The team at Gerber is friendly, professional, and they did a great job. The repairs to my vehicle weren't super huge, but nonetheless they did nice work bringing it back to new. I received daily status updates by text message, which was unexpected and appreciated.I was recommended to Gerber by word of mouth, and on Nextdoor. Despite the issues everyone is having with parts these days, the repair was done in a timely manner. And it looks great. Walker was professional and kept me updated. Laura was very helpful and friendly too. I think they take pride in their work and value their customers. The front office is clean and doesn't smell like paint or car fumes like many repair shops.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Walker and the crew at Gerber did a FANTASTIC job repairing the extensive crunched up dents in the passenger side doors of my car. There were no cut corners, the job was perfectly completed (you can't tell it was ever damaged), and they were a good "go-between" while handling communication with the insurance company. They were professional, friendly, informative, and most importantly...they kept me up to date almost daily with personal contact, to let me know how the job was proceeding. They finished with the job right on time...in fact it actually was one day earlier than I was able to pick it up. I will never go anywhere else for body work (but hopefully I will never need to...).Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The staff at Dusty's Collision West are great! They kept me informed of availability of the loaner vehicle and when the car would be finished. You get the BEST customer service here. The color of the vehicle had metallic undertones and they matched it perfectly! Great work and great customer service! They will get you in and out quickly!

After my three month old Prius was damaged by an uninsured motorist running a stop sign, both my insurance company and my auto dealer recommended Dusty's West, so I set up to have repair work done here. It wasn't until after I'd dropped the car off and needed to call to advise them I left something in the vehicle that I saw the large number of negative reviews. I was a bit nervous but had already committed to them doing the work. Through the entire process I found everyone that I spoke to at Dusty's to be professional and courteous. Brandon in particular was awesome to work with. When I got my car back I couldnt even tell that it was a different door - it looked as good as new. On top of that, they fully detailed the car inside and out which I didn't expect. I realize that obviously some folks have had bad experiences if they are leaving one star reviews, but based on my own experience I would absolutely give Dusty's my return business and recommend them to family and friends.

I am beyond thrilled with Gerber Collision and Glass! I came in with a piece of my vehicle that ripped off and the kind gentleman fixed it free of charge within ten minutes!! How amazing! no one likes to deal with car wrecks but if you ever have to;Gerber Collision is where you want to go...From the first phone call i had to make until i was leaving their lot;Gerber Collision made the entire experience much more pleasant than I would have anticipated . not only did they give their best efforts to repair our vehicle, but they finished early! Their work was excellent and their warranty is the best I've ever seen in the auto industry.Thanks Tammy and staff!

Initial estimation of labor was 3 days, finally received my car 5 days later. Unlike their claims, they do not keep their customers informed of the status of their vehicle. I called repeatedly for a status update, but no one would return my call, including the general manager. I finally asked them if they would cover the cost of a rental. I would have given them 2 stars, if it weren't for the fact that they agreed to cover this cost. They did do a nice job on the vehicle, but if you need your vehicle in a timely fashion, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Great customer service with Dusty's Collision on Wagner Road! Dave and his team are knowledgeable, were great at explaining the damages, costs, and the process. They helped with vehicle rental, worked quickly with insurance, and kept close communication with me over the speedy course of repair. They truly care for for clients; making an unexpected accident as stress-free as possible. I would recommend contacting Dusty's for any auto body and collision repairs.

We had to replace the rear bumper on our 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 a few weeks ago. They did a fantastic job from the time I got the estimate until I picked up the car. Rear bumper was a perfect match. Work was done very quickly. All the people I dealt with there were very professional and personable. I would recommend them to others.

I was very impressed with the service I received at Dusty's West. My car came back to me as if I never were in an accident. They even detailed my car that was such a bonus!!! Thank you to my awesome estimator for being very helpful during such big ordeal. I will continue to use this collision shop if there are any accidents in the future.

Some jerk drove off without leaving any note after seriously denting my car with their door. Dustys provided a loaner vehicle (I had to go on a short wait list) and fixed it up like it never happened. They gave us a detailed estimate ahead of time and stuck to it. Good service, friendly people. What more can you want?

I have to agree with the negative reviews. Twice, I have dealt with Zahn's - never again.First time to install an automatic car starter. 2 weeks and it never was done properly. I gave up.Second time due to a car accident - it took weeks for them to repair what they said would take a week. They never called with updates and returned the car with three new tires and one old one on the front! I certainly would have paid for a fourth new tire if I was kept up to date on the progress of repair.

Avoid this place!!!!!!!! for reasons described belowBackground: BMW SUV. Dent on passenger and driver doors.The Good:*Repair was above average (in relation to the work most body shops do). Especially the painting.The Bad:*It took 7 WEEKS to finish a quoted 6 day repair (Which I was told would originally take 2 days...)*No communication**No call backs. Fake time estimates to get you off the phone. Nobody knows anything about whats going on with the car in the repair process*Repair was unfinished when I was finally told to pick car up*Put a hole in my tire*Broke the latch on my trunk taking my spare out****Didn't ask for permission nor were they planning to tell me about either*No loaner cars given. No talk about paying for a rental car*Promised a full detail job on the car before returning. Detail job was rushed. Car wasn't entirely cleaned**No price negotiation. Would not admit mistakes. Dismissed all complaints*ODOMETER READ 150 MILES OVER!!!!! what the car was booked in as (its possible that it was a clerical error as I stupidly did not look at the odometer myself when dropping the car off, but very unlikely!)*The repair itself**Door panel wasn't put together properly and is now loose**Trim wasn't put on properly and is bending slightly (will probably have to get this fixed in the future)The shop made no effort to fix or even admit these mistakes. Loved to brag about how much it cost them to fix the trunk they broke! Employees are mostly pleasant, but can be become very rude when their practices are challenged.

If you want a shop that doesn't call you back, doesn't let you know when your car is ready, doesn't notify you to delays in your repair, tells you that your car is ready when it isn't then Zahn's is the place for you. I was told that my car would be ready in two weeks, there was a problem with delivery for parts they needed so they extended their date by another two weeks. That's fine I understand parts delay is not their fault in the least. Then they kept extending their date, I finally got my car 43 days after I left my car at the shop - when I was told that they needed two weeks. I was only updated when I called them and even then sometimes I couldn't talk to the people that I needed to and had to wait for a call back (that more than half the time I didn't get a call back at all). If I could give zero stars I would, I'm never using Zahn's again and I'm definitely going to tell anybody who needs a body shop not to use them. The only time they were helpful was when I dropped off my car and were then guaranteed my business because I couldn't move my car after they started working on it.

Well after some hesitation of reading the poor reviews written, I had called and spoke to very friendly attendant there with some concerns of having my car detailed. I need to have some paint removed on the exterior of my car and have some rail dust removed out of the clear coat. Fully explained everything to the attendant on the phone and she said sure no problem please bring your car in and we will take a look at it. I had brought my car in early that Saturday morning. After a very short wait. I spole to a woman and explain the details and she took a look at my car and then regretfully told me that they would not be able to handle my problem but the shop next door would. But it being a Saturday that shop was closed so I would have to bring my car back another time to have them assess the situation. About a half an hour after I left the shop they did give me a call back telling me that they would be able to handle the problem that I was having and if I would like to bring my car back that day they can take a look at it. I wasn't able to bring my car back in that morning and she said no problem they will give me a call and set up a time when the shop manager could look at my car. I had never received a phone call back from them so they could take a second look at the car. It's really funny because prior to me leaving I did speak to the lady about the poor reviews of their auto shop that I had seen here. Well if always true and what I went through then I could see why there are poor reviews on their shop. I do understand that you cannot make everyone happy and that every individual is different. But I would like to think that if you did work at any place of employment for any duration of time you should know your job well enough to be able to give the correct advice and to also follow through to make sure that another poor review is not left.

Took our show car to the one on Jackson Ave, what a mistake! Screwed up a decal that they put on wrong in the first place, we had to buy another decal and they ripped it saying it sat to long on a shelf, when we called the company, very reputable, that we bought the decal from they said all decals are print to order. Now we are on our 3rd $100 decal and let me assure you, they will not be touching it. The life time warranty on the first one has cost us double. Stay away from this company, poor ethics!!!

I can't say enough nice things about Dusty's. I have had to take two cars in for repair the past 6 months and they were nothing but helpful, kind, and got the job done right. They gave me rides and made this process a whole lot easier. Highly recommended.

I would seriously suggest not going to this place. I was supposed to get my car back on 12/18, then it got pushed to 12/19, then I was told I'd get it by 12/25, and I finally got it on 12/26. When I did pick it up, I had a big crack in the windshield which they didn't tell me about and I ended up having to make another claim for that (although they did pay my deductible so that's a plus). By the time I drove home that day, the check engine light turned on (but I can't say for sure this was related to the repair).There were 8 or 9 instances where I was told I would get a call back on a particular day and I did not. I would have to call back 2 or 3 times to get a hold of someone who could provide me with an update.The one plus is that they did a very good job on the repairs and they cleaned my car inside and out. It literally took 8 weeks for me to be able to drive my car again (I had to get my windshield replaced and the check engine light issue resolved).

They will give you a great turnaround date that they will later on extend to more then double, left my car for repair there and ended up pulling it out because they were going to take too long to repair found my car In worst shape from before it was taken there, scratches everywhere , glass window glue on my interiror and back seat. Highly recommend to avoid taking anything there. Over all -5 stars. Custumer service -10.

Worst experience ever!!! I truly wish I checked their reviews before I went there. When I dropped off the car, I was told it will take a week. When I called a week later they said it will take another week. When I called the end of second week they hadn't even touched my car!!! and they even told me I could come and get it if needed and bring it back when I had more time. It took them 29 days to finish the job and nobody ever calls you to update or even show the courtesy to return your phone calls. Makes me wonder how they stay in business....

I think something must have happened at this company. They have had my car for 6 months, communication with them is IMPOSSIBLE and their employee turnover has been almost 100% since I started my saga with them. I would not recommend them to ANYONE. My insurance company says they have never seen anything like this. When they have given me status on my auto, it has been wrong, and I have no confidence that my car will be well repaired when I do get it. I expect the saga to continue.

Dusty's West was amazing. Restored my wife's Lexus to "better than new". And did it at a fraction of what Dealership quoted. And delivered it early so she would have her convertible for Labor Day Weekend.

Estimated time to complete repairs 5 business days. Actual time to complete repairs 3 1/2 weeks (18 business days). They actually dodged my phone calls after the second week. I have to say ANYWHERE is better to take your car than here. Jennifer is a complete and utter liar. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

After 40 years of driving, Bambi found me at 60 mph in rural Wisconsin. Jeep Grand Cherokee was OK to drive back to Ann Arbor. Came here on recommendation of my fishing partner who has been around this region since 1970s. Estimate over $2K. Kept up to date and everyone helpful. Even with 2 winter storms and a supplier delay (and calls keeping me posted), it was delivered in excellent shape within a day of anticipated delivery date. On budget. Stunningly beautiful job on a Jeep with over 100K miles on it. Like new. Owe fishing buddy a beer next time Up North.

Hypothetical Scenario: A company is in debt to its vendors and the bank, the vendors will not send additional supplies until a specific dollar amount has been satisfied against monies due, the company has a few big jobs to carry them from month to month and a couple of small ones to meet the more pressing bills. The company receives payment upfront on their couple of large jobs which they use to finish the other jobs that have been sitting untouched for months. Meanwhile, the customer is promised a day when the job will be finished, but that day keeps getting pushed back by weeks and even months. The customer has limited recourse against the company since they already have their money.I am not saying that this is what is happening at Zahn s, but in the past I have seen countless companies fail because of this vicious cycle.IF YOU TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO ZAHN S:DO NOT expect a call with updatesDO NOT expect the vehicle to be ready the day they say it will be readyDO NOT expect any degree of professionalism or customer serviceDO NOT expect the repairs to be done correctly or a timely manner

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE - It took 3 MONTHS for my car to be fixed after a rear end collision. ZAHNS in writing agreed to pay for my rental after the 30 day insurance rental period. A few days after I picked up my car I got a call from ENTERPRISE RENTAL that they couldn't collect from ZAHN's and DUSTY'S said they aren't taking on ZAHN's bills. Now I have to go to court.to collect the $1200 rental money.DEALING WITH THESE COMPANIES HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!!!
