After a Coast Guard transfer to Cheboygan, my nerves were wracked when realizing the closest Mercedes Benz dealership is in Traverse City. Finding Patriot Auto Repair was honestly a Godsend. They not only took care of all my GLK3050 needs at a fair price, but also they went extra miles with thoroughly inspecting the vehicle and explaining anticipated maintenance. I m so thankful to have found this business and highly recommend them.

Chad and his team went above and beyond, completing the work way under the expected cost, and $1000s under what we were quoted by other garages and dealerships. Needed more coolant and had some issues with the car. They did a great job running the diagnostics only to find nothing wrong with it but the coolant. We were very relieved. They took us right away without having an appointment. Great place!

Chad, is just amazing and his mechanics are great!! Chad is extremely competent, very professional and HONEST!!!He takes customer service, to a very high level. He is kind, courtest and patient. If you have an emergency situation, Chad will do his best, to accommodate you.If he can't help you, he has other businesses, that he trusts, to recommend to you.He is just amazing. I would highly recommend, Chad at Patriot Auto. You won't be disappointed.Today I dealt with Sam, as acting manager - Chad is on vacation - and Chase as the mechanic. They are both amazing!!! Thorough, competent, very professional and super kind. Chad certainly hit the lottery, when he hired, these two young men Once again, I came away, very satisfied and very pleased, with my experience at Patriot Auto. Awesome.

My family and I were on our way to Mackinaw Island for the day, when we suddenly heard a scraping noise underneath the car. We pulled over to investigate and noticed something hanging from the car. We searched local car shops and Patriot Auto Repair came up right down the street. I called to explain our situation and they said they'd take a look even thought they were quite busy. Once they got the car lifted they were able to discover the piece hanging was just a plastic covering which wasn't a necessity. They removed it for me and checked the surrounding area. The mechanic told us we were good to go free of charge. We were so relieved that it wasn't anything major, and thankful that this wonderful business helped our family make it to Mackinaw Island and back home again. I highly recommend this business for their professionalism, generosity, & kindness. Thanks again guys!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We were visiting BBI and realized that we would be miserable if we tried to make the 4 hour drive home (in progressively hotter and more humid weather) without a working AC. Chad said he would stay late for me if we couldn t get our ferry changed (we had a 5pm - but made the 3pm thanks to Plaunt s). I didn t have much hope but Chad was stellar!!!! And his price was almost half of what my normal mechanic would charge.I almost passed out from relief when I got back into my car. It was wonderfully cool!In fact, my experience was so good that I m planning to base my next island visit on his availability to work on my car while I m there. Thank you so much!!!!

I am on vacation and both my low beams went out. Called Patriot and they were able to get me in right then. They were quick, friendly and very reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend them for any auto repair.

I drove up to Mackinaw from Detroit for memorial day weekend. Thermostat started giving me problems at Cadillac and when I got to town I called and drove it over. The owner, Chad, worked my car into the rotation that same day (knowing my plight), despite it being the holiday weekend. Stand up guy, fair price, great work. If you re in Mackinaw and need work done give him a call you won t regret it.

This is a very good repair shop. They really took care of the special situation I was caught up in. They repaired the car quickly and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Patriot Auto Repair.

Veteran or civilian, this is the place to get your car fixed. Chad and the other tech diagnosed my blower motor issue without trouble , even though previous owners have rewired and modified things under the dash. They get 'er done.

Awesome guy. My car broke down while on vacation, and he was able to fit me and so I could get my family home in time for work the next day. I wish he was a mechanic where I live locally because he is 100% trustworthy, honest, and reasonably priced.
