Typical used car dealership. Tried buying one of their Lemon/Buy Back vehicles and they tried adding $899 dealer prep fee on purchase agreement. $300 in doc prep fees and $900 in dealer prep fees. They do a 100 point inspection and clean the car for $899. HAHAHAHA. Good Bye.

Service department is awful to work with. Especially warranty work. They tell you a part is faulty so you have to buy and pay for work to be done so they don t have to warranty defective parts out for free. 0/10. Do not recommend taking a vehicle here to be serviced. Maybe a pedal bike.

I will NEVER shop or buy another vehicle from Henkel again. It's too bad, because we had two great experiences before. After this last time however, I would not recommend them. I understand that it is a tough time for inventory and lending, however this dealership has terrible policies and management.

i definitely give Brandon Evans 5 STARS he was GREAT and informative, sent me a carfax, asked how the buy back work, asked for documentation of why it was bought back he sent it to me no hassle or trying to hide anything I felt comfortable with the deal and the paper trail that came with the pick up I would definitely recommend to any of my friends or family, if you call definitely ask for BRANDON EVANS!!

Many of their used vehicles are lemon buybacks. Only reason their used car prices are low in searches. Definitely check the CARFAX. Very shady dealer. Be careful out there.

I bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in June of 2020 with under 20,000 miles. They assured me it had a clean CarFax. I m an idiot for taking them at their word. They will lie to your face for a sale.

Bought a 2018 Kia Sorento 12/8/2020 from the used car lot just down street from the new car lot Henkel has. Logan was our sale associate and he did good job with servicing the sale. Was afterwards when things went down hill as they put new tires on but they were Travelstar's which aren't safe in winter plus very cheap tire. Then muffler place they use that is a mile away didn't take splash pan off to change oil to had to replace that. And called them that extended warranty I bought isn't very well received at other than Dodge/Chrysler dealerships. Price was right but after the sale is where Henkel Auto group really dropped the ball

Horrible Service department. Mechanic couldn t hear an obvious power steering noise. They replaced the pump, forced me to purchase a $90 filter for it and left with the power steering still squeeling. I replaced the hoses as I recommended to them and the noise is gone.I have corroded hinges on my jeep. They said 1.5 years ago they didn t do corrosion repairs. 2 people I know got corrosion warranty work done thru them in the last 3 weeks. I went back today and was told yet again they don t do corrosion repairs.Bought a buy back vehicle there. Was told it doesn t effect anything. Tried to trade it in at a different dealership. They offered me $21k trade for a 2018 wrangler with 32k miles because it was a buy back.Plainwell and Hayes Jeep has taken care of me better than Henkle and I have spent about $150k on 3 vehicles there in the last 3 years. I highly recommend you don t even walk thru the doors even if they try to give you something for free! Nothing but regrets!

Salesman are great! Very helpful when I purchased my vehicle. When I took my car to service for the first oil change the service manager was great. They got me in and out pretty fast.

Dan Swanson and his trainee were amazing! They answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable buying my first car from a dealership. I highly recommend going to Henkel for any car needs, they will not disappoint!

I can only speak of Henkel's used car sales. I purchased a 4 year old Grand Cherokee with 35k miles which was outfitted with new tires and promoted as such. I assumed that for this type of vehicle that at least middle of the road tires would have been chosen especially given the price point of the vehicle. With the onset of winter this assumption was shown to be not only incorrect but dangerous. The Jeep had Ironman iMove Gen 2 tires installed which perform as essentially summer only tires. After nearly 2 accidents I decided to research the tire and discovered the difficulty I had driving my Jeep with these tires was a common problem. Any snow or slush might as well be an ice rink. It's not that they chose the cheapest tire available but rather they installed tires that endangered the occupants. I replaced the tires and now have a driving experience equivalent to that of my last 30 years. I contacted Henkel with this concern and all I received was silence. If you purchase a used vehicle from Henkel, assume they took the cheapest route possible servicing the vehicle regardless of the price of the vehicle. I can only guess at what sort of shortcuts they take for systems like brakes and steering.

This is the absolute WORST car dealership around. My wife and I bought Chrysler Pacifica in '21. We were looko g to trade it in and get a different car, grew out of van life. Upon inspection, the dealer informed us that wherever and whoever we bought it from sold us a lemon. That's right, it was a dealership buyback with Henkel, and they failed to inform the purchasers (my wife and I) of this. We contacted them to figure out why this information wasn't disclosed to us. They said they will buy the van back from us. After talking to their manager, he said some rather rude and degrading comments to my wife and said they will no longer hold up to their end.I recommend buying a car from Harry Wormwood off of Matilda before I ever go back to Henkel.Buyer beware of these crooked individuals.

I'd give them negative stars if I could. Wasted my time driving 2 hours in one direction to try to rip me off adding almost $3k in fees to the sticker price. When I mentioned that my credit union had pre-approved me the salesman got kind of rude because I didn't want to use their in house financing. Refused to work with me on the price or the trade in for my vehicle to get rid of the extra fees, but sent me a generic email saying the price dropped $1k the next week. Absolute joke of a dealership.

Bought a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The dealership messed up one thing after another. Making promises that they aren t able to keep. So much so that Chrysler had to step in and right their wrong. (Thanks Chrysler)8 years later and I m still finding out things they promised are exaggerated or just flat out aren t true.Do not trust these people.

This place is absolutely amazing. Basically my mother was looking for a car and Henkel Auto Group was just the right place to buy from. Logan (Sales Rep) Eric I believe (finance guy) were incredibly professional and friendly. All the way through finding the car that she wanted to the end of our paperwork. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Any question we had was answered in a friendly and professional way. The same goes for let's say Eric since I can't quite remember. Professional and smart, very friendly. I'll say I have had other family members buy here, so I decided this was a great place to buy from. I'm glad they were able to find a vehicle for my mother that she really liked. If anyone needs a car new or used, come on down to Henkel Auto Group! You won't regret it!

DONT GET SCAMMED LIKE MY ELDERLY PARENTS DID!Be very careful of this dealership. They are selling Branded title cars and taking advantage of the elderly when selling those lemons. They are selling lemon law buy backs from other states and selling them with clear titles in Michigan.Very deceptive practices.

Numbers don't add up . When does $23,992.00 Become $33,913.00. Let's just say read the reviews. Label your inventory correctly. Honor your work and pricing. PS avoid "Billy"

Called about new Jeep. Salesman was very rude. After a few minutes I couldn't put up with any more and hung up. Called different dealership. Got better price and 100% friendlier.

Beware of buying any vehicle from this dealership, they sold us a truck that has a buy back lemon title without letting us know about it, taking advantage of that Michigan doesn t recognize a buy back lemon vehicle as a salvage title so they can sell you a lemon vehicle that has a green title without even knowing about it, they make you sign a paper that you are acknowledging the issue. I would never recommend them to anyone that o know .

Dealing with Garrett from Henkel Auto group was by far the best experience my wife and I when looking for a new vehicle. He was very informative, responsive, non-pressuring,and patient with us during our search for the right vehicle. Garrett was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were choosing from and answered all our questions. ( the past 4 dealership we dealt with before could not even tell us what basic features were on the vehicle on their lots.) Garrett went through all paperwork thoroughly with us and clearly explained the process. I was very reluctant at first after reading a few of reviews that were not favorable. I am glad I overlooked them and dealt with this dealership anyway. I will be going through Henkel Auto Group for all my future vehicle needs.

We've been buying vehicles here since the '90s, six in total, and my most recent purchase experience perfectly illustrates why. I found a used Dodge Dakota at an incredibly reasonable price and had the usual seamless purchasing process. When I got it home I discovered that it was leaking fluid. My salesman Gale had me bring it back the following day, put it in the shop and gave me a very nice loaner. Turns out it needed some a fairly substantial repair....and they covered it all even though I had purchased the vehicle "as is". This is the exceptional service that Henkel personifies and seems a lost art in today's environment. I will continue to purchase vehicles here and refer everyone that I can. Great job Henkel and huge thanks to Gale.

Stereo typically shady sales. I worked with Bill (salesman) and Melissa (assistant) for about an hour on the phone before driving 3+ hours to buy a 16' Ram 2500 w/39k miles. This was a Buyback vehicle and was supposed to have been gone over by the factory and dealership to resolve any chronic issues (reason for the Buyback) and recalls. During their sales pitch they spoke about how the factory does a multi-point inspection and repairs everything they find, then the dealer does the same. Bill boasted on how motivated and great the mechanics are because they get a bonus if they catch anything the factory missed. This is such a great deal that he even just sold his father-in-law one.Once I arrived the truck was pulled up for me to check out and within a few minutes it was clear that I should have trusted my instinct. The truck had a rear main seal leak that was very obvious and oil drips were fresh. I asked Bill how this was missed because the truck was supposed to be good to go. His response was that the truck is good to go and acted like nothing was wrong. It was at this point that I lost my temper and cussed him out for wasting my time and then left.I recommend staying away from this place and their Buyback vehicles. Buyback is just a modern term for a Lemon.

CARFAX lists Pre-delivery inspection complete. Maintenance Inspection complete. Car is listed online for 135 days. When inquired, salesman states that it just so happens to be in a safety inspection right now. Later states it is failing, and will likely sent to auction. Seems like I'm getting baited with a good deal. Or worse, they are considering selling a poor vehicle. At least the salesman was honest with me. Obviously the dealership has some things going on.

Update: I apparently jumped the gun and wrote my review to quickly. I purchased a used vehicle for $14000 in January with what seemed to be no issues. A couple weeks later the vehicle quickly turned into a sour lemon! Had to put another $5000 into it and it got to where I decided it was nothing more than a money pit and would not be wise to continue to dump money into this vehicle. There were things they "claimed" they had done and said at the time of purchase that they would provide me with all service records. Months later and many calls not only to the salesman but also the sales manager, Todd, I still didn't have them! Was told they would email them. Nothing! I WOULD NEVER AGAIN BUY FROM THEM! THEY SOLD ME LEMON. I feel completely certain that they knew the issues it had and put a quick fix on it to sell it. They are uncooperative and once you leave the lot they do not care about service or anything else! Needless to say, 6 months after purchase I traded it in. I was sad to see it go as I loved the vehicle but I could no longer afford to keep fixing big things! In 6 months I had to have the rack and pinion replaced, the water pump and hood prop. When I traded it in the driver seat motor went out and only one side of the seat would move, the a/c only worked in the back (up front if outside temp was less than 78) and the brake light on the dash was on even though it had brand new brakes and rotors, was having issues starting even though it had a brand new battery and starter, and the transmission had been bucking since a month after purchase. Sorry for the long review. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!Please discard the following previous review:Easy going, nice people, and reasonable price.
