Great place to launch boat, swim, fish or just watch the freighters go by. Cabins are fully furnished and clean. Hosts Laurie and RJ do an excellent job of being accommodating and responsive. Good location to relax and enjoy the beautiful area.

Bunkhouse, aka trailer was bad. Had to go purchase cleaning supplies and ant traps. Limited cooking supplies. We had to purchase baking pans. Beds were clean. Bathroom was small and full of rust and spiders. The people were nice. Rented a pontoon and it was fine. I would not recommend staying here.

Definitely not a typical marina like we were expecting, but Laurie was super nice and helpful. We rented a pontoon and it was definitely old and dirty/worn seats but for $120/day - it was by far the best deal in the area.

We had an unfortunate breakdown and RJ came to the rescue. We pulled up with a boat and trailer and he knew exactly what I needed before I said it. He had us back on the road and to fishing in 30 minutes. He saved our trip and assured us we were good to go and would be fine. Here I am a day later and we made it home. Highly recommend this company.

We rented the pontoon boat. The boat was in good condition and the rental was a good value. We went up and down the channels and around the islands. We really enjoyed the time out on the water. The owner let us look at one of the cabins and it was nice enough that we've added it to our short list of places to stay next summer. The owner also sold us some fresh eggs from her chickens. Overall 5 stars!

This place was not what we expected. We thought we were getting a cabin or bunkhouse as they called it. Show up to a single wide trailer with grass above my knees. Owner started cutting the grass as we were unpacking.Get inside and there are dead bugs/spiders between the window panes and dead flies/mosquitoes on the curtains.Went to get some water and the pressure was horrible. They said they would come fix it, and they never did. We ended up fixing it ourselves and it was still bad. Went to take a shower, it's a very small stall shower. The water pressure in there was horrible as well. The paint/drywall from the ceiling was falling on you as you shower from the pipes leaking above. Went to boil water for pasta, and this dirty brown film formed at the top. Dumped the pot of water out to see dirt like sediment at the bottom. We had to go to the store to get gallons of water to cook/ drink with.They did not have any large pots for cooking, strainer, can opener, or sharp knives. The amenities provided were very limited.We were told they provided pillows and blankets, which they did. First night sleeping went to flip my pillow over and notice a huge drool stain on the pillow case. They clearly did not wash the sheets or clean the place before we came.There were no chairs for sitting outside, just a broken picnic table that only one side could be used. There were ticks in and outside of the trailers. At night you could feel and hear the bugs in the trailer, it was disgusting.The fishing was HORRIBLE! We will not be back.If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

My friends and I have come up to Riverview a few times now for duck hunting and fishing in nearby SSM when the pink salmon run. The cabins are kinda run down and poorly laid out. I noticed our floor in cabin 1 this weekend had some "soft spots". There were hunks of paper towel stuck in the windows because i guess the screens don't fit right. If you're 4'3" tall, you'll really love the shower.They supply some BASIC kithen gear...but you should bring your own cutlery and if you want to make a big pot of chili for your group, bring your own pots/pans.We stayed Thursday thru Sunday and the owners never came by to get the trash we bagged and set out by the driveway or to see if there was anything else we needed- like garbage bags. Some of the ammenities listed fall a little short compared to what they advertise on thier website/facebook- free wifi is included, but they seemed reluctant to give us the wifi password, and when they did, they asked us not to use too much data- as they only get so many gigs of data a month and were almost out. They advertise that each cabin comes with a grill- true, but our gas grill was all rusted out and falling apart.Please be careful when staying here...cabin#1 has no outside porch light, the wood steps up to the door are wobbly at best, and the wood landing outside the front door is raised up JUST enough to trip you in the dark as you try to make it to the door at night. The wood landing also had some rotten spots that would easily twist your ankle if you stepped on them. One the guys in our group works in construction and he says that very little about the cabin appeared to be up to code.The inside of the cabins were musty smelling and have furniture that looks like it was at best aqquired from a yard sale- in 1982...our "Riverview" from the sitting area/picnic table outside cabin#1 was mostly blocked by a rusty chevy colorado and an old work van that were parked in the way between our cabin and the riverfront. There was also an old cherry picker lift truck and a bunch of old boats up on jackstands filling up the property.We went fishing and caught a nice mess of perch. When we took them to the fish cleaning station to fillet them up for a fish fry, we found the pump/motor was inoperable. We ended up having to clean the perch at our cabin on the picnic table.The docks/slips are servicable, in that you can park your boat there...but the end of the dock is delapitated and 1/2 submerged in the river.If you just want a place for the guys to sleep/eat/ shower while you visit the area to hunt or fish, this place will do....if you have kids, wife/girlfriend and you want a fun enjoyable "resort" - you might want to keep looking.

A very good deep water marina. They can put any boat in the water. Another good thing to remember they are the only gas available on the water between the Soo and Drummond Island. I would definitely recommend using them.

Went there most of my childhood, yes it has changed and the cabins are somewhat rundown , but over all i love it . In fact my wife and son and grands cant wait until next year ...

This is a great place to get away and enjoy the UP. Right on the water, watch Lakers go by, fish, or rent a boat and explore the St. Mary's River.

Used to come here as a kid, new owners have really cleaned it up. Great in the fall, colored leaves and freighters!
