Good parking area with, spacious lot, restroom, changing room, and a picnic table. Nice hiking among shaded maple tree forest. Nice clean paths, lots of routes and lengths to choose from. And the best marked trails we have ever seen. You can walk or bike here, no ebikes though. We are glad we did this while visiting the area.

The trails use the topography really good. There aren't many long climbs or downhills, it's an excellent flowy trail with a few fast spots. Most of the corners are bermed pretty well to carry your momentum.

This is my first time being here in the winter! The road and parking lot were plowed (the area just had a snowfall) and it was still easy to get to. The trails were groomed and perfect for fat biking!

Nice jumping off point for use of the trails. There are restroom facilities located here, fresh water, and a great map of the entire trail system. It isn't a huge parking lot, so you might have trouble if you are with a large party.

Easy to find, plenty of parking (might be the biggest lot of the 3 trail heads for Glacial Hills), changing stations and bathroom. Rolling hills loop clockwise is really fun from this trail head.

The parking lot was nicely plowed. The trails were groomed perfectly for some fun and adventurous snow shoeing. Also encountered a couple bikers enjoying fat tire bikes. The place was quite and peaceful with the sun peeking out from time to time. This is a nice place for year long activities.

Amazing trail system.i ran 10 miles here in two days, barefoot. It's pristine to except for the pointless dumping of crushed gravel. It takes away from the pure natural experience. Otherwise, I will crave returning. The suggested phone app for finding my way , was excellent. Very well marked trails. So beautiful!

We hiked the Bear Den loop counterclockwise. Wery nice forest trail, clean of roots and twigs.

Glacial Hills offers over 30 miles of rolling hills for mountain biking or hiking with beautiful scenery during all four northern Michigan seasons.
