Traded in my matrix for a 2022 Corolla. Mixed experience. Greg, my sales consultant, was outstanding. He was authentic, great communication, common sense, knowledgeable, professional, down to earth, knows how to meet people where they re at He s a rock star. He helped me every step of the way. The guy who went through paperwork - Michael- nope. Started out fine, then at the end, when I refused the extra warranty package ( several thousand dollars more duh, why do I always buy Toyotas???!!!), his demeanor changed. I was asking questions about the lein release ( I had paid my old Toyota off years ago). He just tossed out that I needed to get a lein release. I didn t know where and had to keep pressing to find out where to do that and asked for the phone number to call. He wrote it down. I was under the impression I had to have it when I picked up my Corolla. I asked if I could call right then. He was brusque. Brushed me off saying something to the effect that he had to meet with someone. Clearly ticked that I didn t buy the outrageous warranty that he d been pushing. Probably assumed because I was paying cash, I could afford it. He hasn t a clue about my life or struggles and that if I can t pay cash for something, I don t buy it. I save up and am frugal and forego brand new purchases. Always buy everything used. I thrift shop. He needs to know what a hard no is and accept it. I purchased my previous 2 used Toyotas at Dunning and no one pressured me to buy an expensive warranty like this guy did. It s no longer Dunning got sold out. As far as I m concerned, Michael is a liability to this dealership. Greg is a keeper. After that experience with Michael, I refused to deal with anyone there except for Greg.

Poor customer service, Don't fulfill their commitments. I posted a review here about my experience, and they promised to contact me. I am again disappointed that they promise on your face and then ignore you. When I bought the car a few months back, they promised to do the front bumper touch-up and replacement key fob ( they advertise it big ), and now they are showing a total lack of interest in fulfilling their promise. How can so.e9ne trust them?

I had been going here for services since I bought my used car there 3 years ago. I went each check up I needed according to my car s mileage, and I went in a timely manner.I visited in October, I told them they had said I would need new brake pads in the fall when I was there in the spring. They looked it over and said I didn t need new brakes, to my surprise.Visited a different Toyota Service center about a month after visiting their location, because my brake light came on shortly after visiting their location. My brake fluid was low and I m now paying for rotors and brake pads. Over $1000 because they are rusted and nearly metal to metal. I am never going to the Ann Arbor location again.

Service staff is pleasant, but my routine maintenance and new tires has turned into a four hour appointment. I got in at 7:20 with a scheduled appointment with two other people in the waiting area. I had over 10 other people come in and sit down and be fully taken care of before I was able to leave. The worst part was I received no estimate of how long the work would take and no updates along the way. I had to check on the status of my car about 3.5 hours in. I'm not happy with how things went today.

120,000 mile service seemed very overpriced, but the oil Change was done in a timely fashion and everyone was very friendly even though I squeezed in right before closing time to pick up my vehicle

There are just way too many things going on at one time. It's hard for the person helping us when they keep having to go help other workers.

Greg was polite, well informed, helpful and gave us great advice on our purchase plans. They had a nice selection of very nice used and new vehicles.

Nice team and greeted right away. Sadly, only 1 vehicle works for now in the fleet and it isn't easy to get, can't test drive and has additional markup which we've never heard ofMaking it out of our range. Just cause there's demand, I don't understand making it harder and gouging over on price. Make more, ramp up. You have good product, don't take advantage of customers. So, dealer was kind, though unable to work a deal yet and the issue we have isn't necessarily the dealer but the whole. Perhaps this is new standard norm, but we haven't encountered that yet.

Took my sienna there post minor accident to check any suspension damage. They found none, wonderful. About a week later I got a letter saying what they had told me. But also said added that I needed a new battery and front brake pads and rotors. Both pads and rotors were brand new less than 2 years ago, and inspected when I changed from winter to summer tires, perfect condition. So where did they get that info. I have called 3 times trying to see what happened/if I actually need that. 1st call I was told a manager would call me back. Been hung up on while on hold twice after that... I was happy with my service. But not with the support since.

I took my car in for animal damage to some kind of harness. After I picked up my car from being serviced, my dashboard light came back on due to a failing thermostat and discovered my tailgate button was not working. I took my car back into the service department and they said they knew about the thermostat from when I initially took it in, but did not add it the repair list because it wasn't part of the issue insurance was covering. They had my car for over a month, I called 4 times and asked for updates, not once did they mention this issue, because if they had, I would have said fix it and I ll pay for it.Then, when I told them about the tailgate, they said that the tailgate switch was broken and this was something insurance denied to pay to repair also. This is where it gets fishy. I was irritated at Dunning s lack of communication, so I took my car to another service to station to get it looked at. The other service station told me that the tailgate switch was not broken, but improperly connected to the defrost. They guessed it happened after the new harness was put in and everything had to be reconnected. Before I took my car in, I had no issue with the tailgate button.I filled out a survey, letting them know I was disappointed in the service I received. I got an email from the service manager letting me know he d like to speak. I replied with What would be a good time to call? and I got a call from an underling. She had no idea what the issues were and said she would gather some more information and call back. No follow through on her follow up. Again, poor communication.I took my car into the Dunning service station even though I knew I would probably get charged a little more, but I thought it would be worth the cost because they know their vehicles best and I would get peace of mind knowing it was properly repaired. I had no peace of mind from them.I won't be going back and I no longer plan on purchasing any future vehicles from them either. This whole experience just left a sour feeling all the way from the Service rep. to the Service Manager.

I made an appointment for service 3 wks in advance. I left the car at the dealership the night before for a 7:00 AM appointment. It was a simple service of an oil change, tire rotation and fluids check. When I went to pick up the car at 1:00 PM it was not ready. The only conversation I had with the service department was a call in the morning offering a list of extra services that would have raised the bill to over $1300. When the car was ready the service mgr took $50 off of the bill which I was very grateful for.Would I visit this dealership again? I would have to think twice. Its getting hard to accept the excuse, We can t get reliable help because of Covid . Maybe businesses should think about compensating their employees better.

Didn't seem interested in a sale. Car on their website we came to see (buy) was not there (one of the staff "drove it home"). Didn't answer phone. Had us wait an excessively long time while they 'checked' inventory. Generally a very poor experience. No sale!

Shadi Seada did a fantastic job finding me the right vehicle (2023 Camry). He explained everything to me during the buying process and this was my first new car purchase. I had a lot of concerns about finance and pricing, he answered all my questions even when I asked the same question more than 3 times. He listened to my needs and requests and was able to work with me. Shadi was friendly and was easy to talk to. I recommend Shadi and the Toyota of Ann Arbor.

I purchased a vehicle from Tony Khalil and I was very happy about the experience. He answered all my questions immediately and gave me his card to reach out for any further questions. He was very professional and had great customer service. I recommend him to everyone!

Customer service was lacking! Was good until the sale was final, then nothing. When we drive off that lot we are still your customers. We still had a tow package on order, and was never called to let me know it was in. Then when I found out it was in, I made an appointment to have it installed. Milike was supposed to have a loaner car ready for us and he acted like he didn't know we were coming. Had to wait 45 min. For him to get the car then brings it on empty, without saying two words to us. Work on your customer service. As it stands I would not recommend this dealership.

All I can say is Tony Khalil is the real deal. He helped me out on a lease and made it as swift as possible as I enjoyed the complimentary water he gave me. Even though other sales reps were telling him things about other leases and deals that were pending he still stayed focused and made sure our time with him was brief. He made my brief time at dunning a good experience.

Drove over 40 minutes to drive a vehicle. Called and confirmed with 2 employees the vehicle was available. Got to dealership and vehicle had just been taken to service and was unfortunately not available . Was then told they couldn t even talk to anyone about getting it back. Not a good look when you lie to cover up, and do nothing for an increasingly inconvenienced customer. Would leave 0 stars if I could.

Buyer beware! They reset the check engine light so after you buy it, it comes on 1 day after. I took it to AutoZone and they said there were history codes so they definitely knew about them. Shady business!

Split review - service yes, sales no! The service department at Dunning has been outstanding - especially since we seem to get Zach as our Service Advisor every time we come in with the Tundra or Prius. He works hard to make sure we are satisfied. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for sales. The Tundra purchase in 2004 was great - good sales rep, etc. The Prius purchase in 2011 was just the opposite- different sales team, car brought up from Ohio and had problems from day it left the lot, never heard from rep again, Sales Manager treated me like I was stupid, etc. Service team worked for months trying to resolve issues with Prius with zero luck. I may buy another Toyota but Dunning will be my last choice for that.

We called to test drive a car, when we got there we were told it had sold. It sounded like it had sold before we called, it was just a way to get us in the door.
