Steve, Sarah, and their whole staff is amazing! I brought them my Mercedes, that has had a check engine light on forever, and no other shop, or dealership has been able to figure out. They were able to diagnose it and get it fixed! They were great at communicating with me during the entire process, their prices are fair, they are extremely knowledgeable, and professional! I'll definitely be recommending 3rd Gen to everyone I know! They are the best!

I hired Third Gen to perform a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle. Steve and Sarah were personable, professional and most importantly, HONEST on the phone and answered all my questions. Their inspection was both less expensive and far more thorough than the online agencies I originally considered. Steve provided a written inspection report and a telephone consultation detailing his findings and recommendations. They even reduced their labor charge after concurrent repair jobs delayed the inspection longer than they originally expected. If they were on my side of the state they'd be my go-to mechanics without question. Thanks guys!

Outstanding service! The staff at Third Gen Service Center were extremely friendly, helpful and highly respectable. Sorry my experience wasn't as good as the rest of the reviews. Like the rest, they came highly recommended so my expectations were high. I would finally find a fix for my Yukon blowing hot air on the drivers side. They installed a OEM Blend Door Actuator and I thought my problems were over. For the price they charged me, I certainly hoped so. However, a week later everything went south and I was consistently blowing hot air again on the drivers side.I was shocked when they refused to even look at it and offered no recommendations or solutions. I was stuck with a huge bill and the same problem I always had.I found another repair shop in Saginaw that seemed confident they could diagnose and fix the problem so I took it there. Was I shocked to find that it was just the connector to the Blend Door Actuator that was bad. Just a few bucks to fix it.Needless to say, I won't be going back to 3rd Gen Auto.

We had a couple issues with our car while driving through town on vacation. We called and they were able to get us in right away. Staff was very accommodating and considerate. They talked to us through the whole process about what was needed and kept us updated as we were there waiting. They made sure we were comfortable, even offered to get us a ride somewhere if we chose not to wait in the lobby. They went out of their way to complete the service quickly and make sure we could get back on the road faster. Also had a very nice and clean bathroom.

We love working with the team at 3rd Gen. We sell parts to them regularly, they are easy to deal with and on top of things! I would highly recommend them as a repair facility for your vehicle, great people!

There is a reason why this business gets five stars. I'm traveling from out of state and needed a consultation regarding my 2005 Touareg. After a consult with the team I felt incredibly resured that any worries about my high milage VW were being addressed. Fair priced and very informative. Definitely a trusted repair facility!

Excellent, helpful, and friendly service! Took my car in to get some ongoing issues diagnosed and figured out, after getting the run around from other shops I had tried. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly with me.

3rd Gen Service Center in Bay City, Michigan is the best. My Audi broke down on the freeway in Bay City. Called Sarah and her team came to the rescue. This woman should be wearing a cape. She and her trusted team jumped into action and found and fixed the problem promptly. It was the replacement of my alternator and belt. Thank you very much. They earned 5 stars from me!

I have never felt more confident having my vehicle serviced. The staff is extremely honest, professional, and they take their time to explain everything so I can understand. They have no problems answering my many questions and always give me an honest opinion, as if they were servicing their own vehicle. They have even taken time to teach me things about my new Land Rover. I ve never experienced this kind of service anywhere else. Third Gen honors their warranties and beyond! Can t recommend this group enough!!

I have been bringing my car to the guys here for a variety of services for some months now. I have been more than pleased with the quality of service. These guys really want to help and figure out any issue if it means a customer leaves happy and feeling sure everything is fine. Sarah(I hope thats the correct spelling) is a very helpful receptionist and works great with the team to get you in as soon as they can. Very fair priced if not better than competitors. Steve and his team will be my goto crew for my inevitable future bimmer problems.

I called all over Bay City, Michigan for help with my older model BMW X3 which I drove all the way up from south west Ohio for my daughters wedding.. It was running very rough all the way up, never threw a code for why it was running so bad. I was so grateful that Third Gen was able to help me and get my car in right away, they found out through hooking my car up to the computer that I had a misfire and bad coil pack. Where at the end decided it was best to replace all plugs and coil packs. Third Gen had my car back to me within 2.5 hours. They were so nice they even brought the car back to me. You guys are the best! Thank you so very much for helping me to be able to return home safely!

I called in on Wednesday with an emergency fix that I needed done by Thursday night due to work. Not only was my van done by Thursday, but the work and service were awesome. I would highly recommend for any vehicle services.

These guys rock! So glad I found this place because Steve and the gang are great. I usually get a low-end quote and a complete-quote to choose from depending on the service requested. Even got a ride home from Sarah the Office Manager when my vehicle needed to be left overnight. Old fashioned place like I remember from my youth. The place for oil changes in town, I buy my changes on Rocketgrab for 1/2 price changes for both my vehicles.

This is place is the best place I have ever been too they go way beyond what they have to help u out the best way they can. I took my vehicle in to get a second look at it and the engine went out. They took care of it for me and fixed another car for me and gave me a great deal they went out of the way to help me and I am so greatful. If u don't go here your missing out!

Steve is a stand up guy. He's honest and tries. Granted my bmw is complicated but he goes above and beyond to help. Best euro place in town. Again new foreigner cars are difficult it's a process to get it right. 3rd gen will figure it out even if it's not obvious and takes a minute. Trust this place, they're not out for easy money. They truly want to help at a reasonable price.

My brakes were rubbing bad on my truck and a good friend of mine referred me to Third Gen and said Steve does great work. Not only was I satisfied with the work he did but you could tell he truly cared about his customers safety. I asked for a quote on my brakes and he said to bring my truck in the same day I called, that he d do a full body inspection (very convenient since I was only in baycity that day). His break pads that he put on my truck are lifetime warranty and I received a buy one get one free oil change. His rates were the best around town and his customer service was amazing. An older lady came in and asked if she could get a quote on something wrong with her vehicle that she was really worried about and he told her the soonest he could get her in was a few days. But he still stopped what he was doing and proceeded to check her vehicle out just to make sure it was drivable before leaving his shop.

Our car dealership shares a building with 3rd Gen and they do TOP notch work on our vehicles, and have excellent customer service. Do not hesitate to call 3rd Gen when your vehicle needs service or tires. Great, locally-owned business.
