Car quest is the perfect store If you need to change the oil in your car yourself. They have everything from car lightbulbs to ratchets. It is a perfect little auto store. If you need to pick anything up for maintenance on your car. I highly suggest it 9 out of 10.

Joe is always super helpful. If they don't have your parts in stock they can get them very quickly. Usually the next day. Sometimes same day!

Best auto parts in Chelsea! They are still independent so they have access to thee most variety of parts & supplies. Highly recommended for the classic car owner. The team that works here are top of the line, theres a wealth of knowledge behind the counter. Looking forward to my next visit!

Needed a battery and Joe said he had a fresh one. I went in to pick it up and pay with my credit union check with my Grass Lake address and phone number and ID. Joe took the check but told me he usually only takes checks from Chelsea banks. I ve gone in there for years and have paid with cash and my Chelsea State Bank checking which I didn t happen to have with me. I ve written checks in Chelsea from my credit union for over 20 years and never had a problem. Battery has been on the charger for almost 6 hours and is just over 50% charged. I m not going back.

Every experience is perfect. Just today, my 1988 truck door latch gizmo breaks or is stuck. I exit truck but can't close the door. It's pouring down rain. I call local dealership where I have serviced and ask for a house call or at least help of some kind. They tell me to bring it in and they will look at but parts will take time to order. I am thinking "but it's pouring down rain and it's 55 speed limit on road into town." I hang up and remember how wonderful Chelsea Carquest guys have been since I bought this truck. I call tell them the problem and they tell me the "trick" to fix it--you need to pull the outside handle up (like you are opening it) in order the the latch to release and go back into place. I run outside in the rain, I try it and it works! Love these guys every time. Now I can go to work!.

Great store! If they don't have it, they will get it fast. Also make hydraulic hoses.
