RUN! RUN FAST AND FAR AWAY! These guys had my truck for over six months and it is still not fixed. They put used parts on your vehicle and they lie to you. They towed my vehicle after an accident and said they could get it right in, and that all the other body shops had at least a one month wait. Well this turned into six months of pain and torture and lies and scams. Vehicle is still not fixed. I took my vehicle to my local mechanic for a tuneup after the vehicle came out of the body shop and I had him double check the quality of work that was done at Grants. There were around a dozen issues that my mechanic brought to my attention, including bad paint, several used parts, incorrectly, installed parts, paint on the windshield, dent in bumper, airbag lights, seatbelt lights. The truck also died on me on the way to get a second opinion from my mechanic. To top it off, they put all of the used truck parts in the bed of my truck and when I went to go put my luggage in the truck to head to the airport, I couldn t even put my suitcase in there because there was so many of the truck parts back there. I took my truck back to have them fix all of the issues my mechanic highlighted. They took two more weeks, and when I went to pick it up, the dent in the used bumper they installed was still there, then they tried accusing me of denting it during the couple days I had it at my mechanic for second opinion. These are just bad dudes doing bad business. I hate to write stuff like this but I hate to see another customer get scammed.

I've been coming here for over 2 years, since I moved to the area. I've been a very satisfied customer until recently. They've taken care of many problems and done well and always been prompt and personable. As other reviewers have mentioned, they were honest and willing to explain things to me and as a woman, I never felt they were overcharging me or trying to scam me. The mechanics would talk to me and show me things on my vehicle. It seems like they've had a change in their staff, both office and mechanics. This past week I had my car towed to Grant's because I had a significant oil leak. They told me it was a transmission oil cooling line leak and I paid $378 to have it repaired. I drove it home 7 miles and the next morning, there was another puddle of oil under my engine. I drove it to a closer mechanic to have things looked at and am now facing a larger bill to replace all the cooling lines, including the one Grant's supposedly replaced. The shop told me it was not completely replaced and that it was still leaking oil. When I talked to Grant's about this, they claimed that the line had been totally replaced and that it was the only one leaking when I dropped it off. Mind you there was still a significant leak after I drove it less than 10 miles and it sat for one night. It just seems like their work on this issue was very sloppy and not thorough, unlike the quality work I've had done here in the past.It's too bad; I really enjoyed this shop and was always happy bringing my vehicle here, but I no longer feel comfortable doing so.

these guys saved me! they towed my car to their shop around 11:30pm after i blew a tire on I-94 and myself, kind strangers, AND triple a was unable to replace the tire. they offer a discount if you tow to their shop. they replaced the tire promptly, and i was able to collect my car the next day during my lunch break.

They sold out to thieves! The good reviews on here are from the previous company! The most recent 5 star reviews are lies!They have a monopoly in the area and contract with all the police so they can get away with breaking your vehicles. I stopped bringing my vehicle here because they will sabotage it. I only came in for an oil change and they broke the water pump, the thermostat, the radiator and the engine. My car was working fine and it is a 2022 vehicle and now it heats up to fast. Can only go 25mph now and engine is shot.

The worst mechanic experience ever! Had my vehicle for months only to overheat and catch fire before I even made it home after picking it. Went to pick it up the second time, they had sent it to the scrap yard and had its engine completely torn out. Wouldn t even give me a full refund! Never go here!

These guys are just incredible! They were not only willing to replace what my car desperately needed, they did it all at such a fair price. They were kind, knowledgeable, and even checked my car over to ensure it wouldn't break down on my daughter and I. I'm so incredibly grateful to this place for what they do, they are absolute lifesavers!!! 15/10 recommended!

I have been going to Grants for years and highly recommend them. I recently bought a used car for my daughter and asked if they would inspect it first. Twan at Grants said he d hold a bay for me so I could get it in right away. They did the inspection and quoted me for the needed repairs in under an hour! I was so grateful to have someone I trusted give their blessing on the vehicle purchase for my daughter and will continue taking all of my vehicles to Grants.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They got a tow truck out to me super fast and inspected my car quickly and thoroughly. I thought I'd need a lot of costly work done, but they identified it was only a minor issue. Other places may have tried to take advantage of my pocketbook, but Grant's was honest and I really appreciated that! Also, their pricing was terrific! I've been charged almost double by other tow and repair places for the same amount of service.

Absolutely awesome service! Are wheel snapped off on our truck downtown Ann Arbor we Grant's dispatch for a flatbed. Dispatcher was awesome in the flatbed driver Jason that came and got our truck was very professional and very fast. I've never seen someone maneuver a flatbed so swiftly! they have a great hook up and mileage rate compared to anyone else towing! Thanks again Grant's towing!

4 hours of labor ($500) and 30 hours after drop-off they repaired my brake drum and pads.Slow service, rude employees, terrible communication.

A wonderful shop, very honest work. They won't do anything unnecessary without double checking with me first. As a woman, I have never felt talked down to. They've showed me the work they're doing, even helped me to help myself a couple of times, and are always happy to answer any questions thoroughly.

As a landscaper I depend on partners to keep our crews on the road. Grant's is the perfect partner for us - I can depend on them to respond quickly, help provide services where they can and to offer an honest recommendation for what we should do next when they can't help. They are also really friendly - which is nice when you're having a hard, stressful day topped off by needing a tow. Thanks Grant's - keep up the wonderful work.

This is my go to place they have always taken good care of me and my car needs.. even if it was on a weekly basis . They are amazing! I won't take my vehicle any other place. Very straightforward, no hidden fees or made up stuff that is not broken .Very honest folks. Also, they are connected with carfax, so if your car has a carfax the work you have done there goes on your carfax report

They explained everything to me. They didn't just fix what I thought was wrong. They took their time to run tests on my car to make sure that what they were fixing was the right thing. They didn't charge me anything because they know I'm going to come back to get the repair done as I couldn't get it done that day. Definitely a place for women to go and get their car fixed and know that they're not going to get screwed over.

It's hard to find a good honest auto repair shop. A friend told suggested Grant's Automotive & Towing. I took my truck there for several repairs. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Now I'll be recommending grants to all my family and friends. As a retired professional mechanic I know quality workmanship. That's why I rated them 5 Star.

After being run into in Dexter, Grant's Towing was called to take the car. The truck came in a very short time. The driver was compassionate and professional. Later I was assisted in getting personal items out of the vehicle. I'm very happy with this service.

We waited on AAA for three hours, got fed up, called Grant's and were towed out within 35 minutes. The technician was extremely professional, polite, and helped us out of a muddy road with rising water. Cancelled our AAA membership and going with Grant's from now on!

Grant s towed my vehicle and damaged the front bumper and denied responsibility. I would never recommend this company to anyone due to the condescending attitude toward me. Accountability and integrity are still valuable assets to possess.

My car broke down a few nights ago on the highway. Jeff arrived quickly and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Car problems are never enjoyable but he made the experience a very pleasant one for us. Thank you, Jeff!

I came in last minute with a stalling car and John was nice enough to test my battery and alternator for me. When I asked how much he responded. "Don't worry about it". Guess where ill be taking my car for its repairs now!! ??! Thank you John. :)

Me and my family were on our way to NC when van broke down called grants they came picked van up and took me and my family to hotel near them they open the next morning at 8 we had to be out of room by 11 they had us on the road by1030 and came back to hotel to take me to their shop to get my van thank you you guys saved out vacationService: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I called for a lock out and the gentleman answered while he was at dinner with his family. He and his wife looked up a place closer to me that would be cheaper since I was out of their usual service area. That kind of service is very unusual these days!
