I made an appointment for a complimentary oil change and tire rotation. Very easy to schedule. When I arrived I was greeted by Lamont Howard who explained all options I had in addition to the scheduled service. He was extremely courteous and helpful. Lamont escorted me to the waiting area and offered me coffee or water. The waiting area was clean and spacious and I could view my vehicle being serviced. Never been able to do that until now. Very nice to be able see the mechanic working on your car as you wait.

If I could do 0 stars I would. It takes over 3 months for them to fix the front end of my vehicle from a rock. Jan 20 is when I dropped it off. Hardly any communication, became the middle man for Enterprise and my insurance because no one including myself could not get a hold of them. Even the direct line to the service advisor, nothing! Everyone has left voicemails and no one ever hears back at all or even in a timely manner. Had to get corporate involved. Get my vehicle back for it YET to be not completely fixed. Horn doesn t work, missing an entire piece of trim, no part is aligned correctly and looks like its been mod podge together. To top it off, been trying to get a hold of them, left voicemails and guess what, still no response! Im ready to sell my vehicle and never deal with a Hyundai related vehicle again! Thank you for the awful and irritating experience I m still having to deal with.

I had a great experience working with one of the representatives and their service department named Lamont. He was super helpful and Informative every step of the way during my most recent repair. I would definitely come back or future repairs because of his service.

OMG!!! This dealership is beautiful! I had the opportunity to see this dealership when it was very new in the new location. I cannot say how impressed I am with the elegant feeling this building gives off. Kudos to the design team here.I had the best experience at this dealership that I can remember ever having anywhere. I was greeted by the nicest service advisor, Lamont Howard. He was so friendly and accommodating, he is a very rare find. I was taken care of like my needs mattered, not the common experience for me, especially at the last appointment I had for service. Lamont explained to me everything that was going to be checked on my vehicle and i was kept updated the entire time. He took great care of my comfort as well, he made sure to show me where to find the beverages, walked me through the features and functions of the remote and where to find the restroom. I did not get all of this service in the past. Lamont is my go to from now on! If only I could find a sales person that can match the level of service i received getting my vehicle serviced, I may purchase/ lease another Hyundai.if you need to get your vehicle serviced, see Lamont Howard at LaFontaine Hyundai for the best customer care ever.Thank you Lamont for being one of a kind in a world that is not so nice. I was with westborn dealership for 24 years. We did some research and went with Hyundai and purchased a Tucson! We love it. We had to have it serviced and Lamont Howard was the person I had the pleasure of dealing with! He was amazing and so wonderful! He helped me start to finish with the most AMAZING customers service! I will stick with them JUST because of this WONDERFUL man!!!! Make sure you ask for him!

Today was my very first time coming to this Hyundai. I was very close with my staff at my home Hyundai and did not expect their service to be exceeded; however, it was. From the moment I pulled in for my service appointment, Lamont Howard (my service advisor) was AMAZING. He explained absolutely everything to me thoroughly. It actually shocked me, aha. Just very professional, polite, and informative! He showed & explained everything I needed to get completed in a simpler way for me to understand. He set me up really nice in the guest lounge area while they worked on Sparkle (my child - my car ), came in every 15 minutes or so to keep me updated on the techs progress with my car, and was even able to shed a good amount of money off my service fee at the end. Overall I had a really great experience and that was because of Lamont, since I interacted solely with him. This was extremely important to me since I am new to the area and was so anxious about this visit. I am so glad to have found a Hyundai and service advisor (Lamont) that provided great, quality service!

We had a great experience at LaFontaine,which hasn't been the case at other dealerships. Ben S is a great communicator. He listened to what we wanted and made it happen. He also took the time to explain the new car and patiently walked us through the entire buying process. And we never felt pressured to buy. We highly recommend them.

I was very disappointed in their customer service initially. I can't remember the individual's name that I dealt with early on. However, he was very dismissive and didn't seem really concerned about my vehicle's issue.I called corporate to resolve the issue, but they never got back with me.Then I began dealing with Brendon and he was very attentive to my concerns. He was the only one in that establishment that showed some professionalism and I appreciate him.

Came here for my 12K mile service, and Oil Change. Lamont Howard was my service advisor and he was FANTASTIC! in explaining everything to me, telling me the next service update time lines, etc. Give this guy 100000 stars. Friendly, polite, keeping the customer in the loop. Oh, the new service waiting area is also very nice, I can actually bring my laptop here and work from here if need be.

Mason was very helpful, he answered all the questions I had in regards to buying out my lease and he made my first Hyundai experience in Michigan very smooth. Definitely recommend him to anyone who would like to purchase a new vehicle! 10/10 service. Lamont is such a sweet person and made me feel very welcomed upon arrival. Friendly and professional service. They were fixing something in my car that was recalled and provided the service for free. Only con was they initially said 24-48 hours and then it took 6 days... They communicated throughout but I would've probably made better arrangements had I known that from the beginning.

This building is really nice! Not just the building, but the staff is nice as well! I was able to be out of the building in less than 3 hours (other places was more than that time just for an oil change). Also, they were very accommodating in letting my work in a quiet place as I work on my computer.

Skip them altogether unless you want way less than is promised and what you pay for. They don't care about customer service weather it's dealing with a sale or service. They willingly violate their own policies and will flat out lie to get your business. When they get your business they so do their very best to trap you. Worse than a "typical buy here pay here used car lot"! PREDATORY

Hit a crazy pot hole, had to get my car towed to the dealership overnight. Service called me first thing in the morning and updated me every few hours day one, day two let me know there was more damage done than they thought and needed to order a new wheel which would take a week or so. They offered getting my car back to me with a mismatched tire while I waited, which I declined, however they called me on the day they said they would and let me know I was good to go. They even parked the car in front of the dealership for me to pick up since I got off work after they closed. 10/10 recommend LaFontaine and 1000/10 recommend the person assigned to my case!

Thank you guys at LaFontaine Dearborn, Joel never gave up looking for a vehicle for me, my situation was a little different. I was a stay at home Mom / self employed, this was my first car purchase. Joel your hard work paid off. Thank you Sam for your kindness and patience. Joel five stars is nothing compared to the service, Joel was very knowledgeable about the GV70.I found my sales person for the next vehicle.

Paul Pukay was amazing and so wonderful to work with. He was honest, transparent, and made the process so easy. He fought to get the most $ from my trade in, evening having a technician look at my car before it was assessed. My husband actually said, this is the most honest and trustworthy sales guy I ve ever met. I like him which is super high praise from him since he s not exactly a fan of most sales people. Paul helped me get my monthly payment in budget which I really appreciated. He did a good job of showing us all of the vehicle features (I got a Santa Cruz) and even called the next weekday to see how I was doing with the car.Buying a car is a difficult and stressful process and Paul made it so much easier and stress free.Call Paul!

Frank at Lafontaine Hyundai Dearborn was very great to work with. He made sure to explain all the features of the car and explaining the warranties I can get with the car. He quickly made multiple adjustments to get the number down to right where I wanted. Had an amazing first car purchase experience because of Frank!

I was thoroughly dissatisfied with the services I received with Lafontaine Hyundai. It took them nearly 3 months to complete the repair work on my car. They never responded in a timely fashion when I called on the status of my car. I dropped off the only set of keys to my car and they lost them. When they finally called to inform me that the car was ready it took them over a week to deliver the car - no communication during this time. After picking up the car I realized the keys provided did not fit the locks to my car. I contacted the dealership and told them that I was locked out of my vehicle because they had and lost the only key and fob they offered no resolution to the problem. After speaking. With a manager i was referred to the parts department t get a new fob. I was quoted a cost of about $320 for a replacement fob. To date my car sits in garage It wil not start because they used a tool to open the car. Theft protection will not allow they car to start. As of today's date 4/1/24, I have left numerous messages and received no response. If I could give them a negative point rating I would.

Jose sold me my car. His service is great. Real friendly and authentic guy. Go to him if you want to buy a car. I ve been working with him for 3+ years.Also Lamont Howard was handling my case when I went in for regular car maintenance. He was really friendly and communicated everything to me clear as day.Overall can t say anything bad about this place. 10/10. The people that work here are professional and I ve never had 1 complaint. For realI get my car maintenance done at the Toyota Lafontaine right next door. 10/10.

Review for service dept at the new expanded location,Dropped of the car for routine scheduled mainatiance and recall fix. Drop off was easy and went well.Online and text update system doesn't work well and system is not updated with status and message not replied to.Received a call to pick up the car.Pick up was not smooth. Basically handed me the papers and the key and that was it. Not the biggest issue but, received a VM a week or so later to bring the car in for recall issue. No explanation or other details. Tried more than 5 times to call them and get through to service to figure out why, but got no answers and no replies and no calls back!! Really bad communication and updates from service. Still have no idea if the recall fix was done or cometed right or what happened.

I recently bought my genesis from LaFontaine Dearborn I worked with Frank Kirma who is a great sales person I ever met. He was very honest, straightforward and knowledgeable. He gave me one price, no extra charges and no pushing for extra warranty purchases. He explained all the options available to me in regards to additional services and warranty and totally left on me to decide. And I loved that. It took only 5 minutes of phone call and a half hour in person meeting to decide the purchase. Car was delivered in excellent condition. Thank you Frank for making my car buying experience so easy.
