Hands down the best place I've ever brought my car to! From Hunter, the woman who deals with all the complicated people like me, to the guys who deal with the pain in the butt vehicles.. they all went above and beyond to help me with the problems I needed addressed not to mention bringing to my attention some things the previous place I'd been to didn't do right which could've been dangerous for my family! I will NEVER bring my vehicles to anyone else and will recommend Dagwoods to anyone! They gave me estimates on the repairs that were fair and detailed, had my vehicle done in the same day and even did little things that I wasn't expecting but was greatly appreciated! Dagwood's is the place to go for all your vehicle needs!!

Well to say they are not the greatest shop around would be a understatement.. I had just got a new car and the caliper froze up and instead of just charging me they went out of there way to call the place I got it and got them to cover and on top of that they not only took me home.(which I live 4 miles away ) and they r gonna pick me up also so I can get my car today. To say the least I am very very happy with my experience through these guys and will be getting any more work done through them they GO ABOVE AND BEYOND

This shop was arguing with me about the year of my vehicle. I'm not sure what would possess someone to do such a thing. I told her she should contact my insurance and tell them that the vehicle was older so I could get a discount then she claimed she was surprised insurance didn't use the vin , as if state farm doesn't use vin numbers. Yes lady, everyone is wrong about the year of the truck, not you . They also wanted to charge for stuff that wasn't wrong with it. I just took it to two different places not telling them what this place said, both didn't say I needed a new TIE ROD. Nor do I need new ball joints with control arm and ball joint assembly , and 2 loaded knuckles that cost ($371.99 with a lifetime warranty at O'Reilly's with next day shipping) and these people charge $609.85 for each one, not including the labor . They also told me their shop in mount pleasant shouldn't have did a front end alignment, then backtracked saying I must have did $2906 worth of damage in less than 2000 miles. A big pothole must have did it. They have so many 5 star reviews so people can "save $5" as it's posted right in the shop! I'm contacting the BBB with the other two estimates.

I just ran into a snow bank and my front left bumper popped off. A kind young man kneeled in the snow and popped it back in place. He would NOT take any money! Yes, there are very good people in Clare! I am SO thankful!

My absolute favorite auto shop, any issues I have with my car I take it to Dagwoods. Prices are always good and the work they do is always top notch. They always get me scheduled in quickly and take excellent care of me and my car. They are amazing!

My ABS light and traction control lights were on. They said it was my sensor. They changed it and 2 days later all lights came back on. I called and told them. They said they would give me a call when they got the part in and they never called. I called them to remind them and they still said they would call when the part came in. So now I am starting this winter out with still no traction control and tight on money with being a single m9m. I don't recommend single women to go here.. you will be taken advantage of

Took my Jeep there to have them do some work and I was beyond excited how quickly they completed the task at hand. The prices were extremely reasonable and very knowledgeable mechanics.

Can t beat the service !!! Very professional people they give you a fair price and honest estimate!!! My work truck breaks needed a part could not find one they searched all over found one in lower Michigan we ran got it and they Had my company truck up and running stayed a little later then normal business hours to make sure it was working !! Back out plowing that same day thank you Josh and crew!!

I had an awesome experience here. My car was overheating, and the dealership told me 3 weeks to get my car in just to bleed and check the cooling system. The service writer was as rude as he could be about it. Even told me there were three shops up the road. I will never return to that dealership. Dogwoods got my car in the shop within 15 minutes. Before my ride even showed up! Within 2 hours, they called me with an estimate and had the work completed within 4 hours of me dropping the car off.They employ some of the nicest mechanics I have met in a long time.If I need any work done on any of my vehicles, Dogwoods is the first place I'm taking it. They made a customer for life.I would recommend anytime.Thank you, Dagwoods!

My husband took his truck there after it broke down on the road. They replaced a wheel bearing and cv joint in one day as promised. All of the staff were very nice and easy to work with.

Got really lucky with these guys. Being a young female, I typically worry that auto shop workers will try to target me with up-charging various costs or doing unnecessary work. These guys were VERY upfront with pricing and plans for my fix, and they even brought me right under my car to show me what they were doing! They gave me a ride back to school AND came to pick up after to come get my car, and they got mycexhaust repair done in 3 hours. I m so grateful for the service I got here at a very affordable cost.

Had the car towed for we believe was the axle broke on the driver side, told them we don't know if anything else is wrong and that dhhs was going to pay for the repairs. Well they were supposed to repair the vehicle to be safety be able to drive back on the road. Well get it back still had issues with the axle, which one don't know, on top of the car over heating too with a leaking stop they said but didn't fix it. That is a safety concern. Now our car shot. Had to walk 1.5 miles home with our 19 month old. We weren't happy. We will not ever use this place again. Common sense auto repair my a**.

My elderly mother got a financed car from down state and the motor went before her second payment. These guys worked with the "warranty" company and did it with quickness! They kept me updated every step of the way and worked really hard to get it repaired and back to my mom. They were honest and professional the entire time. Absolutely wonderful guys to take your car to for sure!Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

After 3 failed attempts to diagnose my car's problems and Dagwoods knew right away! Fixed it fast, GREAT people and prices! I would travel hundreds of miles for these mechanics if my car needed fixing again. Expertly diagnosed, old fashioned caring company. My vehicle was fixed fast and completed on time. I cannot say enough GREAT things about this repair shop in Clare, MI.

Disappointed! Had truck sent in to do front breaks. They told me truck wasn t worth fixing and to scrap. Took my truck to another mechanic that next day and they told me my truck isn t junk and not to scrap and minutes after dagwoods calls trying to buy parts off my junk truck. Needless to say my company won t be taking our work trucks there anymore

Traveling with a dog and travel trailer and my suv dies in the gas station parking lot in Clare. Battery is 2 years old so thinking alternator. Called Dagwood s 20 minutes before they closed. They don t have the part but can get it. But again .closing soon! I wasn t sure what to do at this point but all depended on getting the suv started. Awesome AAA guy was working on that with some frustrating results. Dogwood s calls me back and tells me if I can get there, someone would stay late to fix it for me - so AMAZING! Just have to get it moving. Double charging the battery finally worked so now I had an anxious, please don t break down 6 miles to Dagwood s. Made it there a little after they closed and 5 gentlemen came out, ran some tests, gave my dog a treat and diagnosed the issue; it was the battery after all. They had me out of there in 20 minutes and I left feeling grateful for the experience. Grateful that there are people that genuinely care about the well-being of others. I can now enjoy my vacation because of the guys at Dagwood s. Thank you!!
