Kudos! I was in the Cedar Springs store this morning around 830am with a windshield wiper that fell off. I was unable to get it back on myself so thought i would just ask if they would help me out. Young man there didnt even blink an eye (sorry didnt catch his name)...went out and put it back on for me. I really appreciate it!I DID buy these windshield wipers there in the first place...but he didnt even ask about that!I have never been disappointed with service at this store!

Very bad! Went in to ask for a generic fuel line part and they were extremely unhelpful and looked at me like I was crazy. They asked a bunch of unrelated questions about the car I was working on, which I answered even knowing it would not help them, just to try to explain that I just needed a fuel line connector. The manager was called to the desk and could not understand my very simple request. I even showed them a picture of the exact part I needed. Never got the part. The employee said it didn t exist and I didn t know what I was doing or asking for. I ended up going to a different store that knew right away what I was asking for and got it for me. Never going to auto zone again. They should be taught some basics on vehicles repairs if they are to work at a parts store.

Lost a wiper blade on the highway, pulled in, staff took care of me immediately, very kind, installed the correct wipers and I was on my way. Thanks JT and crew!

Went into store to purchase oil and filter for my car. The employee sold me the wrong filter. I went back to the store to return the wrong filter and get the correct one. A different employee got the correct filter, but the filter was way over priced. I had no choice but to buy the overpriced filter because my car was sitting at home with no oil or filter in it. Once I got home I looked up the same filter on Walmart website. A Mobil M1C-257A oil filter at AutoZone is $21.49 and the same oil filter at Walmart is $10.40

They were great! When I came out of Meijer my windshield wipers wouldn't work. It was an ice storm and I needed to drive home 12 miles! I went in and the guys fixed both problems for free! I was one happy old lady!

Had good experiences here until recently when I purchased a couple cans of primer that caused bubbling and cracking on my project and ruined my progress. This would have been no issue if they returned the unused can and defected the can I used that started cracking and bubbling, however since I d used approximately half the can on a larger area and stopped before stopping when it started bubbling. They did not want to defect the can that ruined hours of sanding and priming. Now I need to redo hours worth of work and keep the rest of this useless primer. Sad to say I ll be shopping at another autozone location.

Sold me brake pads without the clips. Call them, then why didn't you tell me that when I was buying the pads so I didn't have to turn around and make a second trip 40 minutes away?

Our battery was going out. We bought our last one from there and it was still under warranty! They stood behind it. Joseph was awesome! In the heat he took the time to come out and remove and put in the new battery for us. What a great guy. Great people skills. Thank You so much.

Matthew at the store went above and beyond with his services of helping us with sea doo s. He was so resourceful not only did he help us check for dead battery he gave us suggestions on where to have it fixed. Thank you for taking the time to go the extra mile on a Sunday evening!

I met with a girl named Moe who is Ashley from the Big Rapids store I guess is what she was saying and she was in Cedar Springs helping today I tell you I've never had such a pleasurable time in a store working with someone that knew so much about cars common decency and respect and just a good person to have in your business as far as her willingness to learn thing she has going on her helpfulness to customers like I said her name is Maud she's a female my name is Matt I bought a cam sensor didn't understand the process of some of the PVC valves that also come up on my diagnosis that she did for me and she clearly explained it to where it made Common Sense Etc simple fix parts for a little pricey but a simple fix gain knowledge right through her and was just overall 1000% happy this girl definitely deserves recognition for her service to me today and for her service to your future customers as an employee through you best time I've ever had getting parts and you tell her that I said thank you very much it was a pleasure you guys have a good one

They lied about my order. Some girl said both items would be in at 11am. Only 1 was. Then she told me to go to grand rapids if i wanted my item. So i tried to get a refund. After a half hour fight they finally refunded for 1 item.Days later realized i didn't need any of it. So the assistant manager calls another store and keeps saying " supposedly " even with the receipt right in hand.They are not very nice. They seem to always push dales garage anytime we come in. Saying we should just go to him and no one else.I would recommend sparta autozone... Or napa in six lakes. But never this location.

Like every other parts store out there they've got all the basics ya might need. Like every other parts store the majority of the people there know little to nothing about cars or parts. If it's not in the picture on the computer or you don't know the exact correct verbage to use for the parts you need they're of little to no help.

Nice clean place. People there were great had what we needed an alternator. Picked it up and installed it in the parking lot. Fired up the car every thing worked just great we give the old one back to them and the gave us the core charge money back. Great place to do business with and would recommend this business to anyone. Made it back home about 100 miles away and had no problems with it charging after that.

On our way home today from a college visit, 3-3 1/2 hours from home, something went wrong with our truck. A traction light came on and we lost power. Luckily, only a mile down 131 and there was an exit (104). As we took the exit we seen an Auto Zone across the road. An employee (name tag said Preston H.) came out with my husband and checked our diagnostics. He promptly pin pointed the issue. It was a sensor. My husband purchased the sensor and the employee was kind enough to dig into the motor to retrieve the bad one AND install the new one. We were beyond grateful!!! We thanked him and tried to pay him for his kindness and help. However, he would not except. He said he was glad he could help thou. I will make sure to recommend everyone to go to Auto Zone and experience the amazing staff!

More expensive on most than their competitors, if in the event gives u the wrong part and u pay with ur card u will not get the chance to do an even exchange they will put it on ur card which takes 3-5 buisness days then charge u for the other part which is the exact same price!!! Not to mention u have to wait for 10 mins for the manager to get off her cell phone first!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!

Understaffed and an annoying place to visit. The staff member who eventually helped me was very good, but he was the only one in the store with a line of customers (and another employee in the back constantly yelling at him to get the phone, or that there were customers at the desk -- even when he was already helping as fast as he could). It was awkward and clearly poor management.

I had a bad day with my vehicle wasn't charging battery and I went to AutoZone in Cedar Springs on my way home to have it checked and they told me I had a dead battery my alternator was not charging the worker there name Mike give me enough voltage in my battery to try to get home but he said if I did not make it and became stranded then he would come and help me out to make sure I got home so about sandlake my battery died so I called Mike and he came right out and help me brought me a fully charged battery so I could get home I will be forever grateful for him for coming out and helping me to make sure I got home it just shows you that there is people out there kind of enough to come and help somebody that they don't even know to make sure that they get home safe and I also want to say thank you very much Mike for helping me that day so if you stop at AutoZone in Cedar Springs ask for Mike he's a great guy

From my perspective, this store provides excellent customer service.First I contacted the Advance Auto Parts store to ask if they carried any utility trailer fender mounting licence plate brackets. I was told that wasn't something she could look up and that I would need to come to their store to check out the Trailer Section of their floor display.I called Auto Zone with the same question. I received essentially the same answer with the representative asking me to hold on while she checked their trailer parts display. She came back to say that while they didn't carry it, she had asked her co-workers and they suggested I contact a farm parts store.I called back Advance and asked to speak to a manager and he explained he would get "him" for me. A woman with the same sounding voice as the woman I had spoken to originally picked up the call asking how she could help. I said are you the manager? "She" said yes. Hummmm.... We did some back and forth as I explained the original call and my disappointment in the customer service I was originally provided. I received no real apology.I did call back Auto Zone to tell them that I appreciated the customer service I had received from them.

First the bad. Has terrible electronic parts always have issues getting faulty parts understand that you will get faulty parts once and a while but I had 3 bad tps in a row went to advance put one in had no issues after that. Other downfall that autozone has is the people behind the counter never seem to know parts that well or as much as I would expect about carsNow the good. Some of the best warranties on brake parts and mechanical parts always seem to be decent quality and most in stock.
