First off I d like to say that I thought these people were very nice, but helpful only after we inquired about issues multiple times. Our salesman said that his cleaning ladies are the best around and that they would do an amazing job on the camper. He went on and on about how good it would look and smell in the camper and made sure he said that they were amazing multiple times. I was expecting high expectations the day we were going to pick it up. We went through a tour when we went to pick it up and I don t think I single person even wiped the kitchen counters off, let alone clean the whole camper. The floors were sticky and covered in dirt. There s dust on all counter tops and surfaces. The curtain handles, where you pull them down, had sticky stains and were covered in dust and dirt. When walking through they were proudly telling us all the things they had done to it to fix it, that we asked them to prior to buying it, come to inspection we see that they only fixed one of the problems. Walking around the camper they had also told us that they filled up both of our 30 pound tanks of propane, but those two tanks that they supposedly filled up lasted us 4 days in total. We had to go fill them both up less than 5 days of having our camper home. Finally, when we had gotten all the way home we also realized that they had misplaced our shore cord, it was nowhere in the camper. If you re asking for my honest opinion on this place, I d save your money and go elsewhere.

We bought our camper in 2021 from a different Camping World and had to take it back to them within a month of buying because of a number of issues. We realized after taking it out the first time they didn t fix the issues so we scheduled with Birch Run and that s when we met Brittany S. I can t say enough about how kind, patient & understanding she has been with us! Her and Adam have worked with us on so many occasions to fix a number of issues due to the poor build quality of our camper. They have come in on days off to be able to accommodate our schedules because it is almost a 2 hour drive for us but we wouldn t want to work with anyone else - they are both amazing!!

My wife and I went in to buy items we need to kick off the 2024 camping season in our new travel trailer. While browsing around, a pleasant young lady named Heather asked if we needed assistance. When we told her our mission she kindly directed us to all of the must-have equipment and patiently answered all of our questions. As a long-time camper herself she was very knowledgeable and appeared to genuinely enjoy her job. It was very refreshing to get this level of attention from a friendly employee. This service combined with a broad selection of camping gear made this a very positive experience.

Large store with an amazing selection of anything camping related. Whether you camp in a tent or need something for an RV they most likely have it here. You can also bring your trailer here for service or buy your own. Great location moments away from Birch Run outlet shopping.

Kylerr was the best. Thought we were just looking and found one we liked and priced amazingly. He was helpful and straight forward.Great prices and quality units available. Definitely worth a visit if you are thinking RV life

I come here every time I'm in the area. I live 2 hours away, but it's worth it. We love to camp, and this place has everything you need for camping, whether you're in a tent or glamping in a camper or RV. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. We looked at a few campers there also, they have great prices. Definitely a place I recommend!!!!!!

I went to a local Camping World to look at camping trailers and not one person approached us to offer any assistance. We came home and looked for one on line and we found one but it was in Michigan. I called that location and spoke with a sales person, Kylerr Nelson, and he walked through the unit and showed us the entire inside. He sold me on it so we did necessary paperwork and down payment on this unit. Then it went to finance department and ended up with three different managers supposedly working on our purchase. I waited and waited for a call back for at least a week or more and finally got a call wanting approximately double the down payment and I told them no. They had several or companies to go through for financing. They said they had been really busy due to an RV show. I felt that I had been moved to the back burner and avoided and ignored and that my money wasn t big enough and I was out of state.The only person that communicated with me was the sales person and he was absolutely wonderful. If I had questions he would get the answer and get back to me promptly. He is the only one that tried to help me with completing the sale. If you purchase from there, ask for Kylerr to show you around. He is very knowledgeable and kind and helpful. I told him that he should be a manager and they need a dozen more like him. I would not have made my purchase without him. Thank you very much Kylerr Nelson!! You are a gem ..

Very dissatisfied my wife and I were excited at To be purchasing a new RV At camping world in Birch run After going to the Detroit RV show and talking with a salesman there setting up appointment to go to the birch run camping RV store when we got there, the salesman tells us that he can t give us $500 for our camper. Also our discount that we were supposed to get from the camping show all of a sudden we didn t seem to get that since our camper leaks they wanted to give us nothing. It is a 2018 inside was like new bunkbeds outdoor kitchen. We paid 18,000 for it eight years ago I didn t expect to get 18,000 but it did get something and what they did. They put it all in the payment didn t get our discount that we were promised people that work. They were very nice but very dissatisfied with the sales department I would just recommend people that s looking to buy a new camper to read the reviews what we should ve done. I guess you should just watch what people promise you promises to get broken.

Your young lady at the counter who greeted us was so friendly and inviting her name was Haylee. She was very helpful. Our shopping experience was good because of her, she showed me what I was looking for and suggested a few other things also. A+++++++employee. And Nick Barnella did a fabulous job showing us campers.

Big accessories store area. Prices were not what I expected. They were actually very competitive with Amazon prices. Spent about 500.00 on various essentials for our new fifth wheel. After comparing to Amazon, we would have saved about $15 total. Will definately buy from Camping World again!

I could honestly write a novel about how great these folks are!We spotted a camper we loved at a great price, the only problem, we live in AZ.We reached out to Tim Walsh here and he helped us thorough every step along the way. From our initial inquiry to completing our purchase this weekend.Dave in finance was incredible and walked us through any and all options. He never tried to pressure us into anything and completing the transaction was more like talking a friend than anything.Kyle in service did a phenomenal jobs as well. Knowing we were coming from out of state they willingly double booked a time slot to get us in and accommodate us. Kyle had our trailer washed and cleaned before our arrival with everything set for our walk through. We checked in for our 9:15 appointment at 9:13 and at 9:17 Kyle was ready to roll walking us through our trailer.Every single part of this process went incredibly smoothly and we are beyond pleased with our decision. It was absolutely worth driving all the way from AZ and we would do it again.

Dealership was very nice. Set an appointment for Sunday for a camper got there a day early and was told the camper I was looking at was sold and they had a 2024 that was 20% more. Well ok whatever I was there mine as well get it. It was advertised for 111 for 150 months so 20% more ended up costing 336 for 144 months after some time we got it down to 303 a month for 144 months. The original camper was about 13k the new one was 16k and with 2500 down it was going to cost 46k my credit is average I guess if you don t have a 800 credit score be prepared to pay crazy prices.

Awful experience! After using our bed new travel trailer for one season we had to take it back for warranty work. We dropped it off the first weekend in November 2022. Finally in March there said it was complete . We drove up there to find in fact the work was NOT complete! Long story short, finally in May we got it back! After 1 more season we had a local repair shop just fix the things that CW was suppose to fix! I will NEVER purchase another item from this particular CW. Terrible customer service and worse service on the rv!

This new store is pretty nice! It's at the old expo center in Birch run. The left side is open as a store with a wide variety of items for sale. Hunting (plus ammo), fishing, camping, biking, atvs, and more. There are campers inside as well as a large selection outside for sale. I didn't converse with anyone as it was my first time here and I was just browsing, but I was greeted with friendly smiles and the offer to assist if I needed anything. Recommend!

These guys were great our sales gal Jillian was a rock star she bent over backwards to help my wife and I. She found the perfect 5th wheel for us with no pressure. I will go back there for all my camping stuff.

Please see the EDIT BELOW!!What started out as a nice buying experience, turned into a day from hell. We arrived at our appointment at 11:45 a.m. for our purchase of a used 2018 Starcraft Launch QB17. After getting shuffled from person to person and waiting in between we left the dealership at 6:30 pm. Oh, there is so much to say about this experience. We paid 1000.00 to prep the unit. When we got it home we discovered Screws protruding from the dinette table (they were covered by a large advertising sticker for Good Sam). Then two bent stabilizers ( all four were rusted badly ). The black and grey water tanks were still full of stuff. They should have been empty. Trailer Hitch miss installed. The AC vent filter was dirty. The list can go on. Customer service is lacking at best. Now everyone is polite I can give them that.One last thing, they told us our truck was okay and could haul this with no problem. Well if you figure that with all cargo including us, leaves us with about 100 - 200 lbs to spare. That includes food, clothes, and camping supplies ..not much left for the dog. Camping World you are on our very short list. Let's BBB next and anyone who will listen!EDIT: Although Camping did refund 500.00 of the prep fee and replace/buy us new stabilizers for ones that were bent and finally replaced the dining table. But they did not repack the wheel bearing either. We paid 110.00 for that privilege. I really think they need to refund us the balance of our prep fee which is about 725.00. I still think the outside management is as sneaky as they can be. So watch out fellow campers! If smells bad walk out, or run to your car or truck as fast as you can.

I bought a camper from this location in March of 2023. As I live in CT I expected there to be some level of difficulty doing everything virtually. Fortunately that went fairly easily. That s about where the good part ends. Delivery started the frustration. They stated it would take a couple days not quite a week, they asked what would compensate for the frustration. I asked if they would send me the weight distribution hitch I was planning on buying. They said they would send me one I didn t want at a lesser value. It ended up taking over three weeks for delivery. I contacted the dealership to mention a few minor things that had been damaged in transport to which I was told one of the things would be ordered and shipped to me. I have still yet to receive anything. I paid them to register it for me. They dragged their feet so long I had to redo the power of attorney and they never did the vin verification so I had to get that done as well. Finally they got around to it by that time property taxes in CT had been billed. So it couldn t be registered on their end. Immediately those were paid and I vocalized that, it is now October of 2023 I have lost a year of camping, have been paying on a camper that isn t registered. I have been in contact with the dealership and the CEOs teams to no avail. If I was to make any recommendations DO NOT buy from camping world of the birch run location, or for that matter Camping World in general.

Nice place but when you walk in for a festival and all you get is a coupon and no offer for anyone to help until the end it leaves a little bitter taste in your mouth. We went over the expressway to General where it was a completely different ball game.

Jillian helped us with purchasing a "new to us" camper. She was great at listening to what we wanted in a camper, showing us things that matched, and not pressuring. Also did a great job with getting us a great deal and making sure things were fixed that needed to be fixed. The guys in the shop that did the repairs did a great job of walking us through the repairs, setting up our new hitch and walking us through the camper. Kendel in finance did a great job with finding a great rate for us, better than what we found out in town. We will definitely come back to this team!

Recently we purchased a 2023 Thor Freedom Traveler from the Birch Run Store. We met with Mike Lucas, who is a member of the sales team. Mike arranged for us to look at the units available and we decided to go with the Freedom Traveler. During the process there were some bumps in the road with service and rv preparation but with the help of Mike we were able to work through it. It is refreshing to know that people like Mike, who really care about customer service, are still out there helping customers. If you are in the market for an RV I would go see Mike Lucas in Birch Run. Mike will treat you with respect and get you what you are looking for.

Me and my family came in to purchase our first camper to celebrate my promotion. The blonde girl at the front very nice went to ask me what I needed. Her dark haired coworker assume her boss interrupted her and told her to do something else. No sales person came out to help. Been in sales before we would,ve been fired for no attempt on making the sale.

We truly enjoyed our experience working with Nick while looking for a camper! He was so friendly and truly went to bat for us to the best camper that was perfect for our family! Even the buying process was easy! Used to have 5 stars but not anymore. Bought our camper last year and earlier this year we had a small leak in the back of the toilet. The camper was still under warranty so we took it in to get fixed. After it was fixed we went on our first trip with our infant. 12 hours into using the camper, the entire camper floods out. From where? Oh the back of the toilet, they never fixed the piece like they said they did. And it flooded everything. I received a call 3 weeks later asking about our experience and I told the lady that called and she said she would have someone reach out, but of course... nothing. It has now been 3-4 months and we still cannot use our brand new camper. I have never been more disappointed in my life. If you spend $20K+ I would at least expect a call back. I have been warning friends and family to not come here. They are nice and catering when you are there to purchase. But god forbid anything happens afterwards. They could care less and refuse to call you back.

Just bought our first camper, Jade helped us and she was absolutely amazing. I was by myself with a 1 year old and she was very understanding and awesome with my son! She went above and beyond to get us the best deal. If an issue raised up she was on it and always keeping us updated. We had a short timeframe that we needed the camper and she sped the process along so we could have it for our family camping trip. Couldn t recommend her enough. Definitely ask for Jade if you need a camper!

I went in with my friend Russell to look at a couple of campers. We told the salesman that we were looking for next year and just trying to get an idea of what we liked and didn t like. He was so incredible and didn t push us to buy right now as that was my fear going in. He helped us with my top 3 that I wanted to look at it and his suggestions were incredible if not better!So thank you so much Davis! We loved your energy and professionalism. You were incredible and we hope to see you next year when we re ready to buy!!

Made an appointment on Thursday to see a camper on Sunday. Explained that we were coming from quite a distance. When we arrived at the appointment on Sunday after driving 2.5 hours to get here, the camper we had looked at was sold. They had nothing comparable to look at either.I understand things sell and used inventory varies, but to not be given any notice was incredibly frustrating. I even texted their contact number (as instructed) to let them know of our arrival......the sales department should have had the wherewithal to give us a heads up.The irony is we were meeting with the sales person of the month!
