I needed to get my car inspected ASAP and this Midas came in clutch (pun intended)! Alex was able to get me in and out in an hour, with a full, detailed inspection that made it very easy for me to see and understand what fixes I needed for my Chevy. Prices were very reasonable too! $159 for the full diagnostics may seem steep, but it s well-worth it! Oil change prices are the best I ve seen in the area, I usually go to Victory Lane but just found out that Midas does it for $40 cheaper. The place to go for all your car needs!

Went in for an inspection. The water pump needed replacement, and I was grateful they found this, bc the leaking coolant could have been a very bad situation. They also said my suspension components were quite worn, which would explain the shimmy I was feeling at high speeds. Any expensive car repair is a blow but I was glad to at least know about the issued. I called them back and said I could afford to do the water pump only now. The manager (Mike) asked me if I wanted to do a payment plan. I agreed bc even the water pump alone was an unexpected expense. He said something like "Alright, then we can get everything taken care of." This is a very vague and general statement and I took that to mean the only repair I authorized verbally (the water pump). The manager assumed incorrectly that I wanted to do the shocks and struts also, even though he never mentioned them specifically when I called to authorize the water pump repair only. He claims that he did, but if that was the case, I definitely would have corrected him. When I went to pick up the car, I presented the issue and said I simply couldn't pay it. I didn't get very far, although I was given a discount as mollification. I am not unappreciative, but still felt the situation was quite unfair. I didn't see that I had any other recourse at the moment and just signed the payment plan because I couldn't afford to miss work because of a lack of transportation. Maybe I would have eventually had to get the suspension done, but definitely not at Midas (way overpriced labor). I submitted a complaint through the SOS Bureau of Regulatory Services, if only because the unclear communication deserves it. And this is unfortunately the norm with most repair shops. The customer service and communication of most places I've taken my car to would get you in trouble in a lot of other industries. As a woman I just really don't trust any repair shops anymore, and will in the future be annoying and verify 10+ times that what they're doing on my car is ONLY what I specifically authorized. If there's a certain accepted vague communication style for auto repair employees on the phone, it needs a major overhaul. I wish I could avoid all car repair shops, but I'd especially avoid this one if you can't afford an expensive error like this. 2 stars because I am not trying to be completely ungrateful and while the results were disappointing, my dispute with the manager was actually pretty polite.

We have used this Midas for many years. They recently changed management and this is our first experience with the new team. Everything went great. Alex was super easy to work with. The work got done very fast and they beat all competitors prices. It's been over a week and no problems, no follow up issues. A generally pleasant experience. Worthy of a try if you've never used them before.

Due to the snow/ice, the front bumper and plastic shield below my low-riding car was gradually falling off as I was driving to work. I m a teacher, and I was amazed that they acted so quickly, got my car fixed up better than it even was before! Everyone was so polite, honest, and helpful. I 100% recommend their service and the crew!

Alex is great!! I went in with a check engine light on, he took the time to explain everything to me and when I asked if I would have my car back by Monday afternoon he said he would try to have it done the next day. This is the best midas experience I've ever had.

Midas was great, they took the time to diagnose my Honda and save my transmission so I didn t have to shell out thousands on a new transmission. It felt like they really cared about fixing my car to their best ability. They were fast too! I recommend this Midas for your auto repair needs!

I've been going to the Midas at Jackson and Stadium for a couple years now. They do great work and they're dependable. My engine light came on and the diagnostic showed that it was the catalytic converter. The dealership wanted $3000 to change it out. The guys at Midas found that it was a $50 sensor that had gone bad.You get far more service at a better price even on oil changes. That 5 minute place down the street doesn't include a free tire rotation and system check. My go-to place for my car maintenance and repairs is Midas.

I 100% recommend this place for any car/tire troubles.It's hard to write a review that sounds candid, so I'll be straightforward: if you have an auto repair problem and you are trying to figure out where to take it, I cannot stress enough how this place is the right option.I know it's difficult it determine where to go. You just want to find a place where you won't get screwed over. Well, this is the place. The manager, Alex, was completely straightforward with everything. No price gouging, no "mysterious" problem that you never noticed before. If there was an issue or you had a question about something, he'd make apparent exactly what the issue is and give an honest answer.All in all, if you want to solve your car problems knowing you got the best deal, and from a respectable person, then go here

Got a flat tire on the highway right before the Jackson Rd. exit and made my way to Midas and they immediately got me in and taken care of. Very professional and kind and quick turn around time. 10/10 recommend.

Alex, the store's leader explained everything in specific details prior to any services rendered! He also presented me with ALL available options from the resolution to financing. He was patient, empathetic, and explained (visually and physically) the gravity of the situation if not resolved sooner than later. He was able to take care of the most immediate issues right away andwithout breaking my pocket book. I definitely recommend this Midas Store!

It was a day during the snow storm got a flat tire. Got off the highway and seen this location got there told them what happen and told them I will get four tires. I still have a 2 hour drive home is this really bad weather. Then he showed us how my breaks was about to be metal on metal one good hard break and the pads would be gone so had my breaks done. Thanks to Alex Wolfe he was wonderful and caring. Paid a lot of money but it was money that had to be spent to get home safely. Thanks Alex for being patient and getting us back in the road.

I needed an oil change and saw Midas had a coupon so I booked online. Even though no appts were available for day of online, Alex was able to fit me in day of when I called. He had it done before 1pm - without an appointment! Also included an inspection with pictures of each area - super helpful. I learned they have a loyal punch card where every 5th oil change is free. This along with not trying to upsell me on anything, I will definitely be back. Thanks Alex!

Alex and his staff are great people to work with I find the integrity to be refreshing. I purchased a car and brought it here to have it looked at, and they told me everything that was wrong with it and even gave me suggestions on how to return your car. (I did) and I was able to return it and purchase a different car, thank you Alex and staff!

This place is awesome! I had a leaky tire and Alex was the only person in the area that went out of his way to make sure my tire was fixed right away so I would have a safe trip up north. All the other local shops made me request an appointment days out. I would go back here for service the next time something comes up.

My guy Devin at Midas on Jackson ave in Ann Arbor was amazing . Any questions I needed , he answered and was accurate . Also the mechanics who worked on my car did a great job too . Moral of the story they do phenomenal work .

I'm on my way from Detroit to Chicago to take my little girl to her dad's funeral and my TPMS light comes on. So I get off the expressway to find somewhere to check the tires for me and found this Midas...they were so helpful and kind and made sure we're safe to continue on our trip. Highly recommend.
