Great room, fantastic staff. Room was very clean. Mini fridge, microwave, TV...Internet works perfectly. The staff were amazing. We booked our room online knowing we wouldn't get their till late. The staff called us to double check with us and make sure we were OK and still coming. We were running late than expected (due to not really paying attentive to time and distance lol) so they checked us in over the phone and left the key for us to get in when we arrived. Very well lit parking lot, very clean rooms. Heat works! Hope to visit again soon! Then had a great breakfast right next door!

The room/ hotel definitely not worth the almost $200 a night. The staff is nice and the room is decent, but nothing special. They take advantage of the fact that there's not many other places to stay. Something this price should include breakfast at least. Also, you can't barely leave the room at night because of the swarm of bugs attracted to all of the lights on the hotel, it's way overkill. Then, even though it says no smoking on property, at 11pm when my fianc� and daughter are trying to sleep, there's this overwhelmingly strong odor of weed coming into our room. I know it's legal, but try to have some respect for people around you, especially kids. Only giving it 2 stars because it is across from the cemetery, which is the whole reason why we came.

My bf and I was there for one night and stayed in room 201. The was pee stains on the sheets, on the mattress protector, and the mattress itself had a pee ring on it. The pull out bed had dead bugs on it. And both bed the king bed and pull out bed had dirt everywhere. The manger herself was a completely rude to us. I personally never had a manger of any sort be as rude as she was. Definitely don t recommend staying here. We also took pictures of everything it was just plain disgusting we didn t feel comfortable sleeping in the bed. The floor was a lot cleaner than the bed

Stayed here for a weekend at $89ish/night, and while it isn't the most modern place to stay, it was perfect for us. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. We had a mini fridge, microwave, and 1-cup coffee maker. The TV seemed new and adequately sized. Our room had widows facing a river in the back where we were able to bird watch for a while thanks to the feeders back there. The Locks are about 20 minutes away and the Falls are less than an hour. It's a great central location.

Good clean rooms. Basic amenities, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. Rooms are very reasonably priced. No swimming pool, but with all the local beach access we didn't miss the pool. Restaurant next door was understaffed, but had a good breakfast and lunch menu. Another restaurant down the street has a good lunch and dinner menu.

Last minute trip to the UP, called and they had only a few rooms left. The price was great!!!The owner was great at check-in, he seen us moving loaded coolers from bed to cab of truck and came out to see if we needed help, then stayed and chatted for a bit. Room was very clean. Bed was VERY comfortable! Loved the mini fridge. Coffee in the lobby in the morning, also a restaurant right in front of the motel. Thanks for the great stay!Would recommend this motel for sure!!

Nice place to stay for the price. Room was Nice and clean and the clean person Savanah did an amazing job. Would stay there again but the bugs hanging around at night are a bit of a pain. That was my only complaint. Would definitely stay there again if I'm up in the UP.

Seemed clean enough, but way overpriced for what you get. We paid $169+ taxes and fees. I wouldn't want to pay more than $80 for a place like that. It was very cold and when we turned on the heat, the heater was so dusty we had to turn it off and open the window. We were cold all night. They also forgot to give us the extra blankets we asked for.

Been a regular here for years! New owners jumped prices way up. New price does not reflect room quality. We overlook the old bedding and tiny televisions for $70/night. Can t do that at $130/night. There are nicer rooms for less money in the area. It s too bad, we been frequenters for many years.

Great stay. Friendly staff. Clean quiet room, close to the trail. We will be back. Stayed 2 nights. Plenty of parking and a lot across the street for your trailer. You snowmobile right from the lot. Nice location on the river too.

New owners came in and it changed a bit. Haven't stayed there except for the first trip of the year. Prices went through the roof and the rooms remained the same. Not the family feel that it used to have and it's not a $130 a night hotel. Park your sled right outside the room. Restaurant in the same parking lot as hotel and is also fantastic.

After a bad experience at Quality Inn in Gaylord. This property in the middle of nowhere is gem. This room rate is high but the room quality was much higher. The bed was an excellent sleep. You are close to Lake Superior.

I asked for my room to be left alone and they went in there and touched my stuff anyway. Someone shut my heat off in the middle of the night. ( IT'S WINTER TIME) the owner was very rude and told me next time to find a different place to stay. They dont transfer phone calls to your room either. The loby is only open when it is convenient for the owner. You only have a small frig and no microwave. Internet service from their free wi fi was awful. I do not recommend this place at all.

Do not stay at this hotel unless you want to be flooded with political paperwork and attacked if you have views different from the owner. He is rude. People take vacations to get AWAY from this stuff....not to have it shoved down their throats. He definitely SHOULD NOT be in the hospitality business as we felt very ill at ease there with his rants.

I was told my mother's service dog couldn't stay with her because the owner had a dog on site that would possibly attack other dogs so we had to find another hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I could rate them 0 stars I would.

Clean room but in the bathroom waste basket had dirty diapers. There was No bedspread on either bed, only a sheer. Paid $ 155.00 for the night. No coffee or tea in room. A Big Disappointment.

Very basic, crappy little motel. They charge a 3% service fee for using a credit card, which I think is a bit odd. The ower is very proud of the fact that he chases out anyone who doesn't agree with his political views. If I had another option, I would have walked right back out.
