Recently moved to the area and needed a steady mechanic. Tried church and sons on a whim and very glad we did. Have been in several times since. They re always honest, and communicative about issues/what needs to be fixed. Especially as a woman it s hard to trust that I m getting honest information, but I ve always felt comfortable at church and sons.

These people lie and over charge you and look you right in the face and smileGo to Kearsley automotive if you want your car done without the games saved me $2500 from these scammers they was gone charge me $2900 I got it done at kersleys automotive for $250!!!! Don t waste your time and money here

I trust them. They have done quality repair work. Also, there have been a few times when they even suggested to NOT do a repair because my vehicle wasn t worth the cost of the repairs. They could have just taken my money but instead they advised me like they would a family member.

We have had many vehicles serviced here. Ours as well as our children's vehicles. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys, and I have, to others. Great people. Very honest, reliable, and awesome mechanics to boot. Extremely courteous and friendly. We have been using their services for a long time, and will continue to do so.

My family been going here for at least 20 yrs. They is the best place here to go to. You will get complete upfront quotes answers estimates. Will always tell you what is most important to be done. You get great warranty for work that is done on the vehicle. It s also a department in there that sells vehicles as well. They won t be no junk cars neither. Highly recommended times 1000. I won t let nobody else touch my car.

This place did not give me a good service, they gave me an estimate and they received my car to fix it according to that previous estimate, and what do you think happened? It turns out that none of the many things they found to fix could be fixed, so I wonder, their job is to find problems, charge for the diagnosis and then they are not able to repair what they found? What kind of shoddy service is this? Is this really an auto repair shop? I definitely give them one star because I don't have the option to give them 0 and I will never recommend them.

Their prices are unbelievable and outrageous. I don't know how these mechanic technicians even sleep at night. I called for an estimate for a passenger front lower control arm on my 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Their cost for parts and labor was just under $400. At $375 dollars what a total rip off. It doesn't even take that long to install a lower control arm. As far as I know. Do not go to Church & Son's Auto Repair Shop. They'll charge you a super high price for parts and labor. Unfortunately many mechanic shops are doing practices as this shop is. I don't trust mechanics as it is. BEWARE DON'T GO THERE. They may not even fix your car properly

I would never recommend this place I went to fix my car and they charged me 65 dollars for the service, then I made an appointment because they told me that they could solve the problem, it turns out that they kept my car all day in the shop and then called and told me to go get my car because they could not solve the problem, for me it was a terrible service and a waste of time. Never go there

Love the place. Took real good care of me,saved over $1000 today. Had my car serviced @Midas and they put the wrong part on it, then wanna turn around and charge 1600 to so called refix there mistake. Church n sons dropped me off and picked me back up and got car finished in one day. Midas wanted my car for a week. Thanks keep up the great customer service and car service!!!!

People here are very friendly, and great customer service. They do great work. You MAY find them a bit on the pricey side, may being the key word, but to absolutely KNOW the job is being done right, is worth it to me. (There again, they MAY be. I've also had them be cheaper from time to time, so it really all evens out in the end.)

Great service, and very friendly. I called both Muffler Man in Burton and Clio. Church and Sons was $66 cheaper than Clio and $126 cheaper than Burton. I highly recommend at least giving them a call for a price quote, it might be cheaper, also they offered to give me a ride home if I needed it, something Muffler Man surly doesn't do.

Church and Sons was recommended to me by my regular mechanic. A recurring P0014 engine code was the issue my regular mechanics tried to correct and my regular guys don't do internal work. A timing chain replacement seemed to be in my future...So I took the car to Church and Sons.They test drove it with a mobile monitor of some sort. They later replaced a different engine solenoid and no code.The interesting thing is I was told to drive my car for a few days before paying to make sure the issue was resolved. I've never had a car repair shop do that!It's been a week and no problems.I highly recommend Church and Sons!

Took our car there because it was stalling in reverse. They said they couldn't find anything. Recommended taking it to the dealer. It's way out of warranty. So I went through all the vacuum lines and found the leak and fixed it myself. Normally they do very good work. Not sure what happened. On a positive note was not charged for the diagnostics At least.

Great business! Have used them for years with a number of vehicles domestic and foreign. Friendly staff, courtesy van, fair pricing, and honest. I mostly use the Davison Road location, but the Lapeer Road crew is very good, too.

The entire experience from start to finish was a breeze. Nothing but professional and easy to communicate with each step of the way. We normally take our vehicles to a different shop in the area but their quote seemed too high. Within 5 minutes on the phone with Church and Sons we had a quote for half the price and they got us on the books. The repairs took exactly as long as they said and the vehicle is still running great a week later.

I stopped in without notice for a tire that was rapidly loosing air. They fit me in, pulled a mechanic off of a vehicle to help me out so I could continue on with the rest of my day. They were quick, friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommendService: TiresService: Tires

Just needed a new headlight bulb installed but I bought the wrong bulb. They were very helpful getting the right bulb and installing it. I highly recommend their services.

Correctly identified and fixed the source of vibration in my 16 year old Chevy truck (worn drive shaft u-joints) and fixed an engine miss as well as fixing a coolant leak by replacing the original thermostat all at a very fair price and I had my truck back the same day! Can't say enough good things about these folks! Excellent quality work at fair prices.

Absolutely love this company! I have been struggling to find the issue with my car taking it to numerous other shops. They figured it out in a day, and it's been dead for months. 8-21-13 BEWARE!!! These guys do good work but will cost you $50.00 just to walk through the door. Twice now I have taken my car there and twice I have been charged a fifty dollar inspection fee. Even the second time when I told them what the problem was and they agreed, I was still charged fifty dollars on top of all the other costs. I am wondering if I take it in for an oil change if a fifty dollar charge will be added on. Great mechanics but very expensive and gratuitous price gauging.

Gary in the back is a great mechanic. You can tell hes been at it for a long time. He knows all about engine work and transmission work.
