Towed my C6 in with transmission problems. Approved a work order for 4.5 hours labor and replacement of trans control unit. After 2 months in Vette Lab, car still wouldn t move. Paid bill of $2000 which felt like ransom. Visited car friday before labor day and Ed was on vacation. Towed car to another shop where it was fixed in 3 days. Unanswered calls, non returned texts and voicemails, and complete indifference to customer satisfaction. My recommendation is stay far, far away from Vette Lab.

VetteLab is top notch. Previously I have had work done at 2 of the "best" performance shops in the country and Ed, Matt, and the entire team at VetteLab have been far better to work with. Always honest and reasonable and my car is now an exceptional performer. Don't hesitate to trust them with your vehicle.

Matt and Ed took great care of a minor issue I thought I was having with my car. They could have easily soaked me a couple thousand dollars, but they were honest with what they found and fairly charged me for the work they did. Hard to find honest mechanics and even harder to find honest Performance shops. I ll be back to their shop when I m ready to make more power.

Bought a car that was tuned by Vette Lab and went to reach out to the Owner Ed Armbruster. Won't return calls, doesn't answer phone, and then blocked me. Not sure why any one would use this place! The tune itself is running rich a few othe issues.... A man that doesn't stand behind his work certainly shouldn't be still in business. Pathetic.Service: Auto engine tuning

The owner is extremely kind and understanding, always finding solutions to anything that comes up. Truly wanting to help anyone the best way he can. The whole staff at VetteLab is awesome at working on your car. This sort of thing takes skill and a lot of time. That's why you don't do it yourself and you take it to a professional. Your car won't be done over night with some of these projects, gotta remember that. Side note; a vehicle was made with all the components working mostly well together from the factory, when you decide to get things done to it, it changes a lot of how the car functions as the car is no longer in it's "natural" state. You have to keep that in mind when deciding to tune/modify your car, going to any shop. Sometimes the car will react to these new components in it that's why you have to be cautious with it. On that note, humans are not superman, they can't make everything perfect and things will have side effects sometimes. But this staff is very knowledgeable and will work with you until they've come up with a solution. They do an amazing job and yes, I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone, they do great work and I wouldn't take my car elsewhere!

Have had multiple cars built by VetteLab. Couldn t have asked for a better experience. Owner and staff are top notch and they earned a lifetime customer from me.

Worst car shop in Michigan .my car caught on fire when I tryed to take it for a test drive after leaveing Ed s shop 30 mins later smh lucky the fire went out on its own .after about 2 1/2 years of them haveing my corvette trying to build it I decided to just give up in sell the car it was nothing but problems once I took it there the car would over heat in cause the car to just shut down nothing but a nightmare with that shop I wouldn t even take my lawnmower to that shop if it was the last place on earth shop should be called hacklab or shi*lab

Dropped a car off here for a dyno tune. Worked with Ed but Steve tuned the car. Absolutely one of the worst tunes I have ever received. No idea how they are staying in business or how they are supposedly turning out 1000hp vettes. The tune was a complete hack job. Commanding around 11:1 AFR but getting 13.5:1 to 13.8:1 AFR. Anything under 2000rpm was completely undriveable. 2000rpm and under the car would buck, backfire, stumble, and peg my AFR gauge to 17:1 to 17.5:1 at part throttle. Car left the shop with DTCs on. Knock tables were completely disabled. Cruising down the road, the car would surge at 55-60mph. Idle was all over the place. Huge dead spot right off idle and hitting the throttle.Took the car to another tuner. He started over, and the car drives like factory and put down over 100hp more than the Vette Lab's tune. Car is an absolute dream to drive now. Who knows what kind of damage was done to my motor with their hack tune and what they did on their dyno. Probably thousands down the drain let alone the several hundred wasted on a tune with them.The tuner I took my car to had two other Vettes there that he was redoing because of poor tunes/workmanship. He said he gets several cars a year that had come from Vette Lab and needed a tune or work redone.

I've used VETTE LAB twice now recently on a recommendation of a friend and both experiences were Top Drawer! Purchased and had a BORLA EXHAUST axel back system installed by Vette Lab and they were extremely professional, and on time with scheduling and installation. Also purchased an oil catch can for my C5 and it's first quality. So when they tell you that they only sell and install product that they themselves would use on their vehicles they are being 110% truthful! Use VETTE LAB for any of your automotive needs and you'll be treating yourself to nothing but the very best in professional automotive services.

I have visited this shop many times and have always been treated with great hospitality and open arms, especially being a girl it s intimidating but Ed is always the nicest and helps out
