These people had no problem taking my money for my expensive lawnmower but won't answer the service line to get me scheduled to have it serviced. I tried calling back after the first half hour of hold time to talk to someone from sales to see if they could confirm that I'm in the service area (which they did), but then threw me back into the hold queue. I sat there another full hour on top of the half I've already waited. No human check ins or apologies from the staff. They obviously have staff there that could schedule my job if they cared to.My advice don't deal with a place that doesn't stand behind their products. Last time I was in the store there was six or more salesmen. Two of which were just sitting around on a couple mowers chit chatting. Amazing that they don't know how to take down someone's info for service but know how to take down the same info for a sale. They must live by the "that's not my job" way of life. I'm hitting Hutson's in Tecumseh, Diuble Equipment, or Napoleon Lawn and Leisure next time. I need something. I might as well have been dealing with a big box store.

Excellent experience. My salesman Joel was so knowledgeable about everything. So very pleased with my purchase. Joel made the experience smooth and easy. He made me feel like part of the family

I went to this store while I was in the area to look at buying my first adult chainsaw. I was a little hesitant and not exactly sure what I should buy so I really needed some help. Joel greeted us with a smile and helped explain everything and answer all of my questions. He addressed all the important points (including things I didn t think about). I didn t buy anything that day, as I was waiting to buy my land and thinking and doing my own research. Fast forward to yesterday, I called the store and spoke with Joel and he remembered our previous conversation and said I ll pull them out and get everything ready. I went with my two sons (1 & 4) and it was fantastic. Joel helped with the kids while explaining all the finer points of the saws to me. I ended up leaving with two saws and a bunch of needed equipment. His service was ABOVE and beyond my hopes. The crew at the store including Craig and (I don t remember her name) where so kind and even bought my 4 year old candy from the vending machine! (Obviously they asked before). They all helped load everything into my truck and wished us well. Today, I decided to change one of the saws out for a pro model, so I called Joel and he was an absolute rock star. He had the paperwork already going and the new saw already serviced and ready for me. My kids were happy to be back and I can t believe the kind of service you get at this store. This is not the closest Weingardz to me, as there are two others closer. This is now my store and I will now only go to this store because of all they have done. Service, staff and smiles were amazing. 10/10. Everyone in need of lawn or power equipment in the local 50 mile radius go see this man! It s worth your time and money!

After using a gas powered personal pace Toro for many years we were hesitating to switch to a battery powered Toro. After talking to Joel five weeks ago we decided to make the switch. We are extremely happy with the new technology! The new mower is very light weight, quiet, compact, easy to start and operate and low maintenance... all of this plus the cutting and recycling power of the gas powered mower. Don't hesitate to buy!

I received my Echo leaf blower as a birthday gift. I love it. I was able to clear my entire 1 acre lot in 1 hour. The Weingartz sales person was super knowledgeable and provided great customer care.

Another week gone by and STILL NO PARTS ORDER ... Oh yeah, the charged my credit card minutes after my review last week Friday the 27th, and still no parts. Hey Owner, how about some update on this order. Nearly 20 days ... you should be ashamed of your company and staff.

Place a maintenance (air filter, oil filter, plugs) order on 20 OCT 23, called at 0910 on 27 OCT 23 and was told by Doug that will ship today. I asked why the delay? Everything was in stock, Doug said "I don't know, maybe they're behind." NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER CARE. WILL NOT USE AGAIN.

I had a mower in for service. They didtheir standard service package, which might have included work the mower didn't need. Sharpening the blades was part of the package I was charged for. The blades were obviously not sharpened. I'm waiting to have that done after complaining. What else was I billed for that was not done?

I called for a part and was told Livonia had 1 in stock and that they would hold it in my name. I drove from the downriver area to Livonia to pick it up. I waited around while they tried to find the part only to find they could not find the 1 they had in inventory. They told me Ann Arbor or Utica had the part in inventory. I waited around to have them confirm Ann Arbor indeed had one "in hand" which they did. I drove Ann Arbor to pick it up.I spent over three hours and drove 80+ miles to get the $42 part I needed to fix my Cub Cadet tractor so that I could cut my grass. Weingartz did give me a $8 dollar credit on the part for causing the inconvenience.Moral of the story: 1.) Don't trust the Weingartz parts inventory system. 2.) Confirm that Weingartz has the parts you need "in hand" before you journey to one of their locations to pick up parts.

Had to edit this to 1 star. Their customer service and call center has gotten ridiculous. Tired of sending someone to pickup parts only to find out they aren't in stock. Will definitely be looking into a different parts supplier.

I took my Z100 Cub Cadet to Weingartz of Ann Arbor on the 2nd of Aug for a oil leak which I described as at the right side at the bass of the engine. They replaced an O ring under the remote oil filter. A 15 minute job, totally unnecessary as the leak was where I described. They charged me $336.00 and returned my mower in the same condition . Service manager did not answer or return call from his answering machine. I was warned by several people not to go there because the service is not good, but its where I bought the mower and I thought they were reputable. Guess not!

I always go for the popcorn, while I am there I drool over the mowers I will never be able to afford, but they look so shiny and awesome. The sales people are always so friendly and helpful. Occasionally I will pick up some parts or accessories I need to keep my lawn looking spiffy! If you are ever in the area you have to visit, tell them Bob sent you!

I cannot overstate the satisfaction I have had with both of my equipment purchases and how happy I am I purchased locally. The after sale service has been over the top - I am not a commercial landscaper but they treat me like I am their biggest account. I am sorry I did not make all of my purchases at Weingartz - I purchased the EGO trimmer-blower-edger from a big box and am out of luck with service and have to deal with the manufacturer on warranty.

Weingartz was 1 of 3 places saying they could get my mower's part. Other than an expensive, heavy piece of steering gear piercing the shipping box, parts were delivered in a reasonable time and now my old tractor drives like new again! I'd happily order from Weingartz again.

Great customer service! We were greeted the moment we walked through the door.I just wanted to get some prices on different brands of push mowers.Robert Hollowick assisted myself and girlfriend. He answered all our questions. We decided to by the mower that day instead of waiting. The store was closing in about 15 minutes. Robert said they could set it up then. I told him that wasn't necessary. He then asked when we wanted to pick it up.He was very professional.I will definitely be doing more business with WeinGartz.Thank you for the great service.Gary Williams

It's a trap! Held my tractor up for service for a month when they said it would take 2 weeks! To make matters worse, after finally finishing the service they said it would take yet *another* 2 weeks before they could deliver it back to me!!...Which means they were going to keep it *FOUR* weeks longer than they originally estimated, for 6 weeks total, SERIOUSLY!!?? As if 4 weeks into this it was suddenly a surprise that this tractor would need to get back to its owner!!?? On top of all of that there was a couple weeks where it was almost impossible to talk to anyone on the phone about the status and then they resorted to texting instead of just picking up the phone to talk! I also note that once the service is done they charge a daily rate for storing the equipment...so is this their way of skimming more $ from their customers?? Never going to use them again and going back to our serviceman that comes to you on-site. Tried to give Weingartz a chance but definitely never going back for service.

Can I just comment 'Wow!' Its what I remember how complete strangers used to be prior to be leaving to serve our beloved country for the past 30 years, Thank you sir for holding the door open even though your hand was fully caring a blower, Thanks for the welcoming friendly phone call advising me that such a repair would be free while I wait should I decide to come by and Thank you sir for your expertise and suggestive input on what actually was the faultThis truly was a warming family type of feeling from the moment I pulled up in my chick type of Chevy Sonic

I purchased Stihl ChainsawFarmboss $600 2021 I used few hours less than 40 hours,It wouldn t start so I took it in forRepair January 2023.They informed me that thePiston was scored that s why it didn t start it cost $450 to repair! They informed me I would better off buying a new saw!I explained to them it has less 40 hours on it.They told meThey couldn t cover it in warranty due to age!I ask how did I get scored piston? They said using the wrong mix of fuel!I informed them I have 4 other stihl chains saws all using the same fuel with Stihl oil and recreational gas.Spoke to the manager asking him to cover this in warranty he refused.I took to another Stihl dealer the piston wasn t scored! The repair was only $89 dollars way different from wiengratz !So they re not interested in helping or taking care of their customers! All their concerned about is selling a new chainsaw.Shame on Wiengratz management!Shame on the customer service .I will never buy anything from wiengratz.Any estimate you get from them don t trust them!

Recently as with many places they have been short handed. Unfortunately took my blades to get sharpened and had to wait a few days to pick them up. The wait was ok, the issue was they gave me the wrong blades back and unfortunately I didn't notice the size difference till I got home and tried to put them on. Luckily after driving back there again they did find my blades and said they would do them again for FREE, so at least they made that offer. In general though my experience is they have been friendly and helpful.

Hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was willing to overlook the fact that the mechanic did not clean the carburetor on my equipment properly. Stuff happens...I get it. But the woman with brown hair and glasses was extremely rude, ignored me when I questioned why my equipment wouldn't start and also sarcastically hoped I "have a nice day" when I confronted her about her complete lack of communication. I would expect to be fired immediately from my job if I treated a customer with this little respect.

I only have great things to say about this store. We sold our condo three years ago and purchased a home. Since buying our home I have purchased a mower, string trimmer, electric blower, backpack blower (we have a lot of leaves) and a new snowblower for the winter of 2022-23. I have been happy with all of my purchases. The salespeople are very knowledgeable and have sold me the right equipment for my home. When I was in the store a few weeks ago to purchase the blower Joel showed me all of the features of the blowers and outlined the advantages and disadvantages of each unit. The blower is being delivered later this week and I am actually looking forward to the first snowfall which allows me to use my new Toro.I have also been very pleased with the service department. I have had them winterize my mower the past three seasons and the unit runs like I just took it out of the box. I love my local hardware stores, but would not go anywhere for home power equipment

Would have given a 5 star but every call goes through a call center. No one answered my call had to order part through the text option. Took 5 days to get the part from another store. Payment was done through text and when I got to the store I was there 15min trying to figure everything out. Enough said

Bought a snowblower from here to replace my 20 year old Honda. The experience was wonderful! No pressure, just informative. We made our decision, paid for it, and a week later showed up to pick it up. The Weingartz team loaded it into my vehicle, noted that they already registered the serial number with the manufacturer, and we were on our way. Many thanks to Craig I. and the rest of the Team for making the entire buying experience a great one! We definitely recommend shopping here and will return again.

Two of my 3 experiences with the store in Ann Arbor have been absolutely tragic. I purchased a zero turn riding mower and the sale went smoothly and I am very happy with my tractor and I was pleased to be shopping at a local business. Two days after my purchase, I saw the same tractor at another store just down the road at a cheaper price. I asked a salesman on the floor if they price match and was told they do. After showing pictures of the tractor and price tag from the competitor, the salesman got the store manager who complained to me for ten minutes about "the big box stores" and then gave me a card for store credit for half of the difference in price. The next spring (now), I call to arrange annual maintenance. They pick up the tractor as scheduled and tell me it will be done in two weeks. They have now had it for 8 weeks and I have been paying a contractor to mow my yard. This is my last time at this store..
