They did something I have never experienced. Quoted me work on my 13 yr old car, that I agreed to pay, but found a large chunk of the repair/replacement wasn t needed once they got a little deeper into the job. They could have easily replaced everything (parts already ordered and received), and charged the hours, but instead saved me almost 2k. I have had nothing but great work out of Diamond.

Thank you everyone on staff for taking such great care of me and my car ! The morning I had to have my car towed was 1* outside and they offered to come pick me up until the tow man arrived I appreciate the text updates the duration of my car being in your care and the many options you provided that worked with my budget! So friendly and professional, you all are my new go-to , thank you for doing such a thorough job!

They got me. Kudos to them. Hope the money was worth it. Paid for a trans fix, overcharged of course. Went back because the repair didn t work and was told the vehicle needed a new trans. Got other quotes. Diamond quoted $1500 more than other places. $1500 more!Did my research and it ended up being at $29 part (Speed sensor)not a new trans. Replaced runs like new.Beware of this place, friendly upfront but damn they will try to rob you blind. Shame on you.

Amazing experience here! I was driving on the freeway and all of a sudden started hearing scraping sounds coming from under my car. Not ideal. I got off the freeway and Googled nearby mechanics. Diamond Family Auto Service came up with good reviews and close to where I was, so I pulled in and hoped for the best. The friendly associate at the counter immediately took my car in back and figured out the issue, which was not severe or dangerous (thankfully!) and gave me a few options. Since I wasn't from the area, he recommended a quick fix and then consulting my usual mechanic or dealership about other actions to take. Within 20 minutes I was back in my car and on the road, and because the fix was so minimal and quick, he even refused payment! Couldn't have asked for a smoother or better service experience. The waiting area was clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with complimentary water, coffee, and snacks. Can't say I hope to have more car trouble in Brighton, but if I do, I definitely know where I will go! Thank you so much!

The team at Diamond Family Auto were great to work with. I took my truck in for what I thought was going to be a bigger repair than it ultimately was. They easily could have upsold me on the more expensive repair but that s not how they do business. They communicated the repairs they were going to make quickly and got my truck back to me ahead of schedule. This has to be among the worst auto repair shops in Livingston County. They tell you they will have simple work done by a specific time but fail to do as promised. They seem to make excuses as to why the work wasn't even started by the time the car was supposed to be ready to go. Terrible, terrible service.

We Have used Diamond Family Auto Service twice now and had a great experience both times. The guys are knowledgeable, kind and reliable. I had my breaks done (which they got me in same day which was awesome), as well a few other things fixed and both times they followed up to make sure everything was going well even after the repair. Would highly recommend, and definitely will call them for my next car repair need!

Amazing customer service, fair priced, and my car was in and out in 2 days! They take pics of everything that's wrong and send them over to you. You can pick and choose what you would like fixed, and they break down the cost. I was a loyal customer of the previous owners and was curious if this new team would keep up the excellent service. I'm really happy that my first visit turned out so well. They were really good about communicating what they found and what they recommended. We chatted together about what was needed and when I picked up the car they took the time to answer my questions and explain just what was done.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had a great experience at Diamond Family Auto Service. My family knew the previous owner, so I was a little skeptical if these new guys could deliver. Man! What a beautiful remodel! There is a waiting room now, drinks and snacks, a TV, and there isn t grease coating the floors lol! Obviously, this had to be combined with good service and quality work or it wouldn t mean a thing. Just lipstick on a pig as they say. But I was pleasantly surprised by Joe, and Chad! Those guys are personable, funny, and they get the job done. This was my first time going back since they are under new ownership and it was a really great experience. I work next door to them and I called them in the morning concerned about my car. They came over and got my car for me, got me right in and out with new front brakes within hours. I wasn't expecting to have my vehicle fixed the same day. Super friendly. Super helpful. Had one of those tricky car problems with intermittent car not starting. They thought they found the problem but when I got stranded because it would not start, I called and Jeremy had someone come and jump the car and follow me back to the shop. Mechanic Bryce researched the problem and they got lucky and the car would not start for them and they were able to diagnose the problem because the check engine light came on. Ordered the part and fixed the problem. Jeremy at the front desk was so helpful, polite and called me when he said he would. This is my first experience with the auto repair shop but I will not hesitate to call them again if I have other problems.

Joe was phenomenal this man deserves a raise along with all of their techs/mechanics very quick diagnosis (2014 Cruze diesel BCM issues) they got me in last minute on a Friday early morning. I just had the most positive experience ever at an auto repair shop. I was having problems with my brakes. I popped in, the guys were super professional, friendly and efficient in scheduling an assessment of my situation. Then quickly I was given a couple of options with pricing, etc. I opted to have all my brakes redone and within 24 hours of first stopping by, the work was done and dusted. The waiting area was pristinely clean and comfortable, service with a smile, I was offered a ride if I needed it, pricing was fair and reasonable. I can't recommend Diamond Auto Service enough--100% satisfied!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Top notch troubleshooting and analysis leads to lower cost repairs. I took my car to another shop (Kovach s) which I have used for years who misdiagnosed a coolant leak. Got stranded as a result. Pictures emailed or texted with a full report of issues. Hi tech friendly service is what you get here. No pressure to repair it s that are not a high priority. Never had better service in the past 25 years in 5 different cities I have lived in.

We had a great experience with Diamond Automotive today. We normally go to the Audi Dealer for service, but the Audi dealership's are not very convenient. I suggested Diamond to my husband. (We had recently received a post card ad in the mail indicating that they work on BMWs, Audis, etc.)My husband arranged to have the oil changed in our Audi A-4 and Audi Q-5. The service was efficient, quick, clean, and very reasonably priced.Later in the week all the power went out on the A-4 (which we don't drive very often). The battery was over 5 years old, so we assumed that the battery was the problem, but we were not sure if it was a different electrical problem. We were unable to charge it in our garage, so we knew that it needed to be towed to get the problem diagnosed.My husband contacted Joe at Diamond Automotive early in the morning and explained our situation with the A-4. Joe arranged for the towing right away. The tow truck arrived within an hour. The A-4 was towed to the shop where it was quickly diagnosed that the battery was the problem (phew). A new battery was installed, and we were able to pick up the car shortly after noon. We are very impressed with Joe, and the service that we received at Diamond's. We definitely recommend Diamond Automotive, and will be returning for our Automotive needs. Thanks Joe.Services: Electrical, Oil change

Rick, the owner, is one of those rare to find honest mechanics. He and his employees have fixed my vehicle in record time, and never try to tell/sell me I need extra this or that. I like the option of being able to drop my vehicle off the night before after I've scheduled my car in, and put my keys in a drop box (keys end up inside the building so extra plus). Whether it's Rick or one of the other mechanics working on my car, they are excellent about calling me to keep me updated. Also, one of the most important factors for people when looking for an auto shop is to not be scammed or price gouged, and at Diamond Brake you absolutely will not be.

Diamond's mechanics replaced rear end differential seal, drained and replaced front & rear end differential fluids. Matt was great. He explained everything well and the job was completed quickly. I used the service and from first sight everything was fine and nice , but after the job , I came back couple times in several days distance and apparently something else and over charge price than the other car repair with no really good reason.They tried to find every time to find another problem to take more money

I was on my way to Monroe when my brakes gave out on US 23. I called a few places but when I called here the gentleman was so kind. I brought my van in and they got right to it.
