The first time I went there they fixed my water pump and timing chain. It was an ok experience and the shop is close to my house. The guy who comes in to help out is very rude, not helpful and all about the money. They told me they changed my oil but a month later my change oil light came on so I went to get an oil change and was informed that I needed a new belt. I called the auto center and the owner quoted me a price of $125 and scheduled me an appointment. I go in for my appointment and the rude guy who is usually there filling in told me he doesn t know why I was quoted that price when it would be $275. My name and the price I was quoted was written down in their calendar and I saw it with my own eyes. Frustrated I went to another shop where they were very helpful. The mechanic didn t understand how they replaced the water pump and didn t replace the clearly very damaged belt which is right next to the water pump and they had to take the belt off to get to the water pump. So either they knew I would need to come back to get it fixed so they could charge me for labor again or they put the belt on wrong and that s how it got damaged. Do not waste your money at this place. They just want to make money and they will leave your car a mess with oil stains inside just like some of the other reviews stated. They are not honest people and want to get over on you.

Exceptional customer service - just moved to Canton from Denver and needed tires adjusted along with plates replaced. Took care of my family in a timely and professional manner. We will go back for any related auto maintenance and tire replacement/ repairs. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to this place for a couple years now because they ALWAYS have a Groupon for an oil change and they always have me in and out in 30-45 tops. I brought my car in for my routine oil change knowing my brakes needed to be changed. After my usual time went passed I wasn t sure what was going on but Ken came out and basically let me know that they were changing my brakes in the spirit of Christmas. I had both my kids with me and was soooo stressed thinking of how I was going to take care of this. I cried! I come to this place alllll the time and have never had a bad experience but this tops every auto center I ve ever been to! I ABSOLUTELY recommended this shop for any oil change, repair, or consultation! Such an amazing guy (Ken) and the mechanics are awesome too! Definitely come here!!!!!!!!!

I always get an amazing deal with their Groupon for an oil change. The service is good and I trust them with my car. What more is there to say.

They gave me poor grade oil when I purchased full synthetic. They lied and said I needed new tires and a new oil pan when I just received full service from Ford. Nothing was wrong with my car. gave me a quote for the oil pan and said it would be around $500. Smh lol they are really bad don't go there do not trust what they tell you because they're lying

I was in dire need of an auto service shop.I called Auto Center of Canton on Monday and they got my car in on Wednesday.I have a Honda Accord and they had all of the parts needed to repair my car that day. Ken, John and Chuck took very good care of my car and were kind and helpful.I will return when needed for sure.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement, Battery

I went in because the radiator fluid had blew out a hose. I was broken down and so towed my super clean truck to the nearest repair center. The man who took the calls seemed friendly and helpful.When I got it back, it was very messy, with grease inside the driver's side door, gravel in the mat, and scuff and scratches all over the place. And hand marks and oil all around the truck. Plus the hose was leaking antifreeze all over under the truck when I picked it up. Had to walk back in after I paid and have someone come out and fix it with a new clamp. Also seemed rather expensive for a lose hose repair and a antifreeze replacement. Maybe it really costs that much, but it would of been nice if they could of focused on the hose inside instead of making me a big mess all around the outside and inside. People don't seem to care how they treat other people's property. Worst experience I've ever had with a repair on this truck. Makes me sad to think people just don't care. I caught a nail (or two!) in my tire, so I swung by while I still had some pressure to see if they could repair it quickly. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the person who helped me was able to get me in right away! I was in and out in under an hour...pretty great for a desperation pull-off!Thank you!!!

I took my car here to get new brakes and rotars. They were able to get me in and out. My car is running like a new car.

Filthy and as shady as it gets! I brought in my car for a steering issue, they replaced the faulty part, I paid and left. When I got home I popped open the hood and there was power steering fluid all over the place! The next morning the fluid was all over the ground. I called them and they said to bring it back, since the part had warranty. After fixing the issue a second time, I asked what was wrong, and they hadn t replaced any of the seal, which is necessary when replacing and opening the fluid lines. They also hit my rear fender when backing it out of the shop but refuse to admit to it. I informed chuck that that damage wasn t there before I brought it, his excuse was oh people from Taco Bell park here all the time . They have zero respect for your property and are only in it for the money!Service: Steering & suspension replacement

This place is a fantastic place to get tires and help. As a woman, it is very important to me to be treated with respect and I always was. I got 4 new Kevlar tires here and they were perfect for my vehicle. When one of them suddenly went low a few months later, they found the nail and plugged it for me free of charge. Very nice man who works the counter and great and attentive staff. Plenty of parking. A restroom is available for customers that is for everyone and was clean. A sitting area to wait indoors with some magazines. A very good experience. They are thoughtful, will discuss your needs and help you choose the best option for your individual situation and make sure they let you know they see you in line and will get to you shortly. Right next to a brand new Taco Bell if you want to grab some food while waiting.

My favorite local mechanic! I have gotten so much work done on my car and they re very fair, where I ve been told that I can delay getting certain work done (only 1 set of brakes necessary immediately, for example). I called about a potential issue that I had while in the UP, and they called me back the next day to check on my status and if I d need to come in to get things resolved.

Very nice staff! When I called to make an appointment, I was pretty stressed out about squeezing in an oil change with my insane schedule. The person on the phone was so courteous and accommodating. Also, as a woman, I m used to places like this trying to scam me and talking down to me. This place was not like that at all! No one tried to sell me any weird additional services and the price quoted was the price charged. I will definitely be back.Service: Oil change

Made a appointment, was there a little early. everything went smooth :) Being a female I m always afraid to take the car in to a new place. The staff was all very friendly! They were very explanatory with the inspection of the vehicle and all we came for was a oil change so that was a BONUS! I recommend trying them out yourself if you are in the area. I came here with a Groupon for an oil change. I love that they take appointments. There s free wifi in the lobby, so I was able to work while I waited. I had a few other issues with my car (old filters and coolant), and they recommended what needed to be done without being pushy. I set up another appointment for next week and I ll definitely be back. I am a young woman and loathe going to mechanics, especially as I know I was ripped off recently with another mechanic. I brought my 2012 MKZ in to have an ABS module installed. Counter workers were great. Car was finished on time. When I picked it up, the brake pedal felt unusually mushy, but I thought it was just because it now had a different ABS module. I pressed the brake hard and it very slowly went to the floor which told me there could be air in the lines. I removed the brake fluid cap and the rubber insert was completely drawn out from low fluid. Frustrated, I asked my wife to help me bleed the brakes, which confirmed air in both the rear lines. We pumped the brakes and bled the rears 5 times and air finally stopped coming out. The pedal is now firm.Service: Brakes

Hi everyone, I would like to share the details of this amazing business with you. I hit a piece asphalt on the road maybe about a half mile away from where this shop was located. My tires on one whole side of the vehicle were demolished. I also cracked a rim. The gentleman at the counter was so helpful as I pulled in. Just impeccable service. They took me in and searched on line for a new rim which is no picnic for a Cadillac. He found one and drove to pick it up himself. It's almost after hours and he is still driving back to get me on the road. I mean a real disaster turned positive by great service. Second time going. The workers are nice, friendly customer interaction... but I have to question the service. I went to drive yestedray and my battery and transmission light were on but my children needed to be picked up. Today same thing but the car died. I only drive to the neighborhood school and back less than a mile away and only the third time since having the I'll change there. All I can say is before going here my car was running... now it is not functional at all and just in a manner of days! I honestly believe something was done wrong to my car. Even with the issues it had before, the battery light and transmission light were never on AND IT RAN.Now I am stuck with no car. please reply. This is just too coincidental.Service: Oil change

My breakes had been making the grinding noise (Yes standard Michigan break grinding). I didn't realize how close I was to having my breaks stop working on me. I had been calling around shops for a couple of days trying to have somebody do an inspection on them and they couldn't get me in until the week after. Low and behold I call this place and they say "If you can get it in before 8 (it was 7:50 maybe? 7:45?) we can take a look at it.Surprised at how quick they were, I dropped it off, got a call about 2 hours later saying that my rear breaks needed replacing today. And the front ones were recommended as well because they would've needed replacing before winter 100%. They explained to me why they needed them (Michigan salt, build up, etc.) and that he was surprised I even managed to get it to the shop. They didn't have a firm price set for me but they did tell me it was going to be a maximum of $800, and they even mentioned something about fixing another thing free of charge because they were already going to be down there working on the breaks. Lovely people. I dropped my car off at 8 A.M., and got it back at 5 P.M. on no prior appointment.They mentioned that they were fortunate to keep all their staff throughout the COVID and thus, were able to assist very unfortunate people like me in emergencies (I had a shift at the hospital the next day so it was definitely an emergency) 17/10 star rating.P.S. They are also service workers, please remember to leave a tip! Just as you would pizza delivery, hair salon, dog groomers, etc.Service: Brakes

Don't listen to the bad reviews. I only now take my car there. They have worked with me and given me great deals every time I take my car there. All the staff is very nice and respectful. Sometimes they are short staffed which is the reasons the few others have had bad experiences. If you want to know ahead if they can get to your car the same day just call them. That's what I've done. They do excellent work and are honest about what all needs to be done. I've been to other auto places in the area and this one is by far the best one.

My Honda broke down & I needed it back FIXED & REARING too GO FAST I had it towed at 8am & it was ready at 2pm The staff is Friendly & Professional & Helpful & the Price is Right I recommend the Auto Center of Canton for your cars needs

This is my third time there. I normally buy a Groupon voucher for $25 for my truck. I never had to pay for shop supplies before. Today I had to pay an additional $7.50 for shop supplies and disposal fee. New salesman today, so I suppose they are charging more. I have never gone to a place that advertises an Oil Change Service and had to pay these additional fees. I would only pay for additional oil. In addition, the radio, phone, and app. settings were all erased from the truck. So now I have to pair my phone and program my favorite radio stations again. That was not needed to reset the oil life percentage.

This place is awesome! Seriously some of the best service I've ever had at an auto shop. Not at one point did I feel like the guys in the shop were trying to fleece me for non-needed repairs. My car hasn't drove this straight since I first got it. Seriously beyond happy with this place. The WORST auto repair shop in the community. Ever since Joe Alli suffered health issues and sold to this company the service is very mediocre. I will never recommend or go back to this shop ever. All of my family members have stop patronizing this awful shop. Mechanics are lazy and not thorough. It's no wonder they keep firing and hiring staff.Save yourself the headache and DO NOT GO.Try Monroe Auto Shop (Canton) instead. Ask for Manny.Auto Center wanted to charge me over $1800 while Manny and his crew found and solved the issue correctly for under $600. Although the Terrain may be plagued with chronic issues, I'm looking for a shop that can competently fix the issues ... Like Monroe Auto.

We purchased tires for 2 vehicles back in the Fall of 2019. Great service and great tires for snowy Michigan. Then today went for a little thing like wiper blades. Same friendly service done quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend this business to friends and family.

Horrible experience here. I had an appt for an oil change, i had already paid for on Groupon, and when I went in, the guy behing the counter was extremely rude, and said they wouldnt do my truck even with my appt, as he was bringing back another womans car. I honestly believe it was because she was super pretty. He was very much the douchy type with his ponytail. I tried calling for almost a week after that with no luck. Will not waste my time here again. Extremely dissapointed with all the good reviews they had. Now I know why their prices were so cheap.

I've been going here for years but this repair shop recently changed hands. Went in for an oil change at 10 am and asked if I could be in and out in one hour. Sure you can! I had another appointment at 11:30 in A2. I didn't get my car back until 11:20 making me late, no apology. Didn't put air in the tire that was visibly low, didn't rotate my tires because he said I need new ones so why bother. When I got to my car there was a greasy handprint on the door, I had to go and ask for a towel and the steering wheel was filthy too. Do Not waste your time or money, their coupon is No Deal.
