Poseidon Marine/ Barb & Richard Moran provide truly the best counsel, design services and installation that comes with the purchase of a dock system with them. They are informative, strategic and listen to the Client s needs & budget targets. Truly the most pleasurable experience for a significant lakefront purchase. Highly recommend them, and what a friendly, knowledgeable staff they have assembled on East Torch Lake Drive.

I don t know where I would be without Richard and Barb at Poseidon. They made are up north cottage transition a seamless experience. They continue to go above & beyond any time I ve called them for boat & jet ski lifts, removal, repair and of course storage. They are incredibly friendly and take the time to walk you through all your options. Thank you!

We are located at the north end of Torch Lake, Poseidon Marine has serviced everything we have and do on the lake for a number of years now. The Dock in and out every year, our boat, PWC, and boat hoists. The entire Poseidon team does a great job, always on time, attention to every detail. We purchased a new ShoreStation dock from Poseidon 4 years ago. Still like new, one of the best decisions we have made over the years. We highly recommend their help when sizing up your needs for a new dock and set up on the water.

I have been dealing with Richard Moran for over 20 years. He has handled all my dock and boating needs in an Outstanding manner. I would give Poseidon Marine the highest recommendation! They do all that they say they are going to do and do it in the most professional manner!

Poseiden did excellent work with dock and hoist tear down / move to shore, as well as boat storage for our pontoon boat. Very professional, quality and on time service. Front office staff (barb) is excellent!

We just started with Poseidon last year. Our service peviously was delivered by a different local company(will remain unnamed). When prior supplier dropped the ball, Poseidon came through in spades. Looking forward to a long future relationship with Poseidon!

Very disappointed with the quality of work and character from this company. They installed our dock wrong without the proper bolts, lost a piece of the dock in the lake and then when they came back out to fix it were rude and used inappropriate language to my elderly parent who was trying to help by telling them the proper way to install the dock which they obviously did not know( it s not rocket science btw) instead of listening how to do the job properly they continued to damage our dock by drilling numerous holes that were unnecessary even after being told not to. After doing this the worker then went back to their boss and made untrue claims that we said rude comments about the boss instead of owning up to their mistakes. Comments where made to the unskilled worker about the quality of his work, but never the boss. Management then backed the lies of their workers and mocked the elderly customer while refusing to cover the cost of lost pieces and damage. There are several options for dock removal in the area that are honest and do the job right. I highly recommend you use a different company.

We are very pleased with their detailed and personalized service. Both Richard and Barb were a pleasure to work with! Richard did a great job of laying out our dock and picking out the right lift and hoist for our boat. Bottom line they delivered on their promises.

The Best!!! Classy place!My wife and I needed a storage space near Ellsworth MI, and they had brand new storage spaces, we got the 10'X10'. The price was right, and the owners are the nicest kindest people you will ever meet! Every person we dealt with , from the owners to the employees were extremely professional and courteous. Extremely responsive to any communication, in a timely manner! and when I no longer needed the storage space, they only charged me for the 4 days of the month I occupied the space, and refunded me the remaining unused portion of what I was charged! Extremely honest people! I would highly recommend this business. Proud to know such great people! Thanks for the refund Barb, and rest assure If I ever need storage space, or any marine service I know exactly where to go! to Poseidon Marine.

Battery died on Torch lake near the cross. They delivered a new battery to me. I was close to shore so I beached it and they brought the battery through the camp. Expensive yes but what are you gonna do? I m just glad the service was there

We just had our new dock installed today by Poseidon Marine. It was a great experience from start to finish. They worked with us starting last fall. Walked us through all the options from least expensive to most expensive. Never once did they pressure us to purchase anything. I felt like they were there to educate us and left the decision making up to us. So refreshing working with people who are there to help instead of sell you something you don t need. On install day everyone was so helpful, my wife and I must have asked a thousand questions and they were happy to answer each one.Richard and Barb are GREAT to work with. If you want a professional company who treats you like one of their family I encourage you to work with Poseidon.

Posiden installed our dock system today 5/19/2023. It's a big system on lake Charlevoix. They did it in 8 hrs. They were efficient and friendly. Just make sure you stay out of there way as they carry liability and they don't want anyone to get hurt. Thanks guys!!!

We recently bought a new pontoon, and needed help with a new hoist system, and a new dock arrangement.Richard came over, surveyed our current setup, and gave us several ideas for a new dock layout and several hoist ideas!He spent many hours with us, and the final product is amazing!We would never have come up with these ideas by ourselves.The customer service you receive is top notch!!Barb is easy to work with as far as dock installation etc.They don t seem to mind how many questions you ask!!!!

I have worked with Richard and Barb of Poseidon for 4 years, and they have ALWAYS provided excellent and reliable service on my FLOE boat lift system. Their response has always been prompt and effective, with customer service, timely solutions and repairs as their business model. I highly value and appreciate being able to depend on them every time! In Northern Michigan they are the exception, and exceptional!

Can't say enough good things about these guys. They are knowledgeable, honest and thorough. The team was early (yes, someone was early "up north") to install the hoist, were polite, asked for my input and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. I have recommend them to friends without hesitation. Happy to support a great family run business.

Poseidon Marine has been our preferred dock service, and all things boats/water toys for years and I can t say enough good things about both the sales side of their business and their service. They helped execute a custom dock that I designed and partnered with a company that could execute it and installed a new lift. They ve helped sell boats and our old dock for us when we ve upgraded. The few times we have needed service on our lift or if something has gone wrong with our boat, the owner or someone from the Posideon team has shown up same day to fix or look at a problem. Above and Beyond sales and Service. I wouldn t trust our water recreation with anyone else...

These guys are great. A family business that cares. They go the extra mile to get you the parts that you need. They gave me some bolts that I never thought I would need. Very fair on the pricing and know the product well. I would send anyone to these guys. Thanks Barb, Tyler and Richard

We've worked with Richard and Barb for 4-5 years now for getting our dock in and out of Torch. They also helped us replace our solar powered hoist. Lake life always presents challenges, and we're glad we can rely on a local company to navigate us through!
