Took my truck in two different times for a alignment. These guys are flat out scammers. Actually charged me for tie rod end and alignment. Truck was not even close to road worthy either time after they touched it. For $100 a shopIn paw paw had no problem. I d like my $240 back jackoffs.

Called about an issue regarding a simple plate swap. Customer service was amazing and as someone new in state it's good to know there is someone we can trust. Definitely will return and they earned a new customer.

Please save yourself don't go here these guys are total crooks charged my mom 68 yrs old $800 for a oil filter housing. She requested the old one upon car pickup they said it was scrapped. just looked today it was never changed and didn't need changing. told her she had a check engine light and needed a new oil pump at $2800 thank God she didn't ok them the work I looked at the car and saw the oil pressure sensor unplugged these guys were scamming her I wish they were part of the bbb cause I would report them.

This is a shout-out to Mike from Mike's towing/Dan's automotive... I am extremely grateful and thankful to Mike I was involved in an accident my car was there and I was getting some things out of it, meanwhile I got my other vehicles stuck he seen me struggling and came over with his rig and pulled me out. For no fee... I just want to say thank you so much for making this difficult situation that much better... Means a lot to me. And I am very grateful. I would highly recommend Dan's automotive / Mike's towing... Thanks guys...

Went to Dans automotive to have my ac recharged and my oil changed multiple times. Worth every penny. They are friendly, and tell you everything up front. The office is clean. Dan, his wife Tami and Jake and David are really nice and have great hospitality. Have also used them for a tow. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend them.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

There should be an option for 0 stars. Hard to work with, no communication, rude, and scheduling to pick up my vehicle was a nightmare. Then they tried to charge extra for "storing" my vehicle, when they were the ones who were "too busy" to meet me.

I went to 3 other places to get my tires changed over. I got responses such as, "We are 2 weeks out", or " Yeah, I can do it", and they managed 1 tire changed and told me they couldn't do the other 3 because of my rims. Called Dan, he did the other 3 in no time at all and didn't charge an arm and a leg!! He will have our business from now on. Thanks Dan!!

I had a great experience at Dan's. They were recommended by a friend after I had received some pretty high quotes from other places for the work I needed done. Dan's was able to get me in the next day and charged 40% less than I had been quoted by other places. They were not able to service my vehicle until the next morning because all of the parts they had ordered had not arrived the first day, but the customer service, great price and final product were worth the wait.

My daughter and granddaughter both live in the area and occasionally need a mechanic who single mothers can trust to be honest and fair. In my opinion, Dan's Automotive have treated my girls like family. They have not only been good to them, they also contact me and keep me informed of things needed. And as a father, that's a great feeling to know that someone is looking out for you baby girls. Thank you gentlemen. Yes I highly recommend Dan's Automotive

These guys are great!! They also have a towing company called Mike's towing. These are my go to guys if someone needs towing. I work a gas station off the highway and anytime any of my customers needs a tow these are the guys I call. Fast reliable service at prices people can afford!!

On my way home from Michigan, I got into a car accident on the highway. Mikes towing was great! I wasn t sure if my car was drivable but the gentleman pulling my car out of the median area told me it should drive fine and told me what to look out for. It was a bad situation but his help really made me feel a tons better. I highly recommend this company!

Vehicle was towed. Never told prices until had to pick up vehicle. Charged over $1300. If I had known this per day charge, would have picked up sooner. They even tried to have the title listed as abandoned so they could keep vehicle. Thank goodness the police called and double checked first.

We asked them to clean out the EGR valve on our 2010 Prius, and instead they switched out the spark plugs, which needed to be done. No big deal, they needed done. We asked them 3 separate times to clean out the valve, which needed to be removed and manually cleaned out. It was never removed and cleaned. They sprayed some cleaner through it, instead of doing what we asked. When we picked up our vehicle, the check engine light was off, but the engine still rattled. Later the same day, the check engine light came back on. I called to ask why they didn't do what we asked and he argued with me like I don't know what I'm talking about. The Toyota dealership were the ones who said it needs to be cleaned out, but I don't know what I'm talking about. Guess we will just have to go to the dealership and pay extra money to get it done right. Waste of time and money.

Love my 2000 Honda Accord with all my heart. The past few weeks my front of my car was making a popping sound from the wheels when turning that caused a point of concern for safety. Dan and his team got me in the shop asap and worked in a very timely fashion to replace both of my outer tie rods and perform a wheel alignment. I was back on the road and early for my exam on campus at WMU in a jiffy. I am very appreciative of the work they performed on my Accord and absolutely worth the drive from Kalamazoo!

I received what I believe to be terrible service from Dan's Automotive in Bangor Michigan. I had my vehicle towed there for repairs, only to have it break down on me again a few days later. I took my vehicle to another mechanic who fixed my vehicle perfectly. I filed a complaint against Dan's with the State Of Michigan Regulatory Monitoring Division. The SOMRMD informed me via letter that Dan's violated the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act, and notices of Non-Compliance were issued to them. I then sued Dan's Automotive in Small Claims court and won. They appealed the case and then I won the appeal. Dan's Automotive had to pay me back all of my money for the "repairs" they supposedly did. I won my case TWICE and they still refused to pay me so I had to garnish their bank account and has now received full payment. I will never ever take a vehicle to Dan's Automotive in Bangor Michigan again.

Dan was very difficult to work and communicate with. After he took my car apart I ended up having my car towed to another repair shop, due to the level of discomfort I had in dealing with Dan. The cost to have my car repaired at the second shop was nearly 50% less, and some of the work Dan insisted on doing did not need to be done.

Wish I had read the reviews about this place before bringing my car here. If you have an entire day to waste even after making an appointment and want to be treated like they are doing you a favor this is the place for you. Never doing business here again.
