I love Costco, but the tire center provides the least value. I believe they are more interested in selling four new tires then to repair or replace an axel. (A true 4�4 is not AWD, furthmore its my car, and not replacing one axel with new tires is not bad for a car that spends 99% in 2�2).I always wondered why they always seem to be standing around while a place like discount tire has an army of people working and willing to help. Go to discount tire. They help you not the tire manufacturers. Note the training costco get comes from Michelin not a third party.

Costco tire is always great to deal with. The employees are always top notch, friendly, smile, positive, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Will continue to purchase all of my tires and services for years to come. Highly recommend. Thanks to all, and Eric and Vinnie.

This is one the worst tire centers I ve been too, solely because the workers are rude. Even when trying to get out of the crowded parking lot, instead of helping guide cars around, one was yelling at people and being extremely nasty. Save yourself the headache and go down the street to discount tire. Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful

They told me I could buy tires then come back a week later when they were on sale to get a price adjustment, but they lied about the sale price and wouldn't honor the price they had told me. Their mistake cost me $106 and they said there was absolutely nothing to do about it, took no accountability for getting the sale price wrong, and they fully blamed it on Michelin for changing their sale. I suggested they should stop saying specific prices if they can change, but they still said it was Michelin's fault. You expect a certain level of customer service from Costco and I definitely did not receive it.

Real American Heros! I rolled up in a borrowed car with my flat tire in tow 15 mins before they closed on a Saturday - without an appointment. I was expecting to be told that they can't fix it until next week, but Andrew and Michael took the tire and got me sorted and on my way that day. Amazing, thank you!

!! DO NOT GET TIRES HERE !! There was not a single competent or knowledgeable person at either of the Costco Tire Centers I visited (Hall Rd and Auburn Hills). If I could give them zero stars I would. A few days after getting my new tires, I had a flat. There is no coverage for this and it was a big ordeal ordering a new tire because they don't carry the ones I need in store. So I drove around on my spare for a few days. Once I got the new tire, the same thing happened again! To the same tire! This was not a coincidence. My dad did a simple test with soap and found out my rim was cracked. Not sure why they didn't do this test to notice air was leaking. The rim was not cracked before this and I had no issues before I went to the tire center... They talked to me in an extremely disrespectful manner and blamed me for the two flats. They forced me to pay for another tire, a new sensor, and all of the service. I tried talking with Costco customer service about how much of my time and money they wasted and they did nothing. I highly recommend avoiding Costco tire centers at all costs :)

First time buying tires (always had a lease until now) and was a little apprehensive about the process. Costco online, and the Costco Tire Center in Auburn Hills made the process easy, quick and painless!Chose my tires online, ordered, and booked an appointment based on the recommended delivery time frame. Tires came in early and I received a notification, and a link to shift my appointment to a sooner date if I wanted to. I did that, and the whole process was easy.Dropped my truck off at the booked time and staff were friendly, including asking whether I wanted the black or white lettering facing outwards. Exactly 1 hour later I received a call that my truck was ready for pickup. They ran through registering the tires, and encouraged me to return for a 25 mile safety check.Very happy with the experience and just adds another reason to the 'Why I Love Costco List'.

Was having tpms issues with some sensors I got off Amazon. Very annoying experience trying to diagnose a problem that you can't really do yourself sans tire machine . I recommend no one to use any tpms sensors obtained online. I tried to save a little money and it bit me. Costco has a great deal on tpms sensors and a warranty to boot. 250 out the door with 4 new sensors installed. I paid 50 for some knockoff or defective Delcos plus 80 to get em installed, money down the toilet. Either get new sensors when getting new tires or do it this way. 3% back with citi Costco cars as well with executive membership ;)

I had an appointment for changing old tires to new ones. We were buying new 4 tires. While making appointments we were told that it will take an hour. I came to shop purchased tires and 2 hours later still waiting for my car. I wish they communicate the waiting time a bit better. Hope I will not be sitting here for another hour or so.

We have used Costco Tires on 3 of our vehicles and have always received excellent service. I always make an appointment (never drop-in) and they are done in a very timely manner. We purchased snow tires for one of our vehicles, and each year I go in to have the snow tires put on at the beginning of the season and switched back to the regular tires at the end of the season. So I have LOTS of experience with Costco Tires, each and every one of them positive.In fact, once I made an appointment to purchase new tires for my husband s car. I dropped it off and went into the store with a book to wait in their dining area. After about 20 minutes, a man from the tire department came in to find me and tell me the car really didn t need new tires yet, that they had plenty of tread left. He had tried to call me, but my ringer volume was low and I didn t hear the phone in my purse, so he walked all around the store looking for me until he found me in the dining area. All to tell me I should save my money and wait at least another year for new tires. I was in awe of their honesty and exemplary customer service.

My husband and I ironically suddenly got a flat tire. The closest place to us to receive air tire service was Costco. Was very early and thank goodness one of the garage doors was open. Their was Jonathon - kindly stopped what he was doing and was quick to greet with a big smile. He offered to not only take care of the one tire, he made sure the other 3 had enough air as well. Very Kind. It was very warm that day. Turned out our tire was completely flat and offered immediately his service in checking if he had one in stock or order one for us.Jonathan is a very kind helpful guy with amazing customer service, which is becoming rare these days.Thanks for helping us out!

Ok this is a good news bad news story so you can decide for yourself what you care most about. Myself I won t be back. First off set of Michelin tires for my Chevy truck $950 Belle tire and discount tire when I looked installed. Costco $802 out the door with new tire pressure sensor caps. That s a big difference. Ordered 2/7. Credit card charged 2/14 when they are shipped except DHL lists them as expected until the 20th when they actually are shipped. Keep in mind you can buy these tires all day long coming off the street at a number of stores in the area. 3rd one in line Saturday morning (only time I could get there) took an hour and a half to get them installed. Nothing to do but shop COSTCO right? So you decide, price or service? I will update if there are any issues with the installation.

I purchased my tires and they said they would call me when they came in. Never got the call. I called and the tires had been there. I made the mistake of going in on a weekend and it took 4.5 hours to get my tires installed. I went out to check on them and no one was even working on my tires. My vehicle was just sitting there while a group of people were talking and laughing. I get they are people and need breaks, but 4.5 hours is way too long. Nycole, the manager, was one of the people just hanging out and sauntering around the bays. I won't go back.

Absolutely blown away by the customer service I received at this location. It started with a flat tire. I pulled into a Mobil station and was trying to figure out what to do. I called a tow truck to come change my tire and found out I only had a donut. It was after 6pm, I was trying to get home over 160 miles away and I was not planning on driving that far, in the rain, at night, with a donut tire. I called Costco and spoke to DeSean. We talked about several options for me. They closed at 8:30 and it was after 7. I was still waiting for the tow truckk to come change the tire. DeSean said he would wait for me, and true to his word, they were there waiting for me when I finally arrived. The rest of the story is long and hilarious but the bottom line is that I was taken care of and the guys there really did care about what happened to me. Thank you for going above and beyond. Will recommend you all to everyone.

Costco has now lost touch with the average consumer. When costing out for a group of 4 tires they offered brands that were typically 300 to $400 more expensive then what I could get at Belle Tire or my local AC Tire store. Also you can no longer order tires from a second party and have them installed at Costco. They only offered expensive Solutions to my Tire problem.

Conveniently located. The appointment during the week worked fairly well for me. It could be a 5 star but honestly it depend on the technician. Jeff was awesome , understanding knowledgeable and very professional. Others instead have an attitude and care less about customer service.

I have been here since 11:30 am and now is 1:46 pm to change 4 tires. A lot of my time lost here... and I am freezing. Is not worthy spend more than 2 hours to change the tires when you have the appointment.Very sad I like this Cotsco.

Head quarters told me 1 month ago that this store would bring back blocks of President feta this week nope!! Wasted time and gas.SATURDAY APRIL 14,it finally came but,not on shelf,superviser had to find it and put 6 blocks up only. Nice guy,but needs to be more assertive in making sure stocks are up on shelf,and employees need to be around to help customers. No where can you find employees. They all seem to hide from customers or in offices. Sad.Now the don't know if coming.

Horrible place don't order your tires online, you'll never get your tires to be installed. Horrible service! Close at 8:30 but wouldn't take cars at 6! Which means either you need to take a day off to get your tires replaced or you'll never get your tires!

Twice I ve been here to get my tires fixed just to hear a bunch of excuses and non sense from that one service member who just likes to waste my time the Costco tire shop on Stephenson hwy in Madison hgts is way better

Got my tires rotated but a hubcap fell off the next day, so the day after my hubcap fell off I went to the tire service center and they said they would get me a replacement, very satisfied!
