I was here recently to get rear shocks replaced, new tires installed, and an alignment. The service was excellent. They did a fantastic job. But what really made me rate 5 stars was the free pen. Everyone at work is jealous when they see it!

Larry and his guys are amazing! Old school, professionalism without all the hassles. They back thier work as well and make it a priority to tell you that "if" you have issues, they will take care of it! (Assuming they did the work of course)

First impressions were not good. We had an appointment with a tech there to check out my daughter's vehicle for a firm quote, with a time to accommodate his schedule, and when we arrived he was not there. The owner was not sure where he was either. We waited 20 minutes and left. Will not return. 2 stars given as the owner was nice.

Larry runs a tight crew here. Rich and Paul hold down the shop and do phenomenal work for a fair price. Just a couple local guys doing great work. Definitely recommend coming here for honest work. My Family and I have been going to West River Car Care for as long as I can remember. They always do an amazing job and are very personable as well! I actually just got an oil change today and everything went very smoothly. The prices are reasonable and the mechanics are very knowledgeable as well. They even gave me a run down of what I might need fixed in the future without me even asking. I highly recommend West River Car Care cause they always do a great job for me and my family. Larry and his team are top-notch. I've been receiving service here for years and I'll never go anywhere else. They are fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. Larry gets to know you on a first name basis, and makes you feel like part of the car care family. They could easily charge double or triple what they currently charge. The service both inside and outside of the shop is that good.

Great communication and honest workmanship. Had been told my car needed brakes. After West River Car Care looked at it, told me I needed rear brakes only and could wait on my fronts. That's honest business!!!Will be using them for all our car needs from now on.

I can t say enough about how wonderful Larry and Rick and the other mechanics are! Our family has been going there for many years. They are honest and do their best to help us get the best deal on work that needs to be done. Plus, they are so good at communicating and explaining what work will take place. I highly recommend West River Car Care!

I have never posted a review, however, feel so strongly about this place, I want to make sure others know. I was in the market for a new repair shop for my Suzuki, found Larry and his shop and couldn't be happier. Very thorough, informative, honest and caring. They make it very easy to trust their work and diagnosis, knowing that they want what is best for their customers and vehicles serviced. I am now a committed customer after a one-time visit. Fair pricing and respectful customer service. Highly recommend these guys!

The service has been great and pricing very competitive. I have taken three vehicles there and have had nothing but great service. Larry and his team are always friendly and willing to explain anything that you may have a question on. I will continue to go there and recommend them to anyone!

West River Car Care is awesome!! I had to bring into three little ones while getting an oil change and the staff was super friendly, really nice to my kids and finished in a really timely manner. Also, there is a future repair that needs to be completed and the mechanic took the time to physically show me the issue instead of just showing me the quote and leaving it at that! Great service again!

My family and I started bringing our cars here about 2 years ago and honestly we should have started coming here so much sooner! Everyone there is always so accommodating, kind, and honest. They ve been able to squeeze my car in on very short notice, and they ll even take the time to explain everything that s wrong and what my options are/what they did to fix it. I d highly recommend going here for anything auto-related.

I went here on a recommendation from a friend, and these guys have earned a life long customer. I have, would, and still do recommend West River Car Care to anyone requiring service on their vehicles. Everyone understands that auto work is different from situation to situation, but amount of work they did in the much shorter than expected time frame was phenomenal. After I had replaced my sway bar end links I was tired of seeing the underside of my truck and no where near done with the work required. They replaced 6 factory ball joints, brakes, rotors, calipers and some wiring and other minor fixes to get my vehicle up and running like new again after a hard winter sitting outside. All for a very reasonable cost and wait time. I was kept appraised of any new discoveries by phone from either the owner of mechanic and asked what should be done about damages I wasn't initially aware of. Long story short, they have my full recommendation for anyone. The were quick, professional, courteous and just all around good people. Can't recommend them enough.

Been using West River Car Care for many years for all my cars. Both Larry and Rich have gained my trust and I appreciate their honesty and customer service. I have had several cars that I haven't gotten a lot of miles out off because of the quality service I have received here.

My car was disabled while traveling and I needed help to get it back on the road. Larry, Rich and Paul were very helpful in evaluating the problem and in the end was able to get it home. I recommend West River Car Care for any help you may need with your vehicle(s).

Your service is really great, and your help is super pleasant and friendly. The drop box is really convenient. I can get my car there the night before, and not have to get up EARLY! (I work 3-11. The car is ALWAYS ready when you say so. NO WAITING. Also appreciate the 2019 calander during the holiday season. Great job!!! Thanks Eric Murray

These guys are competent, fair, timely, courteous, and communicate well. I have been taking our cars here for a few years. We trust their diagnosis and work. Larry and Rich have always treated me right. Expect nothing but honesty, quality work, and fair pricing from these guys. I'm actually scheduling some maintenance work with them today.

Now before looking at my rating and thinking badly, these are great people, and very helpful. BUT, sometimes I disagree with service time charge, since when I brought my own trans filter and oil (which they had to use some more of theirs) and got an oil change, my bill was over $100 with service time alone, which is kinda ridiculous since I have a tans drain valve, and a trans filter and fluid swap should be just as easy as an oil change, plus the guy was taking a smoke break almost every 10 mins. Again, great guys just room for improvement.

My mother recently had a very good experience with Larry, the owner, and his mechanic. We had previously gotten her Toyota RAV4 a diagnostic check at the dealership and they told her she needed to have the entire steering rack replaced along with rear bushings and struts for $3,900. Needless to say we walked right out of there and found Larry's place upon recommendation from a friend. They fixed the problem for under $350, just needed new bushings and struts with a little grease added to the steering shaft/u-joint. We received honest and very prompt service, and I would highly recommend this place.

They handled the repair in a professional manner and they really know cars. I've had my two other cars in for service several times over the years and could not be more satisfied with the quality of the work and their reasonable prices. Good honest people. If you're looking for everything I was in a auto repair shop, you've found it!

I've been driving junkers pretty much my entire life so naturally I have a lot of experience with auto shops. Having a breakdown and bringing your car in to one of these places can be nerve wracking because so many places can be greedy, condescending, or just plain unreliable. I am happy to say that West River Care Care was none of these things. The first thing you will notice is how well they communicate with you. You are kept up to date in a timely fashion and they speak very politely. The second thing you will notice is how quickly they diagnose your cars issue, and not only that, but how quickly they get it fixed. During the process you are given options with quick and easy explanations on how much it is and how long it will take. Not only did they take care of my main issue but they also took care of another small issue for very cheap on short notice. I brought it in on Friday and had it back by Monday. They are closed on the weekends.If you are in the Comstock Park area I would recommend this place to you.

I am never disappointed by the service. They take the time to explain what is wrong with your car and give an opinion that you can trust. After another well known tire shop failed to fix a leak in one of my tires, West River Car Care was able to fix the leak and I haven't had an issue since.

I have been using West River Car Care for several years and have been well satisfied with the service. They are prompt and responsive to questions. If something goes wrong they quickly make it right. Prices are reasonable and fair.

Best mechanics and very upfront about cost and options. Larry is a great guy. And Paul is a great mechanic. Alwaays willing to talk you through thier work options. Awesome price on an oil change too...

We take all our cars here and have always been extremely happy.Rich is awesome at diagnosing car issues.Work is done in a timely manner and pricing is fair.Larry is very particular about any work done at the shop.

Very satisfied first-time customer. They seem very trustworthy and honest, explained everything that was going on with my vehicle without trying to Sell me every single thing my car could use like a lot of places do. Very good communication and I definitely will be back!....Brett
