I've been a customer for many years. Hands down, the best bait and tackle shop in the Grand Rapids area! The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and always offer help and advice. Very happy to spend my fishing dollars at Brenner's!

I tried catching a steelhead for three years with no luck. I stopped in Brenner's early morning spring for my usual spawn. I told the owner my frustrations and he recommended a specific wet fly. That day I hooked into five steelies and landed two. Definitely recommend.

Sorry I was mistaken Brenner's for ace..Brenner's is the best!!Although my minnows barely made the travel distance of ten miles I may need an aerator the next time I visit.Awesome shop with angler's in mind

Knowledge! It's a rare commodity now days. Family oriented. This place has a good selection of products and live bait for your fishing needs. The staff is always polite and professional. And if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask, they might be able to get it. Its one of those bait shops that you can come in and be comfortable. You should see all the pictures and animal mounts from years of fishing.

Great local store. Went for bait this time. Kent county lake starting around 9:30am. 70's-80's temp. As expected,worms were worthless.The 9-10" perch were biting on perch minnows and leaches. (Not the blood sucking kind) We had the most action on asian crickets but the sizes were small. Very light bites, light and ultra light poles and some blind jigging.

Don't let the size fool you. Nice little mom and pop store with an awesome selection. They even told me a couple good spots to take my grandson fishing.

Our family have been buying fishing gear and bait going back many years. Great service, good prices and good range of fishing lires, poles and reels. We often shop here before we go fishing in Canada. New line every year.

Good selection of reels, and good prices.Don't drive to 44th street until you check Brenner's.Also, why wait for damaged packages to show up late.

Went here to get poled wired...and buy weights ...the owner wife was on duty..her nails were dully appropriate..he told me when i picked up pomes next day..i told her luv the nails but they make me hungry..id wanna luck your fingers lol..i thought they were a WATERMELON design ..but he corrected me they were a FISH ...LOL.SO cool!!!the family oriented shop provides such GREAT SERVICE ..MAKES THE sport something to enjoy readying for..!!!

Brenner's is the place to go for bait and tackle, fishing licenses and/or flat tires. The owners are knowledgeable and helpful. It's always a pleasure doing business with them.

Great local tackle shop. No nonsense place. Everything on the shelves is what you'd want to see there. If you are a steelhead/salmon angler this is an excellent shop. Floats, beads, good selection of hooks, line, terminal tackle, and even lamiglas rods and so on.

I wouldn t go anywhere else for bait or tackle. If you are fishing locally, they have all you need, plus the know-how for West Michigan waters. Have been coming here since I was a child, 41 years old now, customer for life.

The best bait shop in town! Low prices. The owners are always willing to help with any questions. Usually toss a fishing report out as well.

Bought a dozen minnows "over priced". Almost 9 dollars. When i got home an hour later, 9 of them were dead. I called to see what they could do for me and they told me if i buy an oxygenator they would give me new minnows otherwise I'm out of luck. Never really had good customer service when I go there "been a customer for years" Never going back!!!!

Saw I had very low tire pressure so I stopped here and they were very kind. Fixed the tire and I was on my way in 30 min. Good people

Excellent bait shop for many years. I get all my live bait there as well as all my tackle. Very nice people and very professional. LOVE me some Brenner's!!!!!!

This place has been there forever and that says something! Good people to deal with. Any issues we ever had they worked with us no problem. Always go there for any kind of bait, fishing stuff ect!
