I came in with serious issues that arose on my old pickup truck and was genuinely delighted at the honesty and integrity expressed to me by the staff at Packard Auto Repair. They understood that finances were a concern for me and worked within my budget to figure out a solution to get me back on the road ASAP without having a prior appointment. I couldn t recommend them enough for either minor, or more serious repairs for the price conscious. Thank you! Services: Exhaust, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

I ve been coming to this shop for a few years now, quite simply the best shop in the Ann Arbor area, there incredibly friendly, up front with you and provide better service then you will find in any other facility period.

I give them a 5 star on every thing they did. The boss is very nice, two mechanics are super knowledgeable. They help me a lot by giving me a free quick check on my car, and point out the real problem instead of me saying what's the problem is and save me the money. Very very nice place to recommend if your car has some issue and let them fix it.

Packard Auto repair has always been kind, explained issues without talking down to me (as a woman, I've found many other places do this), always have fair prices, and do a great job with repairs. I've never found them to be recommending repairs I don't need, and they always provide guidance if a repair is immediately necessary or could wait. I highly recommend them.

They will steal your car parts... take a picture of your engine and battery mark your alternator because if it's genuine they will steal it. I paid for survice and parts and got my parts stolen/replaced. It's a legit review to inform anyone who brings their vehicle to you they should take pictures of their entire engine and in general what's under the hood before being their cars to you ... so they can compare before and after.

I wanted to update my review of Packard Auto Repair because I have now gone to them for 9 years. They have provided us with prompt and fast service with everything from oil changes to important repairs. Their prices are fair and their work is super reliable. I trust their advice and their work. I wouldn't go to anyone else!The guys at Packard Auto Repair were incredibly nice. We had a very simple problem which was that we had to replace our license plate but the bolts had rusted so thoroughly that we couldn't remove them. They took care of it without issue and didn't even charge us.

I sold my car to these guys and they never transfered the title. The guy they sold it to, did a hit and run landing me in a lawsuit. Thanks guys.

I have been taking my vehicles to Packard Auto for the past 8 years. They are always friendly and helpful. They do excellent work at a fair price. On a number of occasions they have said this is what you need to get done to make the car safe to drive and said they are other things you can do but aren't necessary. I really appreciate that type of service because it lets me choose what I want to get done and how much I need to spend. I can't recommend Packard Auto enough.

I can't say enough about Packard Auto Repair. They really helped me out and the customer service was amazing. They got my jeep in and were honest about the repairs needed. They were understanding about my cost concerns and did not make me feel uncomfortable about it. I highly recommend.

This place was great! I brought my car in to get fixed and the service great. They were very friendly and very curtious. I was always being updated on the progress of my car and I was definitely treated with respect and honesty. The service was fast and was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back for any future repairs. I will also be recommending them to my family and friends. It's difficult to find a good mechanic but I sure found mine. Keep up the great work guys.

Buyers beware! I got the following quote from PAR and because it was a very expensive quote of $3849.41 I decided to save some $ and take it to my brother s auto shop in Farmington Hills. This is really inconvenient for me but given the price was well worth th drive in. He is a very reputable and has had a garage for 30 + years. He charges me 200.84. You can see the attached quotes and exactly what my brothers recommendations were to stop the noise my car was making. I went back into PAR to show them my car was fixed for $200 saving me a grand total of $3826.57. They stood by their original quote. Wow! Take what you will from this. Peace.

These guys are great! I just bought a car recently, and it needs a bunch of things done to it. I have started my project here, and will be coming back for most of the future things, and regular oil changes. These guys are tracking my issues and helping me triage. They have been really helping me out with costs and such, and I get a very straightforward honest vibe from them. This is now my main auto shop!

I couldnt give more stars. First thing is they got my car in super fast. They also inspected it for free, to find the problem (most places will charge you 25.00). Second, they were very kind and they fixed my truck really quick (took a few hours). Also, their prices seem reasonable, with a 1 year warranty. As much as I like these guys, I hope not to see you for a while . Thank you all for being so nice and speedy, I will continue to recommend you gentleman.

It is very stressful, as a parent, when you child is away from home (in college) and has car trouble and you aren't familiar with any auto repair places near them. Our son had problems with his Cadillac converter in May. After reading many online reviews for a few repair places in the Ann Arbor area, we had our son take his car to a couple places for estimates. Ahmad at Packard Auto Repair gave use a couple options on how he could do the repair at an affordable cost, a cost much more reasonable than the other quotes we received. He did a great job fixing the car. A couple weeks ago, our son called home because his breaks weren't working, Ahmad advised that our son shouldn't drive the car and had the car towed to the shop at no cost to us. He fixed the break lines and windshield wiper pump. Again, he did a great job. He is a wonderful person and took the extra time to assure a very nervous mom that her son would be safe to drive his vehicle. Two days ago, Ahmad and the Packard crew took time out of their already busy day to look over our son's car to be sure that a noise he was hearing wasn't affecting the safety condition of the car. They did this as a courtesy. Ahmad, again, assured us that the car would be safe to drive anywhere because he knew that our son would be driving back and forth on the express way. He never tried to take advantage of the fact that he was speaking to a woman. He is a very honest, respectful person. All three times that they have worked on our son's car they have been expedient, never keeping it longer than necessary and always calling in a timely matter to discuss their diagnosis. I would recommend Ahmad and Packard Auto Repairs to anyone, at any time. Keep up the great work!!!

Awesome experience!!!!!!!! These guys are incredible! They will work with you and try to do things as close to your budget as they can! This is no joke. If you need work done on your car in Ann Arbor, you need to check these guys out. You may have your own mechanic right now, but after using these guys you may change!

My father recommended this place after having dealt with a lot of different auto mechanics in the area over the years, and these guys really are great. They are prompt in letting you know the issue, giving you an estimate and keeping you updated throughout the process, and most importantly they are honest and don't try to tell you that you need things done that you don't. They are reasonable in price and just overall the best place to have your car issues taken care of .

Incredible,BMW had my car at dealership for 2 months,couldnt remove a spurk plug and these guys did it in 6 hrs!What BMW dealer couldnt fix in 2 months they did in 6 hours! Awesome BMW mechanics unbelivable professionals 10+ A+ i have no words for the high quality work!! Awesomeness,Thank You guys!

Extremely happy with our experience. Left Subaru stranded on side of road(thought it was major transmission/engine coolant system problems.) Left keys in night drop. They were able to tow vehicle to their shop, diagnose the problem (failed alternator), get parts, make repairs, test drove, and had us back on the road the same day. All this without an appointment! It saved our weekend plans. The price was reasonable, the customer service/communication was prompt and professional. Happy we found them. They will definitely get more of our business in the future.

Had brake pads and rotors replaced along with brake fluid flush. I already had the parts and was quoted a fair price for the labor.Very quick and professional service. Was able to get it done right on the day I wanted.

This is a great auto repair shop. I had a flat rear tire and my usual service center left me on hold for 10 minutes and didn't reply to my online request for a service appointment. I called Packard Auto Repair, brought my car around immediately and they fitted me into their busy schedule on a Saturday. They found and fixed the problem (a 1 inch screw embedded in the tire) within five minutes. Professional, friendly, no fuss service and even waived the bill. I was back on the road with no hassles and I can definitely recommend this place for auto repairs.

I have been going to Packard Auto Repair since I moved to Ann Arbor last year. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they always explain to me exactly what is going on with my car. They call right away when it's done and don't overcharge. On my last visit, my Airbag light had come on and some water had started leaking onto my foot by the accelerator. The guys at Packard fixed both without charging me a dime! The service is truly quality and makes me want to keep going back here as long as I live in the area. :)

I have been looking for a reliable, reasonable, HONEST auto repair shop in Ann Arbor since I began driving 11 years ago. Unfortunately I didn't find Packard Auto until last year, but I'm relieved to finally have a place to take my car (a 2007 Ford Escape). Every experience I've had there has been amazing and affordable, and I'm always given all of the details with regard to what needs to be fixed - from the immediately necessary repairs to minor ones that could potentially be done in the future - giving me options to work within my budget. And unlike other reviewers, as a young woman I have always been treated with the utmost respect by their staff. I am relieved to have a trustworthy place where I know they will do their best to help me fix my car, and do so at a reasonable cost.

I've gone to Packard Auto for major repairs on multiple vehicles - every time I've shopped around for the best price. They are not only the most reasonable, but are also extremely timely. For one specific project I literally saved $600 going here vs. another big name competitor, and had my car back the same day. All of the work has been top quality, my vehicles have never run better, and the customer service exceeds expectations. I would highly recommend Packard Auto for any vehicle maintenance or repairs you need!

This establishment did amazing work on my Ford Escape. I dropped it off on a Friday for extensive repair and didn t expect to get it back until the following Monday, however, I was surprised to get it back the very next day! The employees are very honest and trustworthy. I will return when repairs are needed in the future.

Knowingly sold me a lemon. I politely brought it to their attention. The person whom they said owned the car was transparent with me He said he didn t feel like it. And should act like a women Was rude and angry. Fighting with them now with BBB. Next step is court. I have followed al guidelines Angry owner. PLEASE NOTE: Packard Auto Repairs offered to tow my vehicle, free of charge, from a local dealership who had quoted writer a price of $1,300.00 to complete some much needed repairs. Please be advised that this heaven sent repair shop completed the repairs for a fraction of the price quoted by the dealership; $200.00. Packard Auto Repairs is not in the business of robing the customer. They fully understand that most people are living paycheck-to-paycheck and cannot afford to give away money. The employees @ Packard Auto Repairs have integrity. They are high quality upstanding skilled individuals who have masteted the art of meeting the customer needs.
