I like the people here. They are friendly. The first car I bought from them ran good and only had time repair miner things. The first car I bought was fine for a few months but it I started to have problems with the car overheating, then it would be fine then overheated again, back and forth with this problem. In a year and a half I've had to buy an oxygen sensor, buy new tires (full set), get a tube up, do an oil change (the last two was expected), change the thermostat, and put in a new head gasket. I'm paying more for fixing the car than what I paid for it! I'm rethinking buying another car from them. My trust in them is not good anymore. I don't know if this dealership knew about the head gasket or not. They need to check the vehicles they get more thoroughly.

I went there in August 2022. Found a nice vehicle in my price range. It needed new back brakes. They agreed to replace them, no extra charge. Two months later, the brakes were grinding, metal to metal. I got them to fix them a second time. I suggested what the problem could have been that causes it and they wouldn't listen to me. Kerry even brought up the gravel around the rim as a cause. I've lived on dirt roads all my life and that has caused brake failure like that. Well, needless to say, here we are in January and my brakes are grinding once again.So let's see if I contact them again, will they fix them correctly (since the parts are warrantied if you they do it) or will Mike tell me ..good luck...again and I will have to pay for parts and labor

Mike and his team were excellent. They were very patient with us, allowed us to test drive, and even take it to our mechanic for inspection.Great service and they are real people, meaning I never felt the salesy slime you get from some used car dealers. I will be back.

This place is dishonest. They sell junk and then sell you a warranty and do not turn in the warranty. Everything they said was a lie, to and including the outrageous interest rate. They sell a truck with a blown motor, and then blame it on the buyer. Stay away from this place. Junk! 0 stars

My father went in there today to purchase a car,, and I have to say it was a overall good experience. Id like to give a special thank you to the new member of the team Rich Hoff Jr for being so attentitive making sure we had everything we needed, and doing his best to help all of us make a decision. He is a great sales man and very polite addressing us all by name, and doing his best with what he knew for being there only 2 days. Thank you also Mike for being so friendly and making us a deal on a great car!

This place has done nothing but screw me over and I'm pissed. They've been very good with my brother but just the opposite for me. My friend and I went up to get a vehicle from them it was a nice 2002 dodge Dakota but only after a couple days of having it the transfer case broke. Well they were nice enough to give us a rental while they fixed the truck, well after weeks and weeks of telling me it would be done this Friday and oh it'll be done Monday..... About a month later we still didn't have our vehicle back, don't get me wrong it was nice that they let us have a rental but at this point they had our vehicle longer than we had. So finally they tell us "well if you're that unhappy we can buy it back from you" so naturally we said that would be great. So finally a month later they bought the truck back and gave us our down payment back and said they'd take care of the loan for us. Well I've been called I don't know how many times by the credit acceptance to make a payment on a truck I no longer have. I explained to them many times now what happened and after each call I've called rivertown and they said they'd take care of it. Well I still keep getting calls about my payment on the loan so obviously it hasn't been taken care of and I'm beyond angry. Once again they called me today I explained it again what happened, well now credit acceptance has filed a fraud case against them since I don't have this vehicle. I even called them again and he said he sent an email to them and that he'd send another one. Which I doubt he's even done. So if your thinking about buying here I'd rethink your decision cause it's been nothing but a pain in my ass to have to deal with this. He's not only ruining their name at rivertown but also ruining me and my friends credit!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would! This place is absolute TRASH!!! I bought a 2007 Dodge Nitro back in August. August 11th to be exact. I had I ONE WEEK and stuff strted to go wrong. I took it back because I had a 30 day warranty. I asked them to fix my horn, AC, radio, my breaks and calipers. All they did was pop my good and take off my back tires. THEY FIXED NOTHING! Mind you they sold it to my like that. It was also not cleaned out and detailed or washed there was no gas in it. After I found out they fixed nothing I called and asked if I could bring it back in so they could fix what needed to be fixed they proceeded to put me off and then my 30 days was over and I took it in and they wanted me to pay for it! Are you kidding me?!?! I told told them you guys were the ones that said bring it in tomorrow bring in in the next day and I kept going back and back And back and they said they couldn't take it because they were booked up. So I got sick of it and I told them where to stick it. Their mechanic is so stupid he tried to explain to me that I didn't need anything fixed.... I had it looked at BY A PROFESSIONAL and brought paper work in before my 30 days was up and they wouldn't fix it. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL. THEY WILL SCREW YOU SO BAD!

Sold car on August 8th, 2018. Exactly 2 weeks later car was smoking and engine was racing, took the car back, they at first refused to fix it. Than agreed to fix the issue for 1/2 the price. Picked car back up on Saturday the 25th, said drive it over the weekend if you have any problems call us, on Monday the 27th the car started smoking, sputtering than died. They refuse to help with any issues, stated they would send the bank to get the car. These guys are damn crooks, they are dishonest and are stealing from people. A complaint has been filed and an attorney has been contacted.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, BREATH OR MONEY

The staff was wonderful....yet, very unorganized. My son has no credit in his name and they "played" with the numbers until it fit his budget. The truck was a p.o.s. (worth maybe 2 grand) and would end up costing him over 8 grand. They said the dash lights didn't work....my son put in a fuse. Problem solved! That basically tells me the extent of their mechanical crew. We backed out of the deal due to insurance issues. Would we go there again?....maybe....maybe not. If we do, we'll be a lot more picky about vehicle pricing and maintenance.

Bought a 2007 dodge grand caravan during the summer when its warm. In the fall when the temps started to drop the engine started knocking when you first start the car. It was to late to do anything about it so we still have the knock and two more years to pay it off. Won't be shopping there again.

**Update - I will filing a formal compliant against this dealership with the BBB**I would avoid this place, came to this dealership with all the money I had to my name looking for a reliable car to get my back on my feet, and it's not even 2 weeks later and 250 miles added to the original miles and car that I paid a high-end used price for is headed to the transmission shop first then back to the mechanics. Thanks for ripping me off big time Rivertown Auto Group, I'll make sure I spread the word to everyone I know.

A good friend of mine purchased a car from here took it in for some work, they claim they will do all repairs for half off if you bring it back to them this is not the case for starters. Purchased car in march in June she had a power steering line go out, in august she had a bad front end shake and took it in for a wheel bearing , they messed up the tie rod and lower control arm in forcing out the wheel bearing, they only gave her part of her money back after she informed them she would get a lawyer because of the post it note receipt they gave her , breaking stuff and failing to put cotter pins back in car and changing price from 65 to 285. Stay away seriously she is out 1500 to fix all the damage there stupid mechanic caused. Worst place ever

Bought a 2004 Dodge truck with plow. Paid 4300. Put $1500 into it, drive shaft + front end. Transmission went out with less than 230 miles on it. Bottom feeder. Sold truck for $1000 dollars.

This is not a place that anyone should ever go to. We got a SAAB 9-3 from them n we had it only for 2 weeks took it back to them to get it fixed. Went and picked it up drove it for 2 days and the motor just quit on us at the gas station. They are not good people they could care less about their customers.

These people are absolute garbage. Stay far far away. Youre better off buying a bicycle then so much as asking the time of day from these degenerates. They screwed me out of alot of money and act like its my fault. You people need to hang yourselves, you are trash and you'll only ever be trash.

They say one thing then change their mind after your purchase. They also want to charge you extra for stuff that was suppose to come with your purchase. Very disappointed with this business! Will not buy from this place ever again!

Never again will I ever go here. Do not trust these people. My car blew head gasket within a week. And they sell salvaged cars & they won't tell you about it either!!!!!

They sell people cars that should not be on the roads and they like to mess people over on them sell there cars that have been in floods and they just get them running long enough for you to buy then it will brake down with some major problems and it will cost you more to fix it then they are worth they don't care if they screw anyone as long as it's not them
