We had our 2005 truck towed from Shells gas station to my house and very courteous driver. Even told me what was might be with my vehicle. And kind of relieved me that its not the fuel pump that its the fuel filter only. Great people and customer service.

Scott was amazing! My 2021 Jeep stalled in Gaylord due to a having a bad oil change a few days prior, and he was so sweet & helpful!

My Mom and Dad s car broke down on the way back from our Mackinac Island trip. We got an amazing price, and the guy towed it 3.5 hours back to the house the same night - he got in at like 1:30. What a champ They also let me drive my Mom and Dad back so they didn t have to wait for the tow truck to get there, which saved us hours that night. Highly recommend. Jackie was the one who handled it all. She was really nice, and very informative on our options.

We had a flat tire on the I-75 and Scott came to our aid. He called so that we knew he was on his way and then again when he was close. He was quick and competent and got us back on our way.

Often when you interact with a towing company it's usually your day is going wrong. Cheboygan Towing helped me twice in two days via AAA for a car issue. They got my car started, and directed me to a local car shop and followed me so I got there safely. They were on time (or early), knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend.

Tommy was great! I had a flat tire on I75 late on a Friday evening and used AAA Roadside Service. He was prompt and kept me updated on his arrival time. Very friendly and knowledgeable.Needed their services again! Scotty and Tracy were kind, prompt and really helped us out in a tough auto situation! Highly recommend!Service: Vehicle wrecking

The driver was very patient with me being an anxious mess and when he dropped my car off at my mechanics he was called to let me know it drove fine (I forgot to tell him it was towed because it wouldn't shift to second gear) he was willing to bring it back. I'll definitely use them in the future.

Our vehicle's transmission went out just south of the Mackinaw bridge. This company was the only one pir insurance company could find that was willing to pick up our vehicle and my husband and I, and bring us home the 200 miles south of there. Our wrecker driver, Mike, kept in touch with us personally letting us know when he'd be there to get us. He was over and above kind, personable, helpful and drove us and our vehicle safely home. Highest of stars/points from us!!!Service: Vehicle wrecking

Used this towing company to tow my husband s car out of a snow drift as dispatched by AAA roadside assistance. What a disaster! The tow truck driver did not latch on to the underside of the car correctly and caused damage to the tie rods. Despite having the evidence to prove that the tow truck driver caused the damage with pictures of the bent tie rods, Cheboygan towing would not accept blame and we had to pay $1300 out of pocket for repairs. The managers at the company were of no help. Avoid the company for any towing needs at all cost!

Recently got my truck stuck in a mud hole, and Cheboygan Towing was the only place within miles willing to pull me out. Dan was the driver, and was really creative in getting both of us out of a very tricky spot. I really appreciated his professionalism, and I'm sure there were times in accessing the vehicle via muddy trail where he would rather have left.Service: Vehicle wrecking

Bit of a story- I was coming back from a trip on Mackinaw Island. Was suppossed to leave town afterwords but found I had a flat tire and it was well past when most auto shops were closed. Called my roadside assist and they got me this place. A gentleman by the name of Elmer came out to help put my spare on. Told him about my situation and he was kind enough to drive with me to a local gas station, buy a tire plug, patch the flat and get it back on my car. I was able to drive the over 6hrs to my next vacation destination all because of this man. Thank you!

My car broke down on vacation in Mackinaw City. My insurance company handled the towing am so thankful they choice Cheybogan Towing! Mike came out and was able to get my car back on the road without having to tow. We were stuck 3 hours from home and he saved the day!! He was polite and kept in contact to make sure the car started once we were back to the hotel

Had a gentleman named Mike help with getting my grandmother s car towed home and he was amazing. Very friendly, super helpful and patient. Can t say enough nice things about the job he did and how wonderful he was to have helping us! HIGHLY recommend.

January 21 2024 not happy with company this week after all business I gave them in just past year they put the screws to me today Quoted me one price tells my insurance company another price then calls me back jacked my price up again bye another $70 so my insurance had call another company that was 2 hours away from me meanwhile I had to agree have cheboygan tow come cause I had appointment s to attend so I agreed to be over charged and pay cash out pocket so I guess in future I ll be stuck waiting 2 hours cause my insurance found one $20 cheaper yet further away grrrrr GREED IS ALL IT ISService: Vehicle wrecking

Chris did a fantastic job towing my car for me! I was very impressed with how fast he showed up, especially with having to drive through multiple towns to get to my location. He had my car dropped off about an hour and a half after I requested service, was very pleasant and attentive, and kept me updated the whole way through! 5 Stars!

I had the best driver today. Tom was super helpful. We had a spin out and got buried in a snow bank. Tom got there super fast and worked hard to get us out. Made calls to local repair shops for us and got us to where we needed. I would give him 6 stars if I could

They helped when nobody else would. After being broke down on a motorcycle, standing on the side of the road for 4 hours, they towed us with an actual motorcycle trailer with none scratch straps for chrome. Best friend to a biker

When you think about getting a vehicle towed, rarely is it a positive experience. Stress about how much will this cost, how am I going to get home, or will this person take care of my vehicle are just a few of the things that go through your head. Cheboygen Towing eliminates all those worries!! They are kind, professional and EXTREMELY thoughtful. The dispatcher was incredibly helpful. And Kameron - I can't say enough! He is one of the best examples of customer service I have experienced in a very long time. If you need help with towing, these are the people you should call!!! Thank you to the whole Cheboygan Towing Team!

They couldn't tow my vehicle until the following day although at first they told me 2 hour wait. They then charged my card twice! First time the day I needed service and then the next day also!!! Driver had no idea everything was paid and called me at 1238am to find out if I paid or not.

In the middle of a road trip our car wouldn't start, probably as a result of a dead battery, in a very rural area up north. When we called AAA they sent a truck from Cheboygan Towing. The truck arrived quickly, and we were very lucky to have Elvis from Cheboygan Towing driving the truck. He is a trained mechanic, and so even though he was only called to do a jump-start, we asked him to take a look under the hood and he was happy to. He went above and beyond when he noticed that our alternator was loose. He spent 15 minutes replacing the bolt and tightening our alternator, and thanks to his gracious help we were able to get back on the road. Our sincere gratitude to Elvis at Cheboygan towing. We would call you again anytime we are in the area.

I would never use this business. The employees are vulgar, rude, and violent. The trucks drive by the neighborhood blaring their horn at 1 in the morning. One employee punched a sixteen year old in the face and shoved him. Poor service, horrible people. There are better, cheaper services like Carter recovery or Indian River towing.

I'm a AAA member and have used more than my share of towing over the years. The guy that helped me in Wolverine; was funny, lighthearted, jolly, and genuine. He really put me in high spirits.I've met some real grumps that tow people. It's always a blessing to get towed, but it's easier to realize that when you're being towed by a good person.

Roadside assistance called this company to get me unstuck from a very muddy driveway. Driver came and refused to attempt service and didn't even say bye or anything before leaving me and my 2 young children with our dog stuck in my Ex's driveway. It was raining and we had already waited for them for over an hour. Would NOT recommend!

Brokedown on I75 northbound between Vanderbilt and Wolverine only about a 40 minute wait tow truck drivers a Allen and Brandon were very polite and very respective. We were very impressed with their kindness and helpfulness with our issue. Thank you both very much.

Through our own fault, we found ourselves stuck in the recent snow fall in Indian River. Paul arrived and was very creative in getting us out. He was knowledgeable, persistent, and patient. He could not have been nicer and he kept at it until we were back on our way. Thank you, Paul, for being so good at what you do, and for being so helpful to two stranded (and embarrassed) travelers.

Got help with a flat tire on a trailer this past Sunday.Person showed up with just a floor jack and impact wrench. Didn t have an air compressor to check tire psi on my spare tire, which was under inflated!Main thing is that we got ripped off for a 269.00 charge for the service. This was truly Highway Robbery.
