Big shout out to Jeff and Dave. My car wouldn t start, so I went in about 30 minutes prior to closing to test my battery. I ended up needing a new battery. They were extremely helpful finding the right type of battery and even did the installation so I could get to work early the next morning. Amazing service!!

I needed a new battery for my Nissan. They had one here at great price, plus they installed it. The whole process took about 12 minutes. It was perfect. I highly recommend AutoZone for car battery replacement!

I stopped there today for a battery for my husband s Jeep. The two men were incredibly rude to me and unwilling to help. I would use the other three stores in the Clawson area vs getting yelled at by their staff here.

I came in with a question and the man behind the counter was staring at his screen and did not acknowledge me at all until I was about in his face in front of the counter. He was the only one around, or else I would have asked someone else. To say I felt unwelcome in that store is an understatement. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because once he actually acknowledged me, he did answer my question. It seems like so many businesses need to send their staff back to Customer Service 101 these days.

Charlie is the man! I came in Saturday morning to get items for my car, and my girlfriend's 2011 vehicle. Charlie was helpful on the lug nut I needed for her vehicle, with a great conversation. Later on that day when my girlfriend got home, she told me the vehicle is a 2009. Not a 2011. By this time it was 4 PM and I had thrown away the receipt. I went back to AutoZone, and Charlie was still there. He was able to look up what I purchased and advise me on the correct lug nut. It was a simple transaction, but I was happy with the service. Thank you AutoZone and Charlie!

I have never been treated so poorly than at this store. I went in to buy windshield wipers and treated in such a rude manner. He did not installed them securely and when I turned them on to use in a very stormy day the left passenger one came loose and scratch my windshield. I went to see manager and he said to get a price check to fix and they would pay for it. I went to safe life and was told the whole windshield had to be replaced. I went back to manager he promised to call me back and I never heard back again.Do not buy from this Autozone terrible and nasty service

Visited this store today to return something that was underbwarranty.i was turned away being told that it had to go back to original purchase store.i believe this defeats the purpose of being a nation wide chain.

Many thanks to Jeff and Jeff for helping me pick out the right parts I needed, at the right price, and helped me with the installation of my windshield wipers, which were very tricky. That is why I will always come here!

We only dealt with Jackson and he was awesome! Very professional, knowledgeable and even seemed happy to help! If he isn t a manager, he definitely should be! My mother needed a new battery and he made the process very easy and smooth for us. He was able to get the old battery out and a new one in, in no time! Store seemed very clean and the transaction itself was effortless. Jackson went out of his way to ensure we understood our options (ended up going with the better battery). So happy we picked this location, thanks Jackson! Side note-being female, going into auto stores has always been kind of awkward and questions always felt like stupid ones but it wasn t like that at all there and that was truly a nice change. Will return in the future and recommend to others! Thank you!

I ve been loyal to this parts store since moving to the area six years ago. Every time I go in for new wipers for my Volkswagen they give me the wrong ones resulting in multiple back and forths to auto zone. I made sure to decline the help getting a replacement rear wiper in late December, as I knew what I needed prior to going in the store. Being a female, the male cashier questioned my decision and decided to confirm I had the correct wiper. He insisted I had the incorrect wiper and grabbed what he told me was the correct rear wiper for my make and model. I doubted this but trusted them again. Of course I get home and this is the wrong freaking clip for my wipers for the millionth time from these guys. I knew it but the misogynistic employees couldn t trust me to get my own wiper. A month later I went in to exchange my wiper for the correct one but there was an oil stain on the receipt and no manager present to override the exchange because the barcode wouldn t scan. My husband made multiple attempts to catch a manager at this store within the 90 day return window but there was never one present. We rush to get to the store before 5 today to find a manager and take care of this finally but the same old, bald guy with a mustache that told us to come back when a manager is present was short and rude when he firmly told us we couldn t not exchange the unopened wiper any longer. He talked to me with a condescending tone and insisted no auto zone would take the wiper. Laughably the next closest location exchanged the wiper for me twenty minutes later. I highly recommend any of the neighboring auto parts store, like advanced who also has much better prices.

Lack of communication. Ordered lugs and nuts and got an email parts were delivered to pick up, go to pick em up and only the lug studs were there with no lug nuts. Got a refund on lugs and still waiting for them to return the money to my account.

Love this location! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Danielle G. took great care of us when we were having battery issues with our Toyota 4-Runner. She helped me confirm which battery options I had, walked me through the differences of each option, and shared a personal recommendation on which she'd suggest. It made my car trouble feel like no problem and it was the quick fix I needed! I'll definitely make this location my go to next time something comes up. Thank you!!

I had a bad sulfur smell coming from my car which at 1st I thought was the city's sewage system. So I stopped by the local AutoZone to ask for help diagnosing the problem.Jackson was the sales representative that assisted me and he was very professional and knowledgeable.Come to find out my battery was leaking fluid!So Jackson looked up my purchase history and found out my battery still was covered under warranty!Thank God.I didn't have to do a thing.Jackson exchanged my old battery for a brand new one and even took out my bad battery and installed the new one for me!I recommend this location to everyone who wants great customer service from people who care!

My customer service representative Jackson was amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable towards my request. I felt very confident with the service he provided and addition he installed my battery charger with the fuse at all. I ve been to the auto zone location in Clawson three times and EVERYONE I ve encountered there work staff is always a delight! Great People!

Awesome costumer service. Car wouldn t start in front of the store. Allen was super helpful in the freezing cold and fixed some other issues with the battery. He also explained all what he was doing and why and gave me some tips as well. Will definitely be back.

Allen Bell is the best! We pulled up with a bad battery, bought a new one along with washer fluid. We asked for help in installing it as we didn t have tools or the ability to install it. He was kind courteous extremely helpful. He installed it so fast and also helped me to put fluid in my washer reservoir. Amazing! Auto Zone rocks!

I was leaking coolant fast and had a broken radiator hose clamp. I needed it fixed so I could get the 2 1/2 hrs home. Stopped here and Alan's helpfulness was incredible. He sold me what I needed and he even installed the new clamp and topped off the radiator fluid for me. He went above and beyond. GREAT GUY! Thank you so much!

Drove past 3 other Auto Zones to come to this location for a new car battery. Alan was extremely helpful in diagnosing the battery issue and ensuring it wasn t something more severe. After that he talked me through my battery options He quickly and efficiently installed the new battery. Top-notch service, and great customer service. Will be back again, just hopefully not for a few years.

The parts manager Allen Bell was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the parts he recommended to me. He went above and beyond and went out of his way to help me change brake pads and rotors. Even stayed past his scheduled shift to help me. Would definitely recommend this store to other friends who need parts.

Allen was a great help. Car with battery issue, knowledgeable on the replacement and took the time to install the new battery in the frigid cold which was not straightforward while dusk was setting in. His professionalism and taking the extra time was much appreciated.

04/23 The district manager reached out promptly, very chill guy;)Went out of his way to follow up with me even though I was busy & not replying to him quick, did a great job at fixing the issue & had amazing attitude:) will now give this location another shot.03/29/ Disgrace of a so called parts store, worst staff, this is why Amazon is stealing all their business.Needed to return something & they refused to do so even within the 14 day window.blonde girl with glasses brushing me off and returned to having her sandwich instead of doing anything, and store manager Allen did absolutely nothing to help either Go to advanced right next-door lolll

Best autozone I ve ever been too! Very friendly workers too. One of the workers offered to put my new washer fluid cap on, and fill the fluid for me. That s not a huge deal, but it s the little things! Will be going back for future parts since they were so welcoming.

I have been going to the Clawson AutoZone for 8 years and they are so kind and helpful. I needed a new bulb for my brake light this week and they put it in for me. That is great customer service. Thank you to the wonderful gentleman that helped me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I d never been to an Auto Zone before, but I needed a new car battery, and Tony was able to help me find what I needed and install it! It was a trickier battery placement than they usually handle, but he graciously installed it in a very short time. Their store felt safe during the pandemic, and I was able to wait in my car for most of it. Very grateful I called them!Eileen, Royal Oak, MI

I use this place at least once a week, I am a lube tech for suburban and I personally always order parts from them and they have never steered me wrong. From the people up front such as Brandi who ALWAYS helps me out and gives me the real deal and recommends good products and steers me away from bad ones, to Eric in the back who is the manager I assume for ordering parts in the back. I had a coil issue and ordered the wrong one and he did everything in his power to get it right, had things specially done and even made a special trip to my store to help return some ones that wouldn t fit. I have notbing but good things to say about this store and staff please support them they truly do deserve it.
