Please please please do not buy a vehicle from this company. The middle of Dec 2023 we bought a 2014 Dodge Journey from them for over$7000.00 and is now a beautiful yard ornament. And they refuse to return any calls to us.

I got a vehicle through them. Everything was good until I went to make my first payment then got told that I had a late fee because I was under the impression I could make weekly bills weekly or monthly payments. They failed to explain it correctly. Then I referred a co worker to them get told I'll get money off my bill for it but I didnt get it because they claim he never said anything. They are shady and not honest people.

Angle went above and beyond to get me approved for a loan even stayed open late to get all the paperwork in and even helped with explaining everything for my loan application. So I want to say thank you again you were a big help.

I purchased a car for 4K from Mike the Manager and within a day the car overheated and had to be towed home. I contacted Hilltop on a Friday afternoon to discuss and was told I would get a return call from the owner. I did not receive a phone call back til Tuesday. Mike asked me to bring the car back to be looked at by their mechanic I live 2 1/2 hours away and was concerned about making the drive. I was then asked to take it to my local autozone and let him know what was wrong and plan to bring it back to Hilltop . When I called back to make the arrangements, Mike was not available to talk. I was told at that point by someone else I d be responsible for the cost of the parts but I d get a 50% discount on labor.Seriously ! This is a stereotypical used car purchase NIGHTMARE come true. This car was on their lot since March so I m pretty sure it didn t just start having problems within hours of me buting itBeware to anyone shopping here. Do your homework. I didn t. Don t expect anything more than them taking your money. After that , you won t even get a phone call from them. Oh , and just because they own an auto mechanic clinic and it s on the same lot , don t let that fool you into thinking they actually are selling cars that are road worthy.

Edited to add responses to owner's comments.A) They offered to pay $200, which wouldn't even cover the cost of the mechanic.B) The only threat my husband made was that we would see them in court. He then called back and apologized for over reacting, even though any parent would predictably act in that manner.C) We understood that our mechanic wrote that wrong - and they were informed that it was the rear subframe instead when my husband spoke to Nathan.D) We also understood that we were buying it as-is, but that does not mean unsafe. We were aware that the cruise didn't work, the horn didn't work, the passenger air bag sensor was on, and (thought) that it needed an alignment and tires.D) Nathan absolutely did threaten to block our numbers.Hilltop Auto LLC is the worst place you could buy a car from! They totally screwed our 20-year-old daughter by selling her a car that is not even safe to drive. We purchased it on a Tuesday night, dropped it off at our mechanic on Wednesday morning, and by Thursday morning were calling them to let them know what was going on. Our mechanic found metal shavings in the transmission, the rear subframe was twisted so badly there was no way to straighten it and align it; one of the brake calipers was being held on with a bolt; and one of the CV joints was ready to blow. We requested our money back and told them we would give them the car back, alternatively would they help us with the repairs, or give her a different car that was safe. Nathan Gamez was rude and disrespectful - at one point telling me that he was going to block all your numbers because we were annoying him with all your phone calls . They informed my husband that the car had passed their inspection and that our mechanic was shady and there was nothing wrong with the car, so therefore they took no responsibility for anything wrong, yet they will not let us see that report. I tried calling Shane Gamez, the owner of the car lot, to speak to him parent-to-parent to see if we could resolve this in an amicable manner and was told that he s never in the office but they could take a message and have him call me back. That has not happened. Shane and Nathan Gamez are corrupt businessmen who only want to make a fast buck and don t care if they endanger people s lives. They have 3 lots - one in Clare; one in Skidway Lake; and one in Prescott - don t go to any of them unless you are prepared to be relieved of your hard earned money and given trash in return!!

Shady, untrustworthy, Fickle I bought a car that was advertised as no major issue and I left with it and when I got to my oil change the next week they told me the subframe was rotted to the point where a pot hole could cause my engine and transmission to fall out I called them and they told me since I bought it as is there was nothing I could do even though buying as is doesn t mean they don t have to disclose material facts and to add insult to injury I ve had nothing but problems with the vehicle and I m gonna have to junk it before my loan is up but thank you hilltop for taking advantage of your consumers to make a quick buck

They are the worst business ever I bought a car there 6100 bucks they replaced the motor in it and the car stopped running after two weeks and they wouldnt help me get it to there shop thats far away and I cant get it there when it doesnt run dont trust them at all they are the worse car place ever i have to drop 1000 on it jiat to get it running after two weeks

Salesperson was friendly and helpful, just didn't have what I was looking for at the time. Was not asked at either location for my information in case other inventory was found. Overall I would give this place another shot if I find what I'm looking for.
