Best auto repair shop in Ann Arbor. Edgar and the guys were very quick and efficient with their work. Edgar was always transparent of what needed to be done and how much it would come out to. My old car feels brand new once again after leaving GTM. Highly recommend! They got themselves a new customer!

My entire A/C system had to be replaced, including the serpentine belt, tensioner, compressor, a/c dryer-accumulator, reservoir (orifice tube) among many other parts. I was quoted an amount that was significantly less than the dealer and the repair was completed promptly. This was a whole lot of work for a terrific price with an amazing attitude! I plan to return if my car needs additional work.

This place is the Best! So much cheaper than everywhere else and so much quicker too! Both times I ve used them I am able to get my car in same day and they are able to Diagnose it same same too. Work is either done same day or within 24 hours. Edgar, the owner is the best. He doesn t try to buckle and dime you and convince you to get things you don t need. I just got my brakes, rotors, and and tires replaced and he was able to find me an amazing deal on the tires and even upgraded me to the better brand of rotors free of charge l, just because he didn t have the mid range ones on hand and didn t want me to have to be careless and wait forever for the other ones to come in. And he gave me a 1 year warranty of the parts replaced. Also, at least for my car, he said the oil change would only be like $60. Way cheaper than $100-$120 I m used to paying as these other scammer oil change places. I will not be taking my car to get fixed anywhere else. Love this place!

Do not go to these snakes..1 they lie about the time frame of having your car done 7 days will turn to 21 days. Reason 2 I brought my car in for a water pump to get done just for him to lie and say it wasn't the water pump he checked it was the head gasket then proceeded to try and charge an 2500 for that replacement on top of the 1400 he was going to charge to "Replace" the water pump saying if I wanted to replace the water pump it would still over heat..but in reality if we would have agreed to just change the water pump he woulda pocketed 1400 for word of mouth no proof of actually fixing anything lucky enough I have great intuition and didn't trust him. I end up taking it to a mechanic I can trust and low n behold it was for sure my water pump; antifreeze pouring out of where the water pump and seal of the pump is located...I'm telling anyone who is reading this do not put your trust in these guys seriously

Long story **I took my car in end of February stating I needed a new water pump and timing chain . He quoted me 1500 parts included . Ok cool , my car was at his shop two weeks . He hadn t so much as looked at my car with his eye (he didn t believe me when I said the tow truck dropped it off , he was too lazy to look out the door and see my car starting back at him , when he finally looked he seen it was there ) 8 days later it was in the same spot . I picked up my car and started sourcing shops again . No luck as everyone was looking for $2600. -$ 3500 for the fix so against my better judgement I went back to him . He had my car a week before calling saying my head gasket was the problem . Mind you my husband had just came and got my registration out the car the day before and his shop opens at 10am if he just pulled my car in to start work how did you find it was the head gasket in 6 hours ???? I told him I d pick my car up he said I owed him nothing . I said I would tip for his time . Do you know when I came to get my car he wanted $50 . He fid absolutely no work on my car at all !! He was trying to gouge the price and then only fix the water and pump and Timing chain that was the problem all along . I wouldn t take my damn screw driver to this shop . I will be finding out how to report this to the better business bureau and if you are having car issues , look elsewhere as this shop will only add stress to a already stressful time .Ps I had a experienced street mechanic fix my water pump and timing chain . My car is finally back on the road after 2 long months of ba back and forth with Gtm auto .

I'm new to Ann Arbor so I was looking for a shop to fix my Pontiac. They were super quick to find the problem with my car. They walked me through the problem and gave me a couple different options. They were super responsive and easy to reach. My car is now working great. Their pricing is VERY good. Will definitely be coming back. Can't recommend them enough. My sister's car broke down and we were able to bring it into GTM almost immediately. These autoworkers went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and gave us a fair price. Truthfully, my family and friends will never go anywhere else.

I m very satisfied with GTM. Edger is very honest and he will get straight to the point of what you need to fix. The prices are really Good for the awesome work that he always does when I take my car to get it fixed at GTM. His teammates are awesome and they are always working hard. In the past eight years, I ve gone to GTM Auto for all of my auto repairs! With my most recent visit, I am yet again reminded why Edgar and his crew are my favorite in town! The service I experienced was charismatic, diligent, and overall magnificent! These gentlemen are very knowledgeable, seasoned mechanics and fair with pricing 10/10 recommended!! Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future!

Dropped off my car right before the holiday, for a minor scratch. They did an amazing job and even helped out with a small dent in the bumper. Great communication and service. Highly recommend.

I went to GTM Auto Repair for an oil change along with an engine cooler pressure test. I was in and out pretty fast. The manager was great, he gave good insights on my car and I trust his opinion. I will be back in the future!

This was my first time I went for my car repair, ever. They examine my car next day and found the water pump and serpentine belt is broken. I don t know anything about cars so I don t know if that was the issue or I have been charged more. But when I went to pickup my car, showed me the broken parts. By looking at those parts I can tell they changed me correct. They Remove and replace water pump and serpentin belt for around $500

Edgar is a super nice dude. Needed new ignition coils and spark plugs. Got me in quick and prices are great, half of what I was quoted at another place. There was a misfiring issue a week later and he took care of it no problem. Car is running smooth now. No-nonsense shop and I ll be back.

they replaced the clutch on my 13 focus ST. definitely fair pricing, quick turnaround time (2 days), and seemed super knowledgeable (had a part recommendation right away for my stage 3 focus), edgar was super helpful - highly recommend!!

GTM was recommended to me by a nearby auto parts store. So glad I took them up on their suggestion! The guys are friendly. And Edgar has always given me pricing up front (always reasonable) so I can make a decision right then about what I can afford and what has to wait. Edgar also explains my options, the work he's going to do, and why it's important great knowledge for someone who doesn't know cars like me. I've had my brakes and rotors replaced, tires changed/balanced, and my 15-yo corroded wheels sanded and powder-coated. Everything turned out great!

GTM is awesome! They are definitely #1 on my list for auto repairs. Edgar is trustworthy, honest and reliable. They do great work at a reasonable cost. I was recommended to GTM auto for a big repair of new head gasket. The car was returned sooner than they originally told me. On the way home the car stopped working and I had it towed back to GTM and they replaced the alternator free of charge. The car has been working well ever since. I recommend them as I found them to be honest and have integrity in their work and dealing with customers.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I LOVE this place! They are HONEST and definitely know what they are doing. My car had a major issue and not only was it fixed in a timely manner, they kept me informed every step of the way and made me aware of different options and costs for the parts. I really appreciate how honest they were and they did a fantastic job my repair. PLUS the repair is guaranteed for 1 year. They even do oil changes for a better rate than the major chain place I used to go for. Would definitely recommend!

Edgar and the team are awesome! Being someone who usually work on all of our vehicles when I get too busy these guys always come through. They are quick, stay late to get the job done and are fair with their pricing. If you are the type of person who enjoys a mom and pop feel with honest service this is the place to go. Only guys I will trust with my vehicles.

I ve used GTM twice. Super reliable, great prices, so fast with repairs. I just called Edgar at 320 pm on Friday asking for brakes and rotors changed by Sunday and they got them done by 620 pm on Friday same day! Super grateful for GTM services!

Ever since I have gotten my first car I have always came to Edgar for everything. I trust his opinion and everything he says. Edgar WILL NOT over charge you like other mechanics will. You won't spend an arm and a leg to get your car fixed. Edgar is also very friendly and he listens to your concerns. You would be doing yourself and your car a disservice by not going to him.Service: Brakes

Outstanding work! Was so happy to be able to work with Edgar and his mechanics, as a retired mechanic myself I was extremely impressed with the work he had done. Ann Arbor is an expensive town to get auto repairs done with okay craftsmanship GTM is the exception to typical Ann Arbor auto repair shops and is the best in town at the lowest price.

Best Auto Repair shop in Ann Arbor. GTM deserves the best rating because they have been doing great jobs to, not just me but, everyone who brings their car in. Ive been taking my car there for awhile and i always leave satisfied with the job they do. The crew is outstanding. Very well done jobs, and great prices.

Edgar was very nice and genuine. He was very helpful and got me in and out in a very timely manner. His pricing seems to be very fair which is extremely uncommon in the Ann Arbor area. They also do very thorough, good work. I would strongly recommend checking GTM Auto out!!
