Great experience! They had just the seat I was looking for, the pricing was less than half of any other pull-a-part, was in phenomenal condition, and it was ready for pickup within 30min of me calling. Everyone there was nice and friendly. Will definitely be back for any other parts I need in the future.

I called a few days in advance to confirm parts were available for my Ford C-Max as listed in online inventory. I called the night before to make arrangements to have two doors pulled off the stock number requested - upon arriving first thing in the morning everything was available and ready to load. Great price and great service. One of the doors didn't fit inside the car and I quickly put it on the vehicle and transferred the old pieces to their door leaving the shell for disposal. Excellent service all around and accommodating of take it or leave it need for the doors. Very satisfying experience!

Horrible experience, drove 40 miles. Parts did not match parts description online.Front counter truly do not know how to run a business. Very unprofessional. After an exchange of words he has the audacity to tell me to leave and that he will sell it to somebody else (take it or leave it) Zero human decency. Absolute waste of time.

They put JUNK in junk yard. 35% restocking fee is a bit much.I will not be back. Horrible customer service and no restroom.I would give them zero stars!! READ THE REVIEWS AND SEE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THERE IS A PATTERN HERE.

I was a little worried at first using Zelle to buy the part I needed online but the folks were very pleasant on the phone and delivered the ignition lock cylinder very quickly. I never thought I d be able to drive my car again after it was broken into and ripped apart, but the folks at town and country had the exact part I needed to get the car going again!

I purchased an engine and transmission from them. Installed the pair, and the transmission was bad. I had to remove the transmission and get a refund for it. I am out 10 hours of labor, fluid and programming cost. Car it came out of was wrecked in the front hard. They replaced the broken trans pan when they pulled it without notifying me. I know this since the TCM under the pan had a large chip taken out of it and the fasteners were out of place. That was my first and last purchase from this place.Reply from Town and Country Response: What a strange, and totally false response from you. I personally installed this transmission being licensed by the State of Michigan as a mechanic for >20 years with automatic transmission as one of my certs. Trans was installed using Mercon LV fluid, cooler was flushed, transmission adaptive shifts were reset and the solenoid shift strategies were programmed into the PCM utilizing a Cardaq J2534 connected through FJDS to Motorcraft website. It was installed 100% by the book.The transmission was aerating fluid you sold me, I believe its from a broken internal filter or a bad pump. I have attached pictures showing how hard the car was hit Town and Country Pulled it out of. This transmission should have NEVER been sold in my opinion. You can also see the TCM cracked if you zoom in on the left upper part of the trans. You can also see the aerated fluid in that same picture.

I called about a fender and asked if it was off the car. It was not I said I have a 30min drive. They said it s plenty of time to pull it please call back when your on your way. I left work to take a long lunch called them and asked again if it would be ready. They assured me it would be. When I showed up they asked me questions about how to remove it. There tech comes in and they tell him to remove it. Clearly they didn t even start to take it off. I had a frustrated look on my face but didn t say anything. Then they ask everything good? I say quietly yea just trying to get back work. They got an attitude with me flashing their computer screen showing how busy they are. 35min later they had it off. If they actually started when they said they would I would have waited only 5min tops. No respect for peoples time and terrible communication skills. I find it important to support local family business but this is not something I recommend.

Carey and his crew are responsive, helpful, and we'll organized. When you think salvage yard you expect to see vehicles strewn about with grass growing up around them. Not here. Everything in rows and catalogued. They offer new parts as well!

Nice family owned operation. My tail light on my truck broke and they were able to find me one at a very reasonable price. They can give you a quote right over the phone and save it in their computer to reference later.

Thief s, liars and crooked people, horrible experience I should ve listened to all the other 1 star reviews SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE SPEND THE LITTLE EXTRA MONEY, YOU'LL PROBABLY FIND AN EVEN BETTER PRICE WITH HONEST PEOPLE & QUALITY PARTS BECAUSE THE WORKERS HERE LIKE TO SWITCH UP THE PRICES ON PEOPLE & SELL JUNK THEN GET DEFENSIVE WHEN YOU CALL THEM OUT ON THEIR STUFF DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER PARTS PLACE WITH QUALITY PEOPLE & QUALITY PARTS

I spoke with a guy named Mike. Told me he has two parts for me with the same color. I came and the fender was the same color but damaged from them taking it off and was still asking a high price and the hood turned out to be a whole different color not even close to the color I asked and confirmed he had. Did not care that I came from an hour and a half away. Terrible customer service.

Called for few parts and they confirmed with me with the Colors and not damaged drove over an hour. When I got there parts weren t the colors they said and some parts had damage and they still want the same price. And at the same time still rude no respect even for veterans. Honestly just sad things to see.

For everyone seeing this, these are not fake reviews like the owner says. He acts like a child, gets defensive and starts to get aggressive with customers instead of being a responsible business owner and owning up to his mistakes. It s just ridiculous to me.

I've been a customer for over 10 years. I check here first for what I need before spending too much for a brand new part. I've always received pleasant and quick service. I highly recommend you call here first before going anywhere else. Pro tip: There's a large number of car stereos for sale in the office. I've never paid full price for a system.

Baught a used engine aparently with unknown miles and has head problems and spark plugs have all broke off due to rust. They said they would offer me 50% refund. The warranty says 35% restock fee but sinse they have to fix it they can only offer me half return.look at other reviews obviously they don t hold to their warranty. It s been 4 days sinse I baught engine.

Sold me a bad transmission that never worked had a warranty to cover it then would not refund my money. Called to talk to the owner/manager to try and rectify the situation and would never even come on the phone and said he was not talking to anyone about the situation. I can't believe a business would handle a problem like this! Will NEVER deal with this business again!!Update on the response below:The transmission was put in by our team ofProfessionals that do this work on a daily basis. The coolant was from the front impact of the car that you took the transmission out of. Since then we have put another transmission in with absolutely no problems. We tried to handle it with you in a professional manner and you wouldn't have it. We deal with a lot of car salvage yards on a regular basis but unfortunately in this case we just don't agree on how this matter was taken care of.

This place is fantastic! I've been there several times and have always felt they fairly and accurately set prices at or below market value. Mike, the owner, is one of the most honest people I know, and he's one of the nicest people I know too. The business isn't set up to do service work on customer's cars but will occasionally just to help someone out. I've purchased several second-hand cars from him over the years - in fact, my mom is driving one right now - and my brother has bought and driven several over the years too. We trust his cars because we know that he doesn't sell them until they have been completely checked it out and are deemed reliable. He and his father operate that way because it's fair, and because they wouldn't want one of their friends or family to buy one somewhere else and have it break down on them. Mike is some kind of mechanical genius too. You can tell that he gets satisfaction out of knowing how things work together to make a car run properly. Over the years I've called him (trying to stump his knowledge) to ask him about a sound my car was making. Most times he was able to diagnose the issue(s) over the phone just based on my description of the symptom or making the sounds myself. This is one of the "old school" places in Ann Arbor that represents how business should be conducted: honestly, fairly and with integrity.

Staff on Monday went back on a deal I made with another staff member (Casey - who wasn't there on Monday) in person on Saturday (junk truck for a set of rims and tires). When I showed up, they had taken the tires off the rims and one rim had a damaged tpms sensor. When I asked about the tires they said they'd write a $300 check and keep the rims if I had an issue with it. I had already signed over to the title so I was stuck with the rims and they refused to honor the deal. I had written down the details of the deal and showed that to the person at the desk but they didn't care. Will not be doing any further business with them and will not be recommending them to anyone in the future.

This Auto junk yard was helpful when I went to buyA used rim for my daughters car, I paid and my 120 lb daughter pcame later to pick it . She arrived showed them her receipt they saw she was alone carried it out to her set it on the ground and walked away. She is 16 years old she didn t know she could ask for help, she struggled in the rain to lift this very heavy rim into her trunk, she said mom he watched me struggle. They saw she was young so I assume they did not care, no respect for my little girl with no adult there. I will do all I can to avoid them in the future because of this.

NEVER SEND ANY MONEY BY ZELLE FOR THESE SCAMMERS... i wanted to buy a part and they asked me to send the money by zelle after 5 minutes they called me back and told that part's price will be higher than what i paid... i told them to cancel it and they asked me to make a request money by zelle and they told me once receivedthat request, they will processit immediately.I sent the request by zelle and i didn't get anything after two hours. I called them back and asked them about my money...so they started screaming and talking by rude tone and put me on hold ... after many tries they sent back.Just be careful to deal with this gangster.

I don't know how to say this, because you usually don't think of junk yards is a wonderful place to go! I went in looking for a part for my 2008 automobile and they were very friendly, helpful, and wonderful to deal with! I was recommended to try to find my car parts here and I am glad that somebody told me about this wonderful little junkyard. I would love to walk around to see what kind of vehicles they have behind the fences, as I am really curious. If you need something for your vehicle that is not brand new and you have to get from the dealership I would try Town & country Auto parts!

I am hoping this review saves someone the trouble of dealing with this business. I am an ASE certified Master Technician that has been dealing with this business for over a month now and they have still not resolved my issue. Our shop had to locally pick up the engine and they gave us a hard time about not supplying the core with timing covers. Later we would find out they had not installed the correct covers on the engine we purchased from them. They also assured us the engine was in good condition. We later found out the timing gears were rusty and the timing components had been exposed for a long time. More importantly, once we inspected the engine, we discovered it had jumped time and bent 6 valves, leading to a very expensive machine shop bill that we were responsible for covering. It has been a month since we last contacted this business about reimbursement, and while they assured us they would respond promptly, they still have yet to make it right. Will never do business with this company again based on this experience alone.

Found Mike and his team to be great to work with! They were prompt in calling me back with information about the part that I was looking for. I ended up going with a different yard, but had a good experience with these guys and thought I'd share!
