Could not be happier with the purchase of a Mini Cooper Countryman! The sales team and the service department were outstanding. I would highly recommend Don s Adopt-A-Car if you are looking for a great selection and price for a new vehicle.

Bought a car at Don's after doing a ton of shopping online and having another dealer sell a car out from under me when I told them I was on my way with cash and I'm glad they did. Dealing with Don's on this purchase couldn't have been easier.

Think about buying elsewhere,like Woody Buick GMC. Sure the staff was friendly but I should've walked away before I even thought of finalizing. First off the rear bumper paint was a total mismatch,the paint was all full of chips,and the rims had bad curb rash. Might not have been so bad if they negotiated the price for eye sore defects but they were oblivious to em. After purchasing I found out rear drivers side brake light was out so I went back to the dealer and got it fixed and then I got my free tank of gas, drove 8 1/2 hours to look at it. The 2 things that put the nail in the coffin was a $6 interior map light bulb that they couldn't even reimburse on the non inspected P.O.S that turns out to have an oil consumption issue,over a quart in less than 550 miles. What a fine purchase for my oldest daughters 1st vehicle. Needless to say I didn't go back and buy my youngest daughter's 1st vehicle from Don's adopt a car, bought from Woody Buick GMC,but I would've liked to have gone to Don's. The only thing that worked out is that Matt actually followed through with getting me the updated navigation map that wasn't with the vehicle at the time. Even though it wasn't their fault I purchased a chipped up oil consuming car I'll make sure my dad doesn't follow through buying from Don's adopt a car and they lost out on me purchasing a vehicle for my youngest and a different vehicle for me next year.

Not like they used to be. Purchased a fourth vehicle from them last year. Within a month, I had some problems with it and rust started showing. When I went back I was told by the service manager " what do you expect when you buy a used vehicle ". Also, at purchase time asked for a price for snow tires. The price I was given was over $100 more than tire stores in town.

I have purchased and also referred friends to Don's in the past so for my next purchase I went back to Don's.Test drove a truck that was a mess and began to have CEL flash 5 minutes into the test drive. Return and ask what other trucks you have on the lot - pick another option run numbers and was told that I'd get a call when the truck was available. Still waiting after more than a month no call. Guess everyone is too busy to bother making a sale. Ended up purchasing a really nice truck else where. Not sure what to think about this place now. Every since the pandemic seems standards in business practices everywhere have been a last priority.I guess this line of business is non exempt.

Just purchased a vehicle. They were very accommodating and kind. They had good Covid protection measures in place, and were scheduling appointments only. Not pushy at all. Being a woman, I felt very comfortable. Most cars are well below blue book, they do not work on commission. They were not willing to negotiate price which was alright...got a good deal!! Highly recommend for newer used vehicles.

I have had issues with getting my plate, registration, and/or title I have caught Amber in several lies concerning the SOS being closed when they were actually open. For some reason this dealership insist that the plate be mailed and/or given to them first and then they forward it onto you which is not the normal practice. She has claimed that my plate and registration has been mailed to me but I have yet to receive it. I have tried to reach out and find out where it actually is and verification that it was mailed and I have received no answer. At this point I could not in good conscience recommend this dealership nor will I return in the future. I am just praying my stuff shows up as my temporary plate expires today!

I have bought two vehicles now from Don's, and it has been a pleasure both times! Their staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help. As others have stated they do not work on commission so there is no pressure when going to look at vehicles. The service department is very knowledgeable and helpful, and can provide good insight when an opinion is needed. Vehicle prices always seem fair. I personally do not think you can go wrong doing business with Don's. I know I will be coming back, whether for service, or when looking for new vehicles. Thank you for all of your time and help!

We purchased a Ford Expedition with low miles from Don s. The Truck was a hot item and we called quickly and put money down to hold it while we drove up to Cadillac. We live in Holland and because of the distance, they kindly waited past hours to help us to look at the truck. That was amazing, because they didn t have to do that. We bought the truck, but arranged to pick it up a week later. Don s cleaned the truck up, super clean and had it running for us when we got there. Amber, who sold the car to us, was kind and made making the deal so easy. Since buying the truck, we had some minor issues, however, Don s went above and beyond to help to make sure the truck kept working. They emailed and called us and genuinely cared. Their mechanic is amazing and their general manager, Matt, is a straight shooter who can make sure you re treated like a welcomed customer. If you are going to buy a used vehicle, their isn t a better place than Don s Adopt A Car and we will look their for any future cars.

Coming from a larger city where the dealerships like to lay on the pressure, Don's was Adopt A Car was really refreshing. I told them about the vehicle I wanted and it was waiting for me to test drive when I got there at the price listed. Not an ounce of pressure to buy this or any other vehicle on the lot. Everything was above board. I wanted to buy it then but it still needed to go through mechanical inspection and if anything was found out of order they would fix it and sell it at the same agreed price. Best car buying experience I ever had.

Bought a 2011 Ford Escape and could't be happier! Have driven several hundred miles with it. Car had LOW miles and looked like new. Amber and the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. Now my wife is buying a car from them! Many thanks to Don's Adopt A Car!!

I found a car I had to have at Don's Adopt A Car. I had been searching online for several weeks close to home and hadn't found anything. I live in northwest Illinois and expanded my search to include MI. I inquired via email thinking that it would take awhile to get a response. Within minutes I got an email from Matt. He answered all my questions. And if I had a question and he wasn't available, I got a response from Amber. What a great team they are! We communicated over several days and I was able to get my financing done by applying through their website, to comply with using an in-state lender. With my financing in place, I made the decision to make the trip to buy the car. It was five and a half hours each way. My husband and I took the car for a test drive and immediately fell in love with it. We got back to the office and signed the paperwork. Matt then took the paperwork to the DMV to get that all taken care of for us, since we lived out of state. In just over an hour we were on our way. I would highly recommend Don's Adopt A Car for your auto needs!!! Great prices and great service...

Very pleased with my recent purchase. I live out of state and they made the buying process very easy. They addressed concerns I had with my vehicle and even went above and beyond with an issue I had within the first week of ownership. They do not work on commissions so I felt the prices were very reflective of that. I will recommend them and do business again in the future with them.

We've bought 5 vehicles here and two being lemons , this last one I purchased has been one problem after another, thank goodness for the Gov't stimulus checks, every cent went into repairs on the 2010 Jeep and still costing me, not minor stuff , majorstuff if not fixed is unsafe to drive. This vehicle was hardly Inspected before sold after bought at auction in Ontario, everything bent causing wheels to wear bad on inside from previous owner being pulled from ditch or whatever per Sad thing is while paying repairs I still owe on Vehicle .. Would I buy from again ? No...

The prices are reasonable. The cars are very nice. The help you get is fantastic! I'm totally happy with the car I bought from Don's Adopt a Car. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a nice dependable car.

We had a great experience at Don's. The young salesman was very friendly and attentive. The salesman do not work on commission and definitely are not pushy or overbearing. I ended up buying a truck from then today and I was happy with every aspect of the process. Highly recommend!! Thank you, Josh!

Would rate negative stars if I could. Second vehicle I bought, both needing work shortly have the "30 day warranty" this time I'm out $400 and an oil pan with no way to get back and fourth to work. Highly highly highly recommend you look elsewhere for a used or pre-owned vehicle. Save yourself the headache and don't stop.

Very disappointed in my purchase. Dons was not transparent about my car. I bought a low mileage Jeep with supposedly no problems. I was told that they installed a brand new cruise system yet my cruise has never worked, during the first 5 months of owning I had several electrical issues that I finally had to take care of, in which I had to get the entire car rewired because whoever worked on it last (presumably dons) did it incorrectly. I tried to relay problems to the staff in my first few months of owning because it was under warranty and was passed around from sales to service and nobody ever called me back whenever I would call. Very disappointed. Be wary.

Don s truly does car shopping and repairs the right way! I just had some minor sensor repairs done with no charge because I had just purchased my vehicle from them. They have been a huge blessing to every single one of my family members that has bought a car from them!! Thank you Don s and keep up the wonderful work!!

1 star because I can t rate with zero stars. My wife and I purchased a 2010 Buick Enclave for about $14k with 71k miles. When we went to pick it up we notice the ac wasn t blowing cold now, so we ended up leaving it for a few days and taking our old vehicle home.We picked it up after they said it had a bad ac compressor so they put a new one in and it s blowing cold now. The 1st day after getting the 2010 Buick Enclave we were Driving for an hour (of the hour and half drive home) when the check engine light comes on. That was after we realized the DVD player also isn t working, with witch we were kinda disappointed as were the kids. So we were like what ever we will just have to get the dvd player fixed, but with the check engine light coming on an hour after picking up the vehicle we were mad. After talking with them they said we could bring it back and they would fix the DVD player and the check engine light. We were on the way to Don s Adopt A Car when the 2010 Buick Enclave started shaking and that s the last straw for us.1) ac doesn t blow cold(leave it)5-31-192)ac fixed - dvd player doesn t work and check engine light comes on(picked it up)6-3-193)otw to drop it off and vehicle starts shaking and ac is not blowing cold(drop it off)6-6-19Tired of dealing with these people and I personally wouldn t recommend buying from them unless your personal mechanic you use looks it over first so you can be fully aware of what your purchasing from these people.Had this up from day one and took it down due to dealing with dons. Now that we have no deals with dons here it is again. Plus now we re stuck with this P.O.S. Up side down and it needs a damn timing chain and solenoids. Thanks for talking advantage of me and my family and I hope to god you don t screw anyone else over. $15k worth of garbage sitting in my driveway.

Low mileage vehicles and very presentable business. The vehicles themselves on the other hand though were not so great. Looked at 4 of the Escapes/Mariner they had there and each one looked to be poorly doctored up. Shotty looking body work that was quite obvious for an attempt of being covered up poorly. Interiors could use a better detail. And the one that was stated was just inspected had a low fuel light on even though it was no where near out of gas. It also pulled to the one side and was overpriced for what it was. Drove 1 1/2 hours to look at them just to be a waste of time. Would not recommend.

Drove from Interlochen after finding a vehicle I was interested in and my expectations were exceeded by Josh, Amber, and Matt. Totally worth the drive. I will visit them again when I need another vehicle. 5 stars!
