This was my first time at Canton Garage!! Everything was so professional and quick. I called ahead and got a quote from Tony and I was charged exactly what he quoted. After the service I got a detailed list of recommendations for future service and Tony took the time to explain each one. I also appreciated the ride to/from the shop. Tony and his staff made everything easy from start to finish.

I took my Ford Edge here for a broken axle, and they quoted me a very fair price. The work was finished quickly and my edge looks and runs great! I will definitely be a returning customer. Tony was very helpful!

The Detroit Garage saved my vacation, and potentially my life. I noticed on a Friday before a vacation that my front left of my vehicle was making noises. And when driving I heard a piece fall off my vehicle. I was supposed to leave for my vacation the day after so I really was in a rush to get it checked out.While a lot of other mechanics were busy and understandably could not fit me in. The Detroit Garage of Canton was able to right away. They figured out the issue and fixed it that day. It was my brakes. If I would have drove my car on my trip there was a good chance I would not have been able to stop for an emergency or for people cutting me off etc. On my way home someone got into an accident in front of me and without the new brakes I might have been in that accident myselfSo I cannot recommend them enough. The staff are friendly, helpful and reasonable. I will for sure be going back to them in the future and plan on making an appointment soon.Thank you Tony and staff!

Went in for an oil change and they told me I needed new brakes and rotors for a total price of $1100.Took the brake pads off and they looked completely fine along with the rotors. The only problem was a small clip scratching the pad, which they either didn t want to take 10 seconds to fix or put it on incorrectly when they took the pads off.The brakes were just changed recently (10-20k miles ago) and still have at least 30k miles left.

This business has created a culture of hospitality. My initial experience was both warm and very welcoming. They displayed a genuine level of care throughout the entire process. Once the work was complete, they went the extra mile by following up with me to ensure that I was satisfied with the results. Indeed, I m very satisfied and I highly recommend this business.

When the transmission on my car died, I was dreading having to shop for another vehicle.However.The Detroit Garage - Canton went out of their way to make sure I didn't have to buy a new car. After the diagnostic was performed, they found a bulletin GM (I have a Chevy Spark) issued that states that if a transmission fails on *specific* model years, it is to be replaced at no cost to the customer. They told me to take it to the closest Chevy dealership, and it should be taken care of.They didn't have to go out of their way to find that bulletin for me. It says a lot about their ethics - they could've simply told me I had to replace the transmission, but instead, they helped me out of a tight spot. I got a brand-new transmission from the vehicle manufacturer for free because a decent human being at The Detroit Garage decided to be the world's best mechanic.

I happened upon The Detroit Garage because my regular establishment wasn t open when I called this morning! Let me tell you I am a customer for life! Tony was so friendly when I called, when I got to the shop he took my car right inside the garage. He was very honest with me! This place is absolutely 5 I will always service my car here from now on! I m recommending my family & friends to The Detroit Garage thanks Tony you re the best.

Tony provided exceptional service and went above and beyond!! Same day service and he went out of his way to order a part I needed (called several places to make sure I got it the same day). Very personable - HIGHLY recommended! I ll definitely be coming back.

I had issues with my car, took it to several shops that said "it's probably the transmission" eek. My son took my car to THE DETROIT GARAGE (CANTON). The guys there did a thorough dignostic... It was NOT my transmission :). The shop sent real time updates via text. The process was STRESS FREE. They are TOP NOTCH!!

I ve tried two different times to get an appointment with the Canton location by filling out their online appointment scheduler. Both times it said they d get back to me, but they never did. I m not sure why they waste so much money sending coupons to my house since they don t seem to care about scheduling people.On the bright side, Midas did a great job with my car. They got me in the very next day and actually emailed me as soon as they got my request.EDIT: Nice try, but no. You already told me you couldn t review appointment requests from when I first tried to set one up. Remember, you changed your system? But now you suddenly want me to believe that you can? Sure.Also, I NEVER received anything from Detroit Garage the first time I tried to schedule an appointment. No email, nothing in my spam, no phone calls, etc. But I can see now how you run your business, and I will NEVER try to schedule with you ever again.

Tony at the Canton location took great care of my car. He was always very detailed in his communication with me and they know to pull the technician service bulletin on the issues that certain car makes and models are having. The Ford dealer wanted to charge me $6000 to pull apart my transmission, the Detroit garage followed the service bulletin and reset my computer as noted for $350. Thank you Detroit garage in Canton, I will be sure to come back when I need service on my vehicle.

Had my vehicle serviced here for the first time and was not disappointed.They successfully diagnosed my check engine issue and corrected the problem.Staff is friendly and establishment is clean.Maybe I caught them at a good time.My repair was completed the day after my scheduled appointment.If I took my car to the dealership I would normally go to, I would have had to wait a week.Plan to use them for future needsM GraceCanton.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation. I was able to get same day appointment and The service was great. I received a Multipoint courtesy Inspection that was comparable to ones I received from the dealership. I received an itemized report that detailed suggested services. Prices included Parts and labor..no worries about hidden fees here. I definitely appreciate getting great service and not feeling like I'm being taken advantage of because I'm a woman. Thank You Tyler ,Tony and Canton Garage. Your newest customer.

Took my car here and was extremely disappointed. They did an inspection on the car, but never solved the problem I was originally having. I already knew my control arms needed to be done and they recommended it which I agreed with. They discussed BOTH sides in the phone call and mentioned the right side was worse but both needed to be done. They gave me a quote and I agreed, thinking I was getting BOTH sides done. I even said I wanted both done because logically it made sense to just get them both done at once while my car was there. They never mentioned only doing the right side, which is what they did. I would have never paid what I did for only the one side. I took my car to get new tires that week and was informed then that the left control arm was never replaced and needed to be.

Not good. When it's said I want leaf spring shackles since they need to be replaced and new u bolts and blocks put on (I supplied parts), get told a price, then earlier in the day before I get the truck (work was already done) apparently that price was only for u bolts and the blocks and want another $400 for the shackles. Was told I got charged $166 an hour for labor which is insane. All parts were together and one of the shackles was out of the bag so can't say it wasn't known they were there. If I knew the price didn't include the shackles I wouldn't have brought the truck in. The whole point of bringing it in was to get the shackles replaced since that was what needed to be replaced, the u bolts and blocks were just something extra so I still have the issue I brought the truck in for.Just looked through the inspection report I'll call it. May want to re-evaluate how those are done. What was recommended has all been done within 34,000 miles/1.5 years. Also why do an inspection if I never was told about the recommended services even though I wouldn't have done any of them. You'd think that would be mentioned prior to pickup.

Canton Garage has very helpful, knowledgeable staff. They seem on the expensive side but they has some perks that help justify it.
