Took my car in for suspension work tires and brakes. Tires are fine alignment was off suspension not fixed properly and back brake squealing. Take it back up there they fix the suspension work for free and said the brakes are fine and re did the alignment. Pretty sure they hit something in my car because my front bumper has damage that wasn t there before I dropped it off also the brake is definitely still squealing. Worst experience ever will not be returning and I will be claiming this on my insurance that u guys damaged my vehicle during repairs

I ve been to this location twice for tire repairs, and on both occasions the experience has been great. Today I went in to drop off my fianc� s tire which had a sizable nail in it. I planned to drop off and be on my way. Easy enough. However Jim, who was working at the time, took it upon himself to grab someone to assist on the spot for no charge. 5 minutes in and out. They were busy but went out of their way to quickly help. It was an unexpected gesture that was extremely appreciated. I would highly recommend giving this location your business.

I can't even give pep boys a rating because I made an appointment and then two days later after making an appointment they canceled it. They told me when i came in there the tech will not be in today. I totally received a less than 5 star experience. I want to make another appointment with them but, I'm nervous because I don't think the tech will show up.

I highly recommend this location. Chet was the gentleman who helped me find the right hubcaps for my car and then installed them for me! He was patient and kind.

I have always found Pep Boys to be fair and lower than other oil change/auto diagnostic and repair facilities. The Clawson, MI location staff are always friendly, professional and efficient.

Great company/great service/wonderful team however, this is now the second time I ve scheduled my appointment online and when I arrive for my oil change(which should be 20-30 minutes) it takes 2 to 3 hours. If the online appointments are not able to be honored, they should not be taking online appointments!

Went in specifically to get tires through the current b2g2 deal on coopers advertised online. The employee told me it was no longer a valid deal. He was rude about it when I showed him on my phone that it was still a valid deal and that only the other brands changed and he told me that corporate must not have updated the website even though it clearly states on there that it's still good through til the end of the month. From their parking lot I was able to schedule the service with that deal through a different location. Absolutely would not recommend the Clawson location.

Totally BOTCHED a brake job twice and lied about it. They replaced the front brakes on a 2017 Corolla and immediately the brakes were squeaking afterward. Brought them back in, and they claimed to fix the issue but without ever saying what it was. Brakes seemed fine at first but started squeeking shortly thereafter again so took the car elsewhere. Come to find out, the pins that hold the calipers in place were overtightened and stripped, and a clip wasn t set in place to hold the brake pad so when the brakes were taken off, the brake pad fell to the ground. Said mechanic said wherever you got your brakes done, don t ever go there again.

If I could pick 0 stars I would. FIRST off the first time I came here to get a oil change it took over a hour and I was the only vehicle there. SECOND the 2nd time I went to get a oil change it didn't even take 30mins. THIRD THEY OUT THE WRONG OIL IN!!! When my vehicle was done they called me over told me the price of $45 and I looked confused bc the last time it was double that. So I ask what kind of oil did you put in? CONVENTIONAL OIL, I'm like ummmmm no it's supposed to be SYNTHETIC . So they guy goes it's not a big deal we can switch it. That took not even 15 minutes. I DON'T THINK they took the conventional oil out and put the synthetic oil in. On top of that they DIDN'T top off my fluid, BUT ROTATED MY TIRES!!! I'm pissed about that too bc my tires where just rotated 2000 miles BEFORE, so all you did was rotate back to before I got rotated 2000 miles ago.Needless to say I WILL NECER go back to the clawson pep boys. I'll drive out to the sterling HTS one, bc my dad has NEVER had problems with the one in Sterling heights.

I made an appointment for 11:30. Planned the whole day around getting my car worked on 4.5 hours later no one had even looked at my car, it was parked right where I left it. Explain to me why anyone would make an appointment if their car wasn t going to even be looked at within an hour or so??

I've always had a good experience with the Pep Boys team. They are reasonably priced and get the jobs done effectively. Recommend getting vehicles serviced here.

I m so thankful. I had a flat tire, brought it in to the nearest auto shop, the front desk manager greeted me right away and told me he d take a look. I ended up having a nail, and the manager was nice enough to allow my car to get serviced quickly to have the nail removed. Never been here before, but it was a pleasant experience. So I thank you to the team today for helping me out.

Made an appointment online. The guy working was very friendly. They diagnosed my issue to be what I thought the issue was. Fixed it in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. Good communication and friendly service. Car was fixed correctly. Very easy and very accommodating.

Can't say enough good things about them. I had come in for a diagnosis on my brakes back in April. They quoted me for new rotors, brakes, and 2 tires and even took me in the back to show me the wear on my car. I had said I wanted to wait because of the cost and finally came back today. Was able to call and get in on the same day. They were also ok with adding in an oil change and AC check. I stayed in the lobby the whole time and they updated me throughout. They also went over every cost before proceeding so I could give it my ok.

First and LAST time I will be going there. There is a $99.99 diagnostic fee that wasn't disclosed when I dropped off my vehicle. I never signed any paperwork agreeing to this amount. Plus, that diagnostic fee does NOT go towards services you plan to purchase. The repairs I needed included control arm and wheel alignment. They quoted me over $1000. I found another shop and got it done for a fraction of the cost.

Fantastic employees sympathetic to someone on a budget like me. I have utmost faith in John and the young assistant mechanic that work there. Due to weather my parts were delayed. I know for a fact they took extra time OUTSIDE scheduling to get me back to work during Christmas break. I am grateful.

I called Pep Boys in clawson to inquire about hours and replacement battery. I spoke to a very nice Gentleman by the name of Jim, who was very professional and proficient. I mean he went above and beyond and provided me the price.When I got to the store, he was updating a Customer in the waiting area with the same proficiency. I think I have found a new repair shop due to the excellent service received from Jim Cowan, Service Manager.

Went in for tire rotation and oil change. They changed the oil and didn't rotate the tires. The tires were far overdue to be rotated.

I ve had all the service done on my truck at Pep Boys in Clawson, Michigan for years now. I ve also taken my Mom s truck in there to be serviced on multiple occasions. Service is fast, and done right. Their prices are competitive, and they often offer big money saving coupons deals on certain services. I ve gotten to know Jim, Chet and some of the service team over the years, and they are all great people to deal with, and always very helpful. I would highly recommend Pep Boys in Clawson.

I got my tires done a few weeks ago and let me tell you, out of all of the places I have been related to cars, this pep boys crew really helped me out. Jim was my guy the whole time, I had a flat tire and needed my tires done by a certain time on super short notice and they got everything all set within a few hours! And got my car back an hour earlier than they had said! They do fast and efficient work and so I really appreciate you guys Coming back this Saturday to get my breaks done. Not sure what the gentleman s name was who I talked to who scheduled my appointment but he was also very nice and helped me out

I had my vehicle towed here when I hit a pothole, I was given honest expectations as to when the vehicle would be completed, and was treated very well by the service manager. If I am in the area, i would 100% bring any vehicle I own here.

Great experience. Had an appointment to get 4 tires installed. Got me in and out in an hour as promised. And did a vehicle/brake inspection which was unexpected but much appreciated! Staff was friendly and helpful. Great job! Thanks!

I went their for a real good 4-for-price-of-2 Cooper tire deal they were offering during black Friday. I talked to Chet(?) there beforehand when trying to decide on which tires to get. He was very helpful over the phone. He said that tire changes usually take 30~45 min., and that I could come in around 3pm to have it done. I came in late around 3:30. I was waiting, as I didn't have a way to do drop off. My car didn't end up getting done until 6:15 (after they closed), so I wasn't very happy about the wait time. However, they were very helpful with explaining the tire tread of my old tires, and replaced a tail light that was out no extra charge, so I thought that was nice of them. Overall good experience - though I would double confirm what time your vehicle will be done with them before-hand.
