Curtis and his team at Pleasant Valley Auto got me out of a jam, fixed my alternator and belt and got me back on the road in no time. When was the last time your auto repair shop called you a few days later to ask if everything was working fine? Pleasant Valley Auto did! I am impressed and I have been back. You should too!

Curtis and the team at Pleasant Valley went above and beyond on helping us out with our jeep. The whole saga of our issues started with the battery dying and replacing it lost all the programming. Charlevoix Auto dealership gave us the run around. Tried to charge an ridiculous amount to fix the issues. Curtis was in contact with them. Needless to say, the dealership was scamming us. We took the jeep back to pleasant Valley. Curtis was able to reprogram it. He went above and beyond to help us. My hats off to the team there. Great guys, and they did good work. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to get us in very quickly, repaired everything and got us back on the road after sorting out all of our issues. Thanks so much guys we appreciate it! We will be back next time Cheers!

Way overpriced and Low quality work1) $160 to change and balance tires. (Charlevoix costs $60, Eastport is $120). I negotiated the price to $120 but they were more than happy to overcharge me if I didn't know to negotiate.2) They gave me an 8am appointment and then didn't finish my vehicle until 6pm.3) Told me I need new tire pressure sensors. I took it home and they didn't have all my tires equal pressure. I equalized the tires and the light turned off (They were ready to charge me another $65 per sensor).4) every single balancing weight fell off even after I brought it back to them after I had a couple fall off.

I have no idea where these raving reviews come from! They told my 87 year old mother that she needed 1300$ worth of brakes and she needed to by extremely careful driving home until the parts came in. I asked her to have a second opinion and she has 80% on front and 75% left on rear. Did not need brakes!!! To use scare tactics on vulnerable seniors is inexcusable!! They should not be trusted. Shame on you!!!

Strongly recommend Pleasant Valley Auto Repair.During a family vacation our battery indicator light came on. I called and they were able to get the car in immediately for diagnosis. In addition, they loaned us a vehicle. They found that we needed a new alternator. They were able to get the parts by the end of the day. They installed the new alternator, tensioner and belt and by noon the next day we were able to pick up the car. They really saved our vacation. Everything was done in a 24 hour period. So very appreciative of their service.

I truly wish I had this mechanic shop down where I live (3 hours away) but will 100% use them again when at the cottage. Communication was amazing, repair was quick, Curtis who I dealt with was fantastic AND I left believing this is an incredibly trustworthy shop that isn t going to oversell me on things (hard to find these days) go there with great confidence!

This was the best car repair experience I've had in a very, very long time!I knew I needed a fair amount of work done and they talked through everything with me like they cared that I understood the "what" and "why" of each part. There wasn't any pressure in selling, the service was faster than I expected, and my *new-to-me* used car now rides like a dream. Thank you to Martin and his incredible crew!!

I had been to previous mechanics that made me unsure of what was really going on with my car. Adam who was recommended by my client's husband, was very direct and professional and waited to find out what was really going on before coming up with pricing parts. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for an honest shop.

This place helped me out a ton when my muffler was banging around a bunch and gave me an amazing temporary solution! I didn't have any cash on me so i was told to just find a charity to donate to. These guys are amazing and if you need help with your car definitely come here

We drove 10.25 hours to vacation on intermediate lake and within a half an hour of our arrival the car broke down. We went to get pizza while my husband looked at the car and we ran into Adam crossing the street. We asked where he worked and I told him about my car, he was very honest and willing to help even though he was off work. Immediately I called our insurance and had the car towed to pleasant valley auto for Adam to work on. He knew when he arrived at work in the morning that our chevy cruze was in the lot and he looked at it before I even called when they opened. He told me they were busy but would do their best to get it fixed before we had to go home. He had it fixed the day before we had to leave and we have arrived safely at home. Absolutely wonderful customer service. He found out what was wrong and fixed it in great time and we were able to enjoy vacation without the stress! Would absolutely recommend!!!!

As a newcomer to the area when I needed a car repair I asked local residents for recommendations, Pleasant Valley was highly recommended. So glad I found this place, excellent service, extremely fair price. They go out of their way to help. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto service.

Very friendly staff. They were able to squeeze me in for a diagnostic and discovered the issue was a quick fix, and took care of it in less than 30 minutes! I will definitely use them again, if needed.
