We had some rather extensive repairs needed on an older Cavalier. Fuel pump, brakes, wheel bearings and more. Matt provided a very comprehensive and fair quote. He was even able to expedite the repair. When we picked up the car, we learned he had found a few other issues while the car was up on the hoist. Instead of stopping work, he just handled the extra issues while the car was on the hoist. Not only is Matt personally a great guy who cares about his customers, but his team and facility are top notch. I had my bridge disconnect from my driver seat electric chair and I called him and he told me to just come by. If it s an easy fix he would do it for free. If not, he would obviously charge me I come by it was an easy fix literally took three seconds, and I was out he gave me his business card And I decided to leave a review because he was such a great person. Such a good hospitality very friendly guy very reasonable pricing.

Son went here for Trans work and was extremely happy with work done, communication with the people there, and esp the price paid. Would definitely return if needed, but will hopefully just be able to be a satisfied customer.

Matt does a fantastic job. I took my dream car here for him to do the brakes and an oil change. It was done fast and most importantly done correctly.Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. Also They were able to use the correct synthetic oil.

About Matt's Auto Service, I was in the market of buying my 16 year old son his first car. However I never knew Matt or of his business. I had found a car that I had asked Matt to perform a deep safety inspection on the vehicle I was ready to purchase since he was one of the shops I had goggled in that area. I was from clear across the other side of town at least 45 minutes all highway away from. Not only he knew the dealers that where selling the car to us as they said it was no frame damage and was repaired by a ACF certified body shop and passed all states inspection. We'll Matt got tgat car up in the air and inspection had failed miserably. Not only did it have frame damage it was in Matt's words Creamed so bad and was slapped back together with blots that didn't even belong to that vehicle. So I owe Matt and his business 5 stars for his honesty,his professionalism and most of all his expertise on his inspection data. He also went out of his way to let the dealer know that this car was not even safe to ever drive due to the frame damage. I wanted to pay Matt for all his troubles and his over the top Service. Only for Matt to refuse to take even a penny for his work and his time. This just shows that there are still great honest people still out here in the world. Thank you Matt and crew from the bottom of my family's heart. We will be sending people your way and we will be doing a lot more honest business with Matt's Auto Service.

Took my truck into Matt's to have AC looked at. I'm not used to taking my vehicles to a shop so I was nervous and didnt know what to expect. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable! They had their 3 boxers there giving it an instant family environment feel. Matt checked out my truck FREE OF CHARGE and told me what it needed and a price for repairs. I had it done for a great price and wasnt there long at all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Matts auto used to be good once upon a time last time I took my car there I paid $1800 and it was a very terrible job.! We took it back twice to have the problems fixed. They were not fixed. Matt's is fantastic, I HIGHLY recommend. Honest, excellent quality service, and never tries to push repairs you do not need. Me and my mom were out one night and her car broke down. We called Matt's Auto Shop. Matt himself came so quickly to access the situation. He was very knowledgeable! Before we knew it we got the call the car was fixed and we were so happy. It was fixed so quick! And for such a reasonable price. Matt is a great person and mechanic! I felt like I was having a good friend inspect my vehicle when I was there. I only had a prepurchase inspection done but I can say that when I was waiting I saw many happy appreciative customers. I came from out of state to purchase a vehicle and Matt inspected it personally. While he was extremely busy, he was able to make time for me which was awesome. If I lived closer Matt would hands down be our new mechanic. Incredibly smart, 30+ years of experience, honest and fair. It's very hard to find mechanics like Matt. He loves what he does and it shows in his care for his customers and their vehicles.

I just love Matt s auto service, he serviced my car for the last couple of years and when it was totaled, i was able to bring my replacement car in for him to check out before buying it. Just an honest guy trying to keep you on the road.

I've been coming to Matt's Auto for about 8 years now. Him and his crew are the best mechanic shop around, and Paula is wonderful and helpful anytime you call. They take the time to do right by their customers and deliver quality services. You won't find a more honest mechanic than Matt. I recently had a REALLY bad experience with a dealership and my "new" car constantly experiencing issues. I took it to Matt and he took care of it while staying in touch with me while we were waiting for parts delivery . I reccomend him to everyone I know and I mean it, TAKE YOUR CAR TO MATT!!

Excellent service, reasonably priced and Matt is honest and trustworthy. I worked at an auto parts store over 30 years ago down the street from Matt's and would send customers there all the time. I also have personally used him for repairs and have never heard a complaint or had one myself. I continue to use Matt and am still sending friends and family there with nothing but positive results. I've been a happy customer for years and as someone who is also in the automotive industry and have been for over 3 decades, I think I'm qualified to determine excellent service when I encounter it.

I had a major issue with my vehicle, and I took it to Matt. He quickly had my diagnosed and gave me a great price estimate for the issues/repairs the vehicle. After giving him the go to fix it, he made sure the repairs were done promptly and had me back on the road in no time! I am so great full for his time and care he took with me and my vehicle. I would highly recommend this business to everyone! They had wonderful customer service and I will be taking all future vehicles to Matt's !

Matt's been taking care of my family cars for over 25 years! Always great service, fair prices, honest diagnostics. Today was a simple clogged A/C overflow. A quick fix, and although he was booked solid for a few days, since he knew it was a quick job, so he squeezed me in without making me come back! I've taken each of my cars to Matt's over the last three years for work. They have always done a fantastic job, and it was always at a great price & quickly done. I had to have my car towed in to Matt's because of a gas leak that drained my tank. Matt was efficient and honest. He gave me a fair price to put in a new fuel filter and repair the fuel lines. The repair was finished in less than a day and a half. He even gassed up my car. I would definitely recommend Matt's Auto Service to any and everyone. I'd rate higher than five stars, but it doesn't go any higher!

Greatest auto body shop experience I've ever had! My wife's family used to always go to a place a few blocks down, but I never felt comfortable there as the "office" was this tiny cluttered space and the owner/main guy was difficult to talk to.Matt's was a completely different story. From the first phone call I felt at ease regarding having some look at our family van, as Matt's friendly nature quickly helped negate the anxiety I feel in these kinds of situations. Paula was also really wonderful to work with in the office.Everything was so nice and straightforward. Matt was quick to make sure I knew that he'd be using quality parts only, which is more than I can say for some other places I've been. Not only that, but for rear brake pads and rotors, new calipers, and a flush, the price was almost half of what Belle Tire wanted to charge me! Matt really came through for me in a pinch, and our family once again feels safe on the roads (well, as safe as you can around Michigan drivers!).

They did a great job on fixing my wiper motor. Timely and fair priced. I would recommend them to anyone. They have worked other family members vehicles and no complaints. However I would suggest that the mechanics be more aware of grease and customers interiors. I have cream color leather seats and they got grease on seat and failed to turn the air suspension back on. Hence the 4 stars.

Awesome shop!!!Matt and his wife are the most honesty automobile repair shop owners I have ever met.Matt is an amazing mechanic and is out there in the shop every day doing the work, does not matter brake job or engine swap they will do an amazing job.Pricing is the most fair I have come across in a long time.Matt is a straight shooter and can be trusted to do the job.I will always take my vehicles to him until the day he retires.Honestly you really need to take your vehicle to Matt's Auto serviceNext time you need some work done or a tune up and check him out. It's always a good thing to know another mechanic even if your happy with the mechanic you are currently using

I'm what you call a shade tree mechanic. I have always worked on my own vehicles because unfortunately I never really trusted other mechanics out there to work on them .I used Matts Auto many many years ago ,but again I always did the work myself. Recently I had a problem with my jeep that I just didn't have the time to waste figuring it out. I decided to go to Matts auto and I will say what a great choice that was. Just like many years ago this man is an honest man. He figured out the problem and yes fixed it in a very timely manner and at a very fair price. Their customer service is outstanding as well. I know one thing. I will be using Matts Auto for all of my vehicle repairs. I will also be referring him to anyone of my family and friends that asks for a good mechanic. Stopped by Matt's this morning to have them look at my rear brakes. Let me say first that when I called to schedule an appointment, Matt introduced himself on the phone and thanked me for calling and for my business. Amazing! Went in this morning and they took my car right away and asked why I thought it needed service. Matt and another mechanic (don't recall his name) took me and my son back and showed me the car and what was going on. They said everything looked great and didn't charge me for a thing. He recommended service that I could have done (spoiler alert, I'm having him do that service). Instead of trying to sell me something, he laid out what they saw and gave me options. Can't thank them enough, the service was so good I'm almost mad that something wasn't broke! That's the type of energy I'm about in 2020!

Matt was awesome to work with.I called him to help me out with my car and got some time with him pretty quickly. When inspecting it, he was thorough and went over everything in detail. He was clearly knowledgeable and pointed out things that might be an issue beyond my original worries. He ended up saving me money by helping me find preventative maintenance items before they became a problem too.I'd very happily work with Matt again.

Matt and his wife, Paula, are amazing! I was referred to them from a friend and I have not gone anywhere else since then. Matt is always so generous and honest. Paula is always kind. I now refer their business to all of my friends. Matt has my complete trust with my vehicles. If he doesn't know how to fix something, he will tell you who does know how. Great guy; great mechanic.
