I have been in for service a few times and every time am pleased with the quality of service provided. They really take care of you and love to talk Tesla! The team is knowledgeable and really took the time to understand my concerns and address them. I highly recommend Tesla Clarkston for your next Tesla Service visit.

This has to be the worse service center ever.1) never can talk on the phone busy 9 out 10 times2) they don t guarantee anything they just like to sell things3) I will never do anything with this place anymore.4) recommended tires 11 months later one melts off and they dont care to do anything about it.

Tesla Clarkston has been really helpful! For some reason I do not have my own SA, but everyone has been knowledgeable and helpful - Alex, Rob, Cal and Steven! Communication has been great. Never had a wait time calling them, everything was smooth! I'd like to thank Steven during the pick-up for helping me to set-up the vehicle and do the interior and exterior final check! Vehicle is 100% smooth! Highly recommend Tesla Clarkston!

Great service experience here at the Clarkston, MI location. From John (Service Advisor) to the technician (Oscar) who worked on the car. I can t recommend them enough. I would happily have them service the Model 3. Worth noting, they even gave me a loaner when I wasn t expecting to have one, I m sure it s due to availability, but it s a nice surprise nonetheless, especially when you didn t request it!

I have had a couple of rare, minor concerns in the past, and the service team responded promptly and has always fixed them no cost within the warranty.Recently, I had an issue with the MYLR's suspension. They inspected it thoroughly and tweaked/readjusted it. Now it drives really well. Kudos to the technician and the service manager, they did a great job! I always go to them for any service if needed.

I had an appointment booked with them well in advance for my Model 3 for a passenger airbag failure and the horn not working. Two serious safety concerns.I travelled here about 3 hours round trip from Canada. My Tesla account has my Canadian address on file, the car is registered in Ontario, Canada. The only reason I planned to go to this location is because it was the only one open on Saturday for service and technically it is the closest one to my home.I was told that the service would take multiple days and that they had arranged a loaner vehicle for me. This was after I was told that my service would take less than a day and that I could just wait at the service centre for it to be completed if I wanted.After driving an hour and a half to the service centre, I was told immediately that they couldn't give me a loaner vehicle as they are not permitted to cross borders and that they couldn't start on my service until at least Monday.I was told the reason why this had not been caught earlier is because the people managing the communications for scheduling service in the app are not the same people as those working at the service centre. Someone in scheduling could have looked at my account and realized I would not be eligible for a loaner given my place of residence. If they had noticed this they could have messaged me and not wasted hours of my time on a Saturday morning.I gave them two stars instead of just one because they had hot coffee and snacks.I will not be returning and hope that there are some internal changes that occur to prevent things like this happening in the future.

Awful - I'm selling my 2023 Model Y - Tesla is Not accountable for anything they do and they continue to pass the problem down the road. Clarkston doesn't answer their phone and if you are lucky enough to get them they have scheduled and rescheduled service appointments starting in November and now it's March and my problem still exists. They Don't Care about you or your problems and your time means Absolutely Nothing to them. This is my second Tesla but definitely my last! I can't really put into words how Awful my customer service has been and continues to be. I need a simple hinge replaced and they can't seem to pull this off. Elon should close Clarkston Tesla!

Terrible experience with Service Center. Car was having issues and I was messaging back-and-forth with the service center for weeks until my appointment. The problem was something I could ve reset myself through the car. Instead I had to take a day off of work and drive there for no reason. They also told me through the app messages that they would replace my rim if I had an OEM rim. Then, when I get there, they tell me it s over $200 just to change a wheel that I brought in myself. I m really disappointed that this is the only service center in Michigan. I probably wasted over 12 hours of my time with this ordeal and a pto day.

This is a wonderful facility with a tremendous staff that totally upends the car buying process in Metro Detroit and follows up with a mind blowing level of service that is essentially unparalleled in the industry. I purchased a Model 3 performance and it's the most transformative vehicle in the history of life. Every time I've had any type of question or concern, Tesla Clarkston has been extremely attentive, super friendly and beyond courteous to the degree that my memories of dealing with other companies dealerships are night terrors in comparison.

Chris the manager is refusing to fix paint defects on my tesla from the factory. I've had several appointments in service and they do not address all concerns listed. Trying to find a contact to escalate my issue above my local service center. Paint falling off front bumper, rear bumper, near tires, and driver side door. Front bumper was poorly repaired which required a second visit. This location has done a poor job taking care of customers buying these expensive vehicles.Update as of 8/8- I ended up suing Tesla under the lemon law. This service center returned my vehicle with a nail in the tire, adhesive gule all over the rear bumper which took two hours to clean, and dirt all over the seats. Upon notifying tesla, they offered to patch the rear tire instead of replacing it. My vehicle was returned to me with new issues along with past issues never being addressed although they were on the service request appointment. I hired a lawyer and settled with Tesla. They took the vehicle back under as "good will" and gave me back the money I paid in whole. I'd suggest using a different service center if at all possible.

For being the only service center in Metro-Detroit currently, this place handles the demand from Tesla very well. The staff is excellent and always working hard to provide the best experience they can.You can schedule test drives, pickup a new delivery, order a vehicle, or get service all in one place.I wouldn t let the one star reviews alter your opinion on getting a Tesla in Michigan. As long as you do your research and you don t mind the drive you ll be fine.Overall, this place has been a huge push for Tesla in MI and the employees that work here are at the forefront making things happen

I noticed that most of the 5-star reviews related to sales/showroom experiences, and it appears that they are no longer operating the showroom (see pict). Most of the reviews on the service department were one-star. Nonetheless, I decided to give them a try. Big mistake. Our 2018 Model 3 had severely uneven tire wear (inside edges of BOTH front tires wore down to and thru the cord - see picts). Replaced the tires and had this service center do a wheel alignment (since the tire store said they couldn't do an alignment on a Tesla). Service was performed and the price was reasonable, but no one could give me a rational explanation for the uneven tire wear, given the before and after results of the alignment. Had to leave with no assurance that it would not be a problem with the new tires, but was assured that Cody (Service Mgr) would call me the next day to discuss. They refused to give me a number so I could call him, which seemed suspicious. Three days later and Cody has not called. I should have believed all those one-star reviews that complained about a lack of communication. I will find a different Tesla Service Center next time.Service: Wheel alignment

Amazing team, very detailed and provided great tips to keep up on the exterior. Snacks, coffee and water provided in the lobby. This will definitely be my go to service location until A2 opens up!

Dropped a Model 3 off to get the autopilot computer upgraded. Amazing service and I was given a performance Model S to enjoy while they had my car! I never had to interact with a single person or enter the building.While the Tesla mobile service team is great too, I'm very thankful for a Tesla service center in Michigan.

Amazing customer service. I caused damage on my MYP and needed to make sure battery/frame were ok to drive home safely. The team here didn t give me trouble for not having an appointment and immediately started checking my car. I am so so grateful thank you for the great experience!!!!

Everything was managed through the app. Roadside service was extremely responsive. It only took 2 days to fix the problem. Progress updates were made through the app, and everything was very easy to understand . I was extremely pleased with how everything went and the prompt communication through the app. This is how service should work, quick and efficient, all app based. Did I mention the app?

I ran over a large rock and dislodged and broke parts of the wheel well. I made an appointment for diagnosis and estimate for repairs. Even though arriving a bit early, I was seen immediately. I was told what needed to be done and was given an estimate, which was less than I expected. The parts were in stock and the repairs were done in less than an hour. Everyone was friendly, efficient and helpful. It was probably the best experience I ve ever had at a car dealership.Service: Body & Trim

Kudos to the staff at Clarkston Tesla dealership for making a little boys day amazing. We set up a test drive and Tyler went all out to show my autistic grandson the ins and outs of his favorite car. Ethan has a passion for cars and was so excited. Everyone at the dealership was so thoughtful. I can't thank you enough for your kindness.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean waiting room with nice amenities. Only real complaint was that it was not communicated to me that they would be able to do the repair while I waited. I was under the impression that I would be given a loaner and it might take a day or two. So I didn't bring work to do when I could have done so. Also two of the repairs were not able to be done because they didn't have the parts. This appointment has been in the works for about a month or so. So a bit surprising. But a mobile appointment was offered for the additional repairs. Overall happy with the experience. Next time I will be prepared to work.

After continued calls no one called back. Wanted to reschedule a delivery due to an emergency. Had to leave my kid In hospital to pick up the car. However, I was called after the scheduled time and accommodated later that evening. I just wish communication was better.. Tesla delivery from clarkston MI.

The process of scheduling an appointment was easy, but contacting them before the appointment was not. I could have used better communications about how long the repair was estimated to take and have a confirmation if a loaner vehicle was going to be available.Once I got to the shop they were very friendly and professional. They resolved my 3 issues successfully and I was able to drive home with no squeeks or rattles!

Very poor communication. My car is under warranty and I understand they won't prioritize me. I just wish they did not make it so obvious. They kept my car a week and now I need to take it back due to my heater not working. I asked to please talk to a manager, but no one ever called me. Service staff and technicians are a joke. I ve had my car in this shop twice in the last year, and both times they completely forgot to fix both my broken charge port, and a broken clip on one of my fenders.On one occasion they agreed to a repair and I approved the invoice, then two hours after I dropped off the car for the scheduled appointment they called me telling me they would not do the repair, so I wasted a day off for nothing.The second visit was actually a follow up from a year old issue, a heat pump, which was failing last winter. They refused to do the repair as they said they didn t find anything wrong with the diagnostic tests. Fast forward to this winter and the heat pump blows up on the first cold day of the year. They want me to pay 4k since it s out of warranty now, but if they had repaired it last year it would have been under warranty.These guys are truly the worst. Forgetful, inattentive, and unqualified.

I've had good and bad experiences here. The 1st few were great and wondered why the complaints were happening. Then I found out. They have a bad habit of not knowing if they have your parts in stock before you get there. They just did the same thing for a new front tire. They said the tire wasn't in stock after a month of being scheduled. (I can get a tire in 2 days at discount tire). My appointment was 2 days away and said the appointment could take 2 to 3 days to fix. I cancelled and went to Discount Tire. I might start going to Toledo. Seems like they have the potential to be good but can't seem to be consistent. I believe in Tesla and hope this part of the business can get improved.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I picked up my new Tesla from the Clarkston Tesla Service center, I would not buy one until there was a service center in Michigan. I was a little apprehensive picking up my Tesla, thinking they were just gonna say here you go, read the videos and go, but it was not like that at all .Matt was my guy and he sat in the car and made sure I was all good setting up my key and settings I could stay as long as I want to ask any questions I wanted before I left, the car was fully charged and it looked beautiful! About a week later I had a question and called the number that Matt gave me which had an extension, I got someone immediately who help me with my questions. I was worried it would be a bit in personable, but not at all. I love my Tesla and it s getting better every day with all the updates. I love showing my friends the light show which changes with updates.! My grandkids love the farting feature, which can be heard inside and out of the car. This car is crazy cool. The dealership was great.
