I ve been going to Jon when I need to for about ten years. Besides my husband, he is the only one I trust under my car. His prices are fair, he is very knowledgeable, and professional. He stands behind his work. If he quotes something differently than another shop, it is simply because he is going to do it the RIGHT way to ensure your safety and others safety. He will not rig something up to do it as cheaply as possible for you. He does not overprice. I searched online for the best prices on Western plow repair parts and decided to give Jon a chance to sell me locally. He had all the parts I needed for my 1990s era plow and his prices were with in ten percent of the lowest I could find online. He even gave me invaluable tips for repair success. I'm glad I went there and will return, thanks Jon.

My daughter broke down on the highway and was towed to City. Jon was immediately responsive, diagnosed the problem and realized immediately that it was a warranty and dealer issue. He immediately (same afternoon) arranged a tow to Kalamazoo without any additional up charges and also followed up with the dealer. Great service and communication. Thank you!

First I want to say that this was the only place that could fit me in to get my brakes looked at short notice for a quote, which was nice. They were also very friendly there. However, either they were trying to rip me off or they just didn't know what they were doing. They told me both of my brakes needed to be replaced completely when only one wasn't working and just needed new brake pads and calipers. They also told me I needed a new wiper fluid motor. When I took it somewhere else it was simply unplugged and just needed to be plugged back in. It was the difference of $800 (what he wanted to charge me) and $250 at the place I went in Muskegon. I'm sure they've done good service, this was just my experience, and I don't think I can go back after that.

John explained what he was repairing thoroughly and I was happy with the cost and results. He had to get the Same part 3 times because of defects but he did this all behind the scenes in one day without any inconvenience to me. I believe he stands behind his work and he treated me fairly.

I had a bad sound coming from my tires and stopped in to have CAR check it out. They looked at it that day , test drove the car, quoted me a very reasonable repair cost and had my car to me the next day after again test driving the car to make sure they had it right. Highly recommended them.

We've gone here for years and have always had great service. John and staff will look into any concerns you have on your vehicle and give you an answer on your options in a timely manner. They explain thoroughly what the cause of the issue is and what they will do to resolve it. They recently found an issue with my CVT and after investigating, they found the OEM is offering an extended warranty for the issue and even printed off the paperwork for me to bring to the dealer for repair, so it will be no cost to us. That shows integrity and we appreciate this as customers of City Auto.

I highly recommend City Auto for the outstanding service! I was for Getting ready to head to Gettysburg, Civil War reenactment my F-150 transmission started shifting hard. I Took truck to one dealer and another small shop resulting in no diagnosis. Took truck to City Auto who diagnosed the issue in a timely matter arraigned for repairs which were completed before I returned from Gettysburg.
