I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I had a different shop try to rip me off and this shop discovered they were trying to sell me unnecessary work. They had my truck repaired and back on the road in less than half a day. I will continue to talk highly of this shop, their mechanics, and their honesty.

EDIT: Owners response states that I did not want to put a bunch of money into it and didn t want to put any more money into it which is false. This was never stated, as I was told Lonnie s would no longer be able to service my vehicle because they lack in electrical training. I was never rude, always used my manners. Avoid this shop at all costs. 0/5Wasn t a fan of my experience with Lonnie s. Had my car towed there for repair (granted the car is not in good shape) they replaced my battery and throttle body for $650, I go to pick up my car and it was having the exact same issues as before. They kept the car for 3 1/2 more weeks before telling me it won t drive and needs further electrical work done. Poor communication, I had to be the one to reach out several times for an update. They Didn t do anything else to it since the day I went to pay and pick it up, wasted so much unnecessary time when I could ve moved my car to a different shop who could completely the job weeks ago. Although they don't take customer parts I do completely understand and they charged me the fair price for my new alternator. All the labor and fees were totally as expected and fair (and close to what was quoted to me). They were fast and kind in all interactions.

They were very professional and honest about the problems my car was having. Lucky for me, my problem was a quick fix and they squeezed me in the same day. I am sure it helped that they had the parts on hand. I had my air filter replaced while I was there as well. The replacement didn't fit correctly but they had the correct one on the next business day.Highly recommend!

Stopped this morning with wheel bearing noise. They got my car in right away and repaired bearing issue along with other suspension issues. Got car back same day very reasonable pricing. They do poor electrical work. They had my auto for 5 weeks and did not fix the problem completely, but still charged a hefty price for the repair. I took my vehicle to fox auto where it was repaired within a week and a half and they charged much less.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Derek and Lonnie were absolutely phenomenal!!! Took my car for another garages screw up and they got me all fixed up and back on the road! They are professional and very knowledgeable!! They had my car done in 1 day!! I don't know what I would have done without them. You just don't find great customer service like this anymore! I know a few places that could learn from the employees at Lonnie's!!! This is my go to place for all my auto needs! Thanks again gentleman for the excellent service you provided to my husband and I!!!

Truly great car repair! The guys at Lonnie's Auto Repair were friendly, knowledgeable and offered great prices. I would tell my mother to go here they are so honest. I live more than 40min away and was well worth the trip.

Absolutely amazing. Had my car towed in and they replaced my alternator within 24 hours, even with a bunch of other jobs ahead of me. They are first come, first serve, but they seem super efficient. Lonnie was very straight-forward and able to explain everything in layman s terms so I could understand what they would be doing with my car. Even a warranty on the work. Hands down one of the best car failure experiences I have ever had.

They gave details on what was wrong with my vehicle and even showed after the job was done how the old part was working and how told me how it s actually supposed to work and they jumped to get my vehicle fixed as fast as possible kept me updated and even after doing business with them they told me to come back next week after taking it for a drive they did a AMAZING JOB! on my vehicle and are now gonna be the new main place I take my vehicle to get repaired at for now on thank you guys very much and I m very happy with all the work you guys did!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great shop! Called and had an issue with our only vehicle. Lonnie said bring it up now and we will run the code. Then said he could fix it right then and there even though it was past 5 o'clock. Lonnie is great! I've never had a bad experience with him and I've always been treated with respect. Their prices are unmatched! I've brought 3 cars over there for repairs in my lifetime and they've helped me save so much money. Very honest and will let you know the damages before they start and will not add anything extra at the end. Very timely and efficient! I moved away from Belleville to buy a house and I still will travel there. It's worth it.

I've been going to Lonnie's Auto for about 6 years now as well as my sister we don't/won't go to any other auto repair shops, Lonnie's always do awesome work they are direct in explaining every detail of repairs that's needed and will be sure to call you first for the ok before proceeding with the work & after repairs are complete they explain everything they've done and will even show you old parts to the new..... reasonable prices too, I've never had any issues they always get me together and I appreciate their services each time. Excellent service. Brought my car in there at 430 when they close at 6. Thought I would need a new transmission, but they were able to run the check and tell me otherwise. Turned out to be 1200 to 1300 cheaper as it was the ignition control module. Not knowing much about cars it is good to know there is a place I can trust. Had my car done at 9 A.M. the next day.

The workers were extremely nice and very accommodating as well! I had to get my car towed there to get the battery replaced. Their bays were full but upon hearing that it was just a battery issue, they decided to look at & replace my battery in the parking lot for me so that I wouldn't have to wait there too long and could make it to my shift. Would definitely recommend them

My truck lost oil pressure while visiting my daughter in Belleville. I did a google search and found Lonnie s. I highly recommend Lonnie s. He recommended a tow service which I used. He started working on it in a reasonable time. It was done in the time promised and for a reasonable amount. He also asked that I call him the next day to let him know if everything was okay with the truck. Definitely recommend this business

Never been so satisfied with an auto shop's honesty and communication.Lonnie and his team is honest and upfront with their automobile diagnoses. My whole family is customers of this auto shop. Great Job Lonnie!!!!!#faithfulcustomer.

My car is almost 20 years old. I've driven it for the last 10. Lonnie's has kept it running for the last 5! They do pretty much everything, THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING, and you literally cannot beat their prices. I recommend this place to everyone.

After moving to the are a having issues with my car they not only serviced me fast but recommended a great muffler shop (Mr. Muffler) and had my car running like new that very same day. Other shops would have charged me 2-3x as much for a simple diagnoses.
