John was amazing and extremely affordable for me being a widow.I had flatbed services and my driver Rob was the kindest and most professional. I would recommend and I will definitely be a regular customer when needed.

Superb.Dear weary traveler,If you re reading this review you re in need of assistance & I can t give a higher recommendation than that of the one I give for the gentleman & his family that run this place.They were the 4th mechanic I met in my trip, but I write this in hopes that they will be your first & only choice necessary.If you value human goodness. Look not further.Not to mention he accomplished in 1 day what others said would take 5 to even start at a better price.Even offering me a vehicle to use while awaiting repairs.Plus, there s a sweet dog & the cleanest bathrooms I ve seen in an automotive shop.Semper Fortis.

My mini van broke down on the way to great wolf lodge and we were very far from home. John took good care of us on a Saturday too. Thank you also to the mechanic that serviced our vehicle and stayed late for our emergency fix. John set us up with a rental and got us on our way asap. Great communication and transparency. We appreciate you!!

Spears Auto helped us tremendously on our two-day getaway. 2 hours from home and we had a multiple cylinder misfire. It was a Saturday and just about everyone else was closed. I called Spears, and John answered and said he could help us out. Fair price even though we kept them open later than they normally would be, and on top of that they gave us a courtesy car at no extra charge. If I could give more then five stars I would. Completely saved us that day.

I got a flat tire on my truck when I got home and called Spears to change it for me. Robert got to my house quickly and was very knowledgeable about what had to be done. He did a fantastic job all around! Very pleasant the whole time he was there. I will definitely be calling Spears again!

Such a great experience with Spears! I ended up getting a flat tire on Easter and Blaze quickly came to the rescue. I live out of town so not only did he tow my car to the shop, he even drove me to the hotel i needed to stay at. Once my car was finished in the morning, John came and picked me up to bring me back. Awesome experience with a good group of guys!

The man Blaze was absolutely the best drive I have ever had. I drive behind him and he drove straight as an arrow the entire time. Careful and cautious smooth as silk in Egypt if you need a tow this is the place. If I could leave 10 stars I would can t say enough good about them. Will be my new tow place go to from now on in the area.

Spears was prompt and very courteous when I called and need my vehicle towed. There price was very reasonable also. I received a text with a picture when my vehicle was safely delivered to my mechanics as well. I would definitely use and recommend them again!!! Thank you Spears!!

First and foremost, John Spears is awesome! I would rate 10 stars if I could.I was travelling through Cadillac, MI when my family and I were involved in a major car accident. I needed to retrieve the belongings from my car so John picked me up and took me to his lot where my vehicle was towed. It took me nearly an hour to completely empty my vehicle of its contents and John waited patiently while I loaded everything into his truck. John loaned me his personal truck for the evening while I waited for transportation to return home.John and the folks at Spears Auto are the kind of people you want helping you out on your worst day, or any day for that matter. John had just met me and gave me the keys to his own truck. His act of generosity and kindness was incredible. I will never forget it. John is a salt of the earth kind of man and the world needs more people like him! Thank you again for your help, Sir!

Saw a 2011 dodge caliber. 3000 cash not expecting perfect not even expecting good just ok needs some tlc. Called up talked to some girl who told me that it was in good condition nothing mechanically wrong with it just small and higher miles and may need newer tires. Drive 2 hours to see a beautiful looking car on the outside. But a mechanical nightmare underneath. Both front struts and all around suspension was absolutely shot hit a small but leaving their parking lot and it sounded like I just jumped the car 15ft in the air. There was absolutely no break life left and rotors were gouged. Walked in and told the girl at the front these issues ( and by now I had no plan to buy it) her response was hmmm weird well I'm not gonna lower the price I'll just fix it and sell it( which we all know they'll trick some poor dude into it)Wasn't looking for perfect just honesty

If I could give zero stars I would. Never heard of a company spreading false rumors and stirring up drama around town that not only wasn t true, but was about the victim in an accident. Not even a driver nor someone who owned a vehicle involved. No apology was offered when that was all that was requested so it s left me with no choice but to get the law involved.. This place should not be open because they clearly don t care about people.

Daughter and I broke down on side of road, spears came quickly, John changed our tire in 5 minutes! Was so very nice! We had trouble starting our car, he fixed that too! Told us key Bob battery needed changed showed us a trick to get it started! Followed us to gas station, told us it all looks good with a thumbs up! We sincerely felt as if he cared! Will only use spears from now on! Hubby is going to get his air conditioner charged there! Hubby was very happy a caring kind person as John cared for us while he was working out of town.It s nice to have a business in town that cares for people! Old fashioned values! We re telling everyone how honest, reliable, and what nice folks own Spears auto & towing! We need values back! Thank-you!

I have been in Car Business for 40 plus years, so buying a vehicle from an small independent dealer usually ends in disaster. Not with Jon Spears, Super Straight Shooter, The whole experience was the smooth and Simple. As a matter of fact "Max" the German Shepherd should get the commission for sale, He went on test drive with me. Thank you for good Deal.

My keys were locked in my car last night in downtown TC and Chris came out to help. To say the least, I'm thankful for his help and positive attitude. It hasn't rained in a month and was absolutely down pouring. He suggested I wait inside with my family and that he would take care of it. I tried to help where I could as a result of the weather but he knocked out the whole process and didn't complain a touch. Really appreciate the great service!

Brandon was absolutely amazing. He responded quickly when I was stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire. He was very polite, professional, and he made sure I was back on the road in minutes. I will definitely use this company again not for just my roadside needs but other automotive needs. I highly recommend Spears.

I can't say enough good about this place. It's a wonderful family owned business with a down to earth attitude. They happened to have the exact car we were looking for and in excellent condition. John was a straight shooter with nothing to hide and just an honest person. I wish more places had the morals like they do. It's likely the car we'll be driving to our destination wedding so our experience and excitement will not ever be forgotten. Thank you again Spears Auto!

Placed insurance call to roadside assistance. Keys locked in car very disconcerting feeling Chris called and was there in two minutes and opened my car and I was on my way in a few more minutes.It was absolutely amazing. The service was impeccable so grateful. Thank you!

Best place to get your stuff fixed drove 3hrs from home ended the trip with a u-joint that almost came out. With no parts stores having a new drive shaft yolk. This man took the whole drive shaft out of his truck and put it in my truck so we could get home in time..Honestly the best service I ve ever had and I wish he was closer my home. 10/10Service: General repairs & maintenance

Driving back from traverse city to milwaukee we had engine problems. The Sunday before Labor Day when no one was open, Spears picked my car up, diagnosed the issue and towed us back to a dealership on Wednesday. They saved us a lot of grief and a lot of money considering the dealers tow was going to cost us as much as the two tows from Spears. Appreciate the help!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

If I could give less stars I would.Towed my car 1/2 mile to there shop & charged $2200 plus $100 a day for storage. Final bill to my insurance company was $2800+.
