This place came highly recommended to me from a friend and they did not disappoint. Very friendly and more importantly very timely services. I recently moved into the area and no longer had a trustworthy mechanic that I knew close by, so I got a few quotes for the work I needed done and went with Superior, so glad I did. Great work Fred and staff, thank you.

Great people. Very honest and fair mechanics. I've been there 4-5 times and have recommended several friends who have used Superior Transmission and been very satisfied. They do more than transmission work. They will do most mechanical work and do it well. They saved me $1,500 on a torque converter replacement over another mechanic's quote.

I gave 5 stars at first but now have to change it.I had Fred look at my Traverse, I tell him it's leaking oil really bad at the timing cover more than likely. I leave the vehicle there, It took about 9 days for them to get to it, but I can deal with that no problem.Fred says the mechanic said its not the timing cover its the oil pressure sensor leaking, around 4 to 5 hours of labor to fix it, I tell him to go ahead and fix it if that'll stop the leaking. I go to get the vehicle. I pay over 400.00 for this sensor that they "fixed". The battery was dead, and the rear tire was flat. So my wife gives me a jump with jumper cables, and I use a pump to air up the tire. I get home with the vehicle and look underneath it. It's leaking oil just as bad as it was, and I mean immediately after driving it, it's dripping underneath, still exactly like it was before!I brought it back the next day and told them and left the vehicle again. They got back with me around 2 pm. the following day. Now Fred says it's leaking at the timing cover... That's what I originally told Fred, and now he says oh but that sensor was bad too. I have no proof at all.It's very frustrating. It feels like they didn't know the exact cause of the oil leak and didn't believe me when I told them it was the timing cover and the mechanic made a guess and they were wrong. There's no change at all from the leak from when I originally dropped it off to now after picking it up. The huge oil stains the vehicle leaves everywhere are the exact same as they were.Now I'm out money and still have a vehicle leaking oil, honestly I feel scammed. I wasn't rude, I was as nice as I could be. I will never return here. Extremely disappointed

Great experience every time we need help. They have serviced several of our vehicles and are always honest and fair! They do more than just transmission work and do a great job. Highly recommend

I had a transmission rebuild several years ago and it has been flawless since. I just had to have my HVAC motor replaced and some front end work and it was reasonably priced. Definitely recommend them!

Took my car in for transmission work, got a reasonable estimate, went to pick it up today and it was less than the estimate. He said it went easier than expected. I never thought I would hear a mechanic say that and I never thought I would give a mechanic a 5 star rating but he is a really honest guy and I would highly recommend.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Wonderful service! Took my 2008 Ford 150 in and replaced my transmission in 3 days. I only have 1 vehicle and they did it for $2500 less than Ford Dealer wanted and got it back to me in half the time.works Great!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

My mother took her 2013 Ford Escape to a Ford dealership, and they wanted $7,000 to replace the transmission. I called this place and the estimate was half that. This place towed it to their shop for me from Greenville, and tested it out. Nothing was wrong after 3 test drives they did. Fred was very nice and honest. All we had to do was pay the tow bill. On a trip from out-of-state a brake line on our motorhome failed. Superior Transmission fixed it right away and got us on our way home. They determined that the failure was due to the line rubbing on the frame and re-routed the new line to prevent it from happening again. So it is better than new! I wish we lived closer so I get all my service work done there.

FRED IS VERY HELPFUL.GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ADVISE AND HELP.I GO BACK WHEN I'M WORKING ON MY VEHICLE AND HAVE QUESTIONS OR ISSUES I CAN'T FIGURE OUT AND NEED TO TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL.

The guys did a great job on my 2010 gmc sierra. Rebuilt the whole Trans and replaced transmission lines. Turn around time was less than a week and it shifts beautiful. Fred is very honest. Have a BMW and they don't always work on those or have the special equipment needed. If he knows what is wrong he fixes it right the first time and prices are very fair. A good majority of the time they can do it. If he isn't sure he just let's you know that instead of wasting your money changing parts till they find it. Hard to find that honesty and service these days. I take my car to him 1st every time and hope it is something they are able to do.

Very professional & thurough, they helped with a pesky leak I was having with the Mustang, they got it fixed up no problem! The customer service was very knowledgeable & up front about the time frame to get it fixed, price was fair as well! Highly recommended for any transmission repair needs you have!!

My family and I have been bringing our vehicles to Superior Transmission for a long time, and will continue to do so. Great staff, super friendly while being upfront about your vehicle. Never feel like I have to "deal" with a repair shop when our vehicles need attention. 10 stars :)

A couple years ago i brought my Duramax here for my trans and got it "built" currently awaiting word on my Cummins transmission problem. Didnt realize they were a driveline specialist aswell.....this is probably going to cost me some money lol.So I actually forgot to update my review for this place. I CANNOT STRESS THE FACT ENOUGH....the guys over at Superior Transmissions look out for people.I most definitely could have been taken for a rebuild on my 48re Cummins transmission but wasnt. They told me what could happen but wasnt in the bank account for me to go through with a rebuild at the time.I've been saving money since last summer so when it does go out I'll have the funds to get her "built" opposed to rebuilt.I'll never take my vehicle anywhere else. Customer for life here.

Our experience with Fred was more than could have been expected. He did a great job of explaining services pending. We came in with possible tranny problems after blowing the tranny cooler and having that repaired elsewehere. The inspection was carried out without charge in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this establishment for future users.

I just want to echo what others have said: Superior and Fred are outstanding in every way. They've saved me a lot of money since switching to them a few years ago upon the recommondation of my neighbor. It's great peace of mind to know they won't 'bait and swtich' you or gouge you unnecessarily. Keep up the great work guys!

Great customer service, great communication, and great work. Finished the installing my 6.5'' BDS suspension lift on time as promised, and charged a fair price. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have used Superior Trans to service the trans in my Jeep Wrangler as well as vehicles at the dealership I manage. Fred has always been very helpful and tried to get my cars in as soon as possible. I don't have any complaints, I find it hard to believe the person who left a bad review ever tried to resolve the issue. Use these guys. Thanks Fred, Shane

Our shop van was having "ticking" issues that one shop thought was in the transmission. Superior did more than they likely had to to figure out that it wasn't in the transmission, but was actually was an issue in the engine. Because it wasn't there specialty, they referred me to another shop that will service it. They took a very extensive look at it to ensure they weren't missing something. I appreciate their honesty and fair handling of the job. Thanks

I was having trouble with my jeep and even though I wasn't close to home they were extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome. They even got me in and out on the end of the day on a Friday! I was so thankful for their services. I would recommend anyone to go there!

I put in a rear air locker myself then asked them to put one in the front. They were super fast and did a fantastic job with the front and checked my work in the rear. Could not have been happier with the result.

I'm having issues with my 05 Mustang. Looks like Valveoline on alpine sent me on my way 2 quarts low after a flush. It's a sealed transmission so there's no dipstick or anything. They diagnosed that, checked the ecu for codes, and topped the fluid off. Was only charged for the fluid. Diagnostic was thorough, and free. Will go back here for the rebuild when it's time. Soon probably.

I had the transmission in my suburban rebuilt at around 230,000 miles and it currently is sitting at 537,000 miles. Couldn't be happier getting that many miles out of the rebuild. Now I have another SUV and as soon as that needs a rebuild I'll be bringing it to Superior Transmissions.
