refused to speak with my husband when he returned to address the issue, claiming he gave us a free bulb and it must be electrical. It s fine that he doesn t have the skills to do it or the temperament to be a manager, but we won t return and would recommend anyone avoid this shop at all costs!!

Great customer service, very fast service and they make excellent recommendations with no pressure. Changed my windshield wipers for me. Installation was speedy and they cared for my car. I highly recommend this location in Dearborn they have a great crew of guys eager to please and earn your business!

I just got an oil change here. Really overpriced. I paid $76.99 on Groupon for (5) Full Synthetic quarts and anything after that would be 20% off. After buying my own oil filter because Valvoline didn t have it, I still paid $30 in addition to the $76.99. Valvoline made it seem like they were doing me a favor by subtracting this from the initial $100+ amount even though I paid for the Groupon . and lastly, none of my other fluids (like wiper fluid) were checked to be topped off, when they usually are. Definitely save your money and go elsewhere.

Awful experience! Be cautious if taking your vehicle here!I went in for a simple oil change, shortly after getting into the work, they reccommend a transmission flush based off of manufacture intervals. I politely declined the service because this was just completed less than a year ago.When I was cleared to leave the bay, I started my vehicle and they immediately had me shut it off because it was spraying fluid everywhere. They informed me that this was due to the oil filter stating that someone left the old seal on so it could not propperly seal. They (corrected) the issue, as soon as I started to leave my transmission started to have troubles.After further diagnosis, I discovered that bolts were removed causing the transmission fluid to leak out leaving it bone dry.Service: Oil change

Great Service and I love Car People. They treated me and my Corvette like Royalty. They didn't have my air filter in stock but they told me they would install it for free once i got it....AWESOME !

This place will overcharge you more than the coupon or Groupon prices. Don't trust this place at all, they won't even fill up something as simple as washer fluid. You'd think with such high costs that would at least be included.... Clearly this place doesn't care about customers. As if this is the only place that sells oil for you to treat customers this way.... First and last time for sure

As a former Valvoline employee, this place failed. Did NOT check the VA until I asked the window CSR. No recommendations, no cabin air filter check, didn t show oil before or after service. Invoice #93424 2/24/24 12:02pm

I came here about 455 today and the lazy employees had already closed when they didn t close until five and all I wanted was air in my tires. This place has really gone downhill. Customer service really isn t the thing anymore. It s really sad.

Each time I change my oil, I prefer to go to Valvoline. They give terrific and quick service with a smile. They are very detailed and makes sure that everything it functional. They always explain what is needed on my car, rather wipers or filters. I replaced the oil and cabin filter which I never knew I had. The air flow is much better thanks to the staff. I will continue to go back because of the service and professionalism of the staff.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I was in quickly and easily, and they were so helpful. I took my car to the dealership last time because of an engine issue and recall, and had some issues, so I came back to Valvoline. I was in and out very quickly, and the technicians explained everything to me. I also liked their communication with each other in the shop, which seemed to keep things running smoothly.

I went there a few times for my Toyota Rav-4 car. Last time, when they tried to put in the engine air filter, they couldn't do it correctly. They called Jamal, the manager, and he forced it in. The next day, while I was driving on the highway, I got an alert saying that the car's system wasn't working and that there was a problem with the pre-collision system. It wasn't fun, especially while traveling. I pulled over and turned the car off and on, but the same thing happened. I checked the brakes and luckily they were working. I found a nearby Toyota dealer and when they checked, they asked me where I got an oil change. I told them I went to Valvoline because it's a trusted place and they have certified technicians. Fortunately, they were able to repair it, but I had to pay $350 because they damaged the engine filter tube. avoid Visiting Valvoline you can make app with your car dealer for oil change which i realized after that happen they are cheaper than Valvoline.

They should watch their employee , there is a guy called chadi , he is not suppose to talk with people , rude ,impolite and he start cussing .With this guy , waiting for almost 90 mns to change oil as a bulk oil not by opening jugs and paying almost $85.this place deserve less than 1 star.Worst experience!If there is a managment they suppose to take an action for that !

I been going to the telegraph and Dearborn location for some time and I noticed that the coolant was very low and needed to get looked at. The place opens at 8 and it was probably around 8:15 or so I was the only vehicle there. I waited for someone to guide me in, but the two workers basically ignored me, until an other vehicle came and the one worker came out and explained to him that they were waiting for the manager and he never acknowledged me, his name was Jamal, I felt so disrespected SMH! For that I will not be giving this location any future business. When one customer is over look for whatever reason.Service: Oil change

I had the most terrible experience I think Ive ever had at any oil change at this location, yesterday 7/14/22. I am a 30 year old female and I am used to going to these places where people expect to get one over on me. But, absolutely not to this extent. Minus the sad attempt to charge me on about $800 worth of services, i was completely scammed. I had received an oil change at home from a family member 2 weeks ago. The younger technician, Juan realized right away after checking my oil & let me know. Mistakenly, I remembered that in fact my father had changed it (He s a mechanic). We conversed about it, the mileage, etc. The young man Juan then went over assisting other vehicles and 2-3 other techs worked on my car in the meantime. They did all the other checks that come free of charge at any oil change. It was then that Edward, an older gentleman approached me demanding I pay the $50 for an oil change I didn t even receive! I asked him and told him several times that I did not need or get the oil change & the tech Juan kept telling him NS . Which I m smart enough to know means No Service. Edward still took it upon himself to still charge me the $50 for an oil change. I was at a complete loss because I couldn t believe they were cheating me right in front of my eyes. Edward could tell I was visibly upset, then went to get my invoice . He returned only to tell me there printer was not working and they would email it to me. However, he gave me a printed copy of his $800 worth of recommendations instead! But, your printers not working? He also said there mileage sticker printer was not working as well, so he would not be able to provide me with one. Needless, to say it was reported and if you do go get your car serviced at this location beware. I realize turnover rate is high but hire better employees. Will never be returning.Service: Oil change

Great location very responsive. Check Groupon they usually have Valvoline oil change deals also their website has coupons. It's expensive but it's worth it to keep your car running better, longer.I've been to none name brand places and they're always trying to convince people to spend $100s or the car will die instantly which is why I just go to reputable places now, no hassle and better quality.

Best oil change and I believe that's all there good for valvoline website says they recharge freon for vehicles asked management to quote me for the service he replied we don't do that here

Absolutely amazing experience every time I am here! Workers are knowledge and don t try to upsell or pressure you into purchasing extra services. Very well priced for the quality service, efficient and quick to get everything done but at the same time still attentive to small, fine details.

Terrance, Robert and Lucas were phenomenal and provided exceptional service during my visit today. They re always professional, timely and courteous. Every time I ve had my car serviced, they ve been cheerful and extremely kind.
