They repaired a cosmetic dent on the side of my truck bed. The nearest repair assessment was 3 weeks out. Then it took 3-4 weeks to find parts. During the repair, they said that they found a part that was torn and on back-order, and there was no way to see it in the initial assessment (internal to bed, invisible from exterior). This turned my 2-week repair into 5 weeks (they never got the part in those 5 weeks, they welded the tear instead). When I picked it up I noticed I could see the welded tear in my wheel well standing 4 feet away from my truck (see pictures). They had lied that it was impossible to see until after pulling apart my truck. Instead, they had overlooked it. It took another 1.5 weeks to get new bed stickers (needed one on each side, because while under their care a lawn mower shot a rock at one of them, damaging the sticker, but not the bed - why was it outside? How is only sticker damage possible?). I m very disappointed with my experience here, and I only used this place because the previous experience a few years back was good. I m just lucky I insisted they try to repair the torn part, because otherwise my truck would still be inoperable sitting outside at Gerber awaiting a part on indefinite back-order and more lawn mower rocks, and they d still be telling me, there s no way we could ve known that part was broken. After experiencing collision damage along the left side of my Model 3 I landed on Gerber to complete the repair.The Model 3 has aluminum door panels which makes traditional dent removal very difficult. During my estimate they walked through the repair process (replace door panels, transfer internals, paint match, etc.) and answered all of my questions.Gerber worked with insurance and arranged a rental through Enterprise. After the repair was completed I was able to leave the rental there and drive away in my repaired vehicle. Overall a very painless process.After the repair was completed they detailed the car a bit and then provided care instructions along with having someone walk around the vehicle with me to talk about what was done, how to care for it, etc.My repair timeline:10/9/22 - Accident10/10/22 - Estimate Scheduled11/11/22 - Estimate (~20-30 min visit)01/28/23 - Drop off for repair02/6/23 - Repair completetldr at time of writing:$500 refundable deposit for tesla parts, tesla certified body shop (have software and tooling to complete repairs), longer wait compared to other centers but positive experience nonetheless.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I waited 30 minutes in the lot until they opened, walked inside and asked if an estimator was available to look at a scuff on my bumper. The nice lady at the front desk said estimators were in morning meetings and estimates were booked out 2 to 3 weeks. They weren t too motivated for my business.

They got me in for the repair quicker by far than any other shop, the work was done impeccably and my car was 10 times cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. I have been to other Gerbers but this one was better because of the detailing my car got and how nice it was when I picked it up.

Just picked up my car from Gerber on South Industrial and it looks fantastic! There was a delay in getting the car fixed but it wasn't Gerber's fault; the parts were damaged in transit but I was out of town so it didn't matter. They even detailed the interior which I was not expecting. Walker did a great job handling everything. I highly recommend them if you need bodywork done.Service: Body & Trim

I had a crazy accident that wasn t my fault, but my Insurance I was paying $100 a month for wouldn t cover it. That was a hard lesson to learn. I went with them because they are very close to my house. They were so great working with me on the cost and making repairs affordable for me. They had enterprise pick me up and everything it was just a great experience. I would use again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

South Industrial, Ann Arbor location VERY RUDE FRONT DESK At a time when we are already distressed and looking for help, the front desk attendant was rude, unwilling to help or offer solutions, and honestly could care less. Recommendation even if you don t care, act like you do. In this world of selfishness one person can make or break your day. Kindness pass it on. I would recommend the Jackson Road location.

After estimate on my tesla y they said they will order parts and start the work. It took them 4 months to order part. I explained them that my insurance don't pay for my rental and it will be my expense to rent a car so once all the parts are here I will drop my car. They gave me 7 to 10 days to fix my car. But took them almost 4 times the estimate time they gave me.2 weeks after i dropped off my car they didn't even start repair work.when they updated me that body work is done and it's gone for painting which will take 2 to 3 day and 2 weeks later it was still not done. They even promised me that because it took them so long they will pay for my rental. But then said it was not approved when I asked them at pickup. Please do not mislead people about how long to fix the car.I was very disappointed about how long it took them to complete the work. And lying about helping with the rental. I took estimate from 3 different places but decided gerber because I thought it's big place so they will be more professional and keep there promise but disappointed. I think they take more work then they can handle and just keeps car longer and make up some excuse.

I was in a head on collision back at the end of October 2022. The VW dealer recommended this facility.My car was towed in.I was receiving frequent updates about until December 2022.In November of 2022 I received a voicemail that we were waiting on specifically a fender panel and some other parts for my vehicle. I expected somewhat of a wait due to the make and model of my car.Later in November I received an update that we were now awaiting my fender panel as the only remaining partOn December 13th I received a call with voicemail that all parts were in and that the car was going to the body shop and then to paint.Next week, same update. This continued until early January.In early January 2023 I received a call that the radiator support was ordered and that the part received was not correct for my vehicle, but that the correct one was being ordered and that the vehicle was still being worked on.No updates came after this.Early February I decided to get the manager involved due to the inconsistencies. I included my insurance provider as well.The manager reassured me this was being looked into, and there was an estimated date within one week to have the vehicle completed.Shortly thereafter I received another call from Gerber stating there were more missing parts that were "ordered incorrectly"; An air tube and and a headlight bracket. They then assured me that said parts were being ordered. On this call I requested my battery be replaced as well since the car had been sitting well past 3 months.On February 28th, I received another call stating there were even more parts not yet received.I once again involved the manager in this. Through our communications, he determined there were even more parts missing or ordered incorrectly and reassured me it was being handled.After asking, I was finally offered compensation of a rental car OR having Gerber pay my deductible. I chose the latter.Finally on March 8th I was contacted via email that my car would be ready the next day. I sent an email and we planned to pick the vehicle up at a set time.I left on my lunch and when I arrive to pick up the vehicle, they attempted to have me sign for the vehicle, but when viewing the care, the cover to the keyhole was missing. We were then told "Oh, a manager was supposed to call you. We cannot get the key fob to connect and have to send it to the dealership". This ordeal took 2 hours of time to resolve.Gerber was able to get my car to the dealership and back and then called a day or so later saying my car was ready for pickup.When I arrived they tried to charge me the deductible. When I got in the vehicle, the radio would not turn on. I had to wait as they fixed the fuse to the radio.Upon attempting to leave again my turn signal was rapidly clicking. I returned and had the worker look at it with me, he looked at the front and I looked at the back. He stated he could not figure out what was wrong, but at this point in time I was trying to return to work as it had taken well over my lunch break. He stated to "just check it from time to time to make sure neither are out"When I parked at work, I looked at the front turn signal. It was out. I had to take it separately to another shop to have the turn signal replaced as at this point in time I was done dealing with Gerber.Days later I received an invoice from the VW dealership indicating that when it was serviced on 3/14 the front headlight "required immediate attention".My battery was never replaced, and the service invoice indicated this would need to be replaced soon.The only good thing I have to say about Gerber currently is that my car is at least now fixed and back to me. They caused an unnecessary amount of strife, and while I understand some parts are not hard to come by, my biggest concern is with the multitude of inconsistencies.I feel like not a single portion of the car was collaborated or consistent. The entire experience was extremely disappointing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had an issue with my Mustang Mach E. They did a great job fixing the damage. They worked seamlessly with my insurance company. I definitely found the collision shop I will use in the future.

Just picked up my car from Dusty's and I'm so happy! I was rear-ended a couple of weeks ago and my insurance company works with Dusty's so that's where my car went. From the second my car arrived at the shop everyone was so helpful. They kept me updated consistently with repairs, changes, and my pick up date. In addition they offered friendly advice on insurance claims and were very patient with all of my questions and concerns! I've never experienced any kind of car accident, and couldn't be happier with the repair work done and the ease of everything. In addition, they called me back with answers to my questions even though they were about to close; and they stayed late today because I arrived late after turning in my rental car! It's nice to work with such kind people who understand how scary and complicated car issues can be. My car is shiny and clean (inside as well which is amazing!) and it looks just like it did when I first purchased it. Thanks for being so amazing, and a special thanks to Corey for everything!

Awesome customer service from start to finish! The ladies at the front desk are awesome! I worked with Gary, he did an outstanding job on my repair! My car shines like it s brand new and they even vacuumed and wiped down the inside! A great surprise! I have received so many compliments on the shine! As an added bonus, my car was ready a full day ahead of schedule! They made the entire experience a pleasant one! Thank you! I will (and have already) recommend this place to everyone!!!!

I have had a good experience with Dusty's. The appraisal was quick and informative. Duty's worked with me to schedule the repair days (all 5 of them). They arranged for a rental car at a reasonable rate (m insurance did not have a rental car provision). The work was completed on time and so far it appears to have been done in a highly professional manner. Only time will tell if the tailgate on the Equinox lasts longer than does the rest of the car. I want to make a further compliment with regard to the front office staff. Lisa was always helpful, a pleasure to speak to on the phone, ready with update information, and always willing to search out any questions that I had.

Brought my car in for an estimate to have some scratches and dings removed along the doors and trunk. I had a good conversation about my options with the tech and was given an estimate almost immediately. The estimate was high and it mostly centered around dismantling the doors and prep works. I accepted the estimate and few days later dropped the car off. Two weeks later, it was ready. My initial impression was that they did a great job. However, that quickly changed as one by one my doors stopped working. First, the passenger front and then the rear. It was very frustrating. I took my car to the dealership and described the situation. They looked at the doors and discovered that when the doors were reassembled (by Dusty s) they did not put them together properly causing them to stop working. Repairs to each door to replace the missing parts was expensive. Thanks Dusty s!

This shop is wonderful! We brought our SUV to them after I was in an accident in October. They made the process very easy from start to finish. We had our vehicle back within 1 week and it looked perfect. 2 months later, I m back in because my tire is losing air and I m afraid it s related to the accident. They get me in same day and pull out a little nail. How silly I feel! But I don t trust anyone else! They are amazing and you should absolutely go here :) thank you so much Gerber :)

The team at Gerber did an excellent job! Body work and paint look great. Cory kept me informed every step of the way. Did have some other issues come up with the repair, but they took care of it like professionals and supplied me with a rental car. Great job Gerber!!

Wonderful experience! The mechanician was very professional, his inspection was quite accurate and detailed. He checked my car carefully and found the smallest dents on the chassis. There was a huge dent on my front door and the door needed to be replaced. I told him that I was moving, so he expedited the front door shipment and the repairs. I got updates from the Dusty's every morning. I sent my car to them on Monday and got it back on Friday. The car looked like a new one when I got it back. I'm satisfied with their service. Absolutely 5 stars.

They did a great job on the body work I needed. That's where my good experiences with this place ends. The guy I dealt with through the process seemed like he could not be less happy to be doing his job. When I dropped of my car I accidentally forgot my house keys in the car. It took them 17 minutes to bring me my keys while my 1 1/2 year old soon screamed for a nap. Any parents of a toddler out there know this is a special kind of hell. It made those 17 minutes feel like more than an hour. They told me it would take 6 days, but in fact it ended up taking 7. Lastly, when I got the car back my dirty hubcap was still off my car and sitting in my backseat. There's not much work put into customer service here. Although, the two women who work the front desk are incredibly helpful and friendly. That's where the good customer service begins and I ends.

Excellent service! Our Town & Country was pretty dented after a backup accident and was deemed as a total loss from our insurance. While debating our options, we contacted Gerber for an estimate and Kevin was quick to give us one. He found a replacement door within hours without any confirmation that Gerber was going to repair the car. We chose to repair the car. As soon as the car reached Gerber, Kevin quickly gave us an actual estimate. Originally, we were supposed to get our car back on July 17th but the technicians were able to finish it on the 9th! When we went to get our car, we found that the sliding door wasn t latching properly and Corey stayed after hours to ask a technician about the problem. They made sure we were satisfied with the repairs of the car. Corey answered every question we had. Jerry and Marilyn were also very helpful with all the paperwork and updates. They also assisted us with returning our loaner car from Enterprise! Overall, amazing service and helpful people. Thank you!

Absolute horrible experience. Went here to have my hood replaced on my Chevrolet Impala that was damaged in a collision. After my initial appointment I felt confident that my car would be fixed properly boy was I wrong. After the job was complete I came to pick it up after work one night and immediately noticed that the hood was about 2 inches off and away from the car very surprised that this was over looked. Came the next day to discuss my concerns I was told well it just needs some adjusting after about an hour my car is ready again this time the hood is still off center and about an inch from my car at this point I was told that basically it was the best they could do. $1400 dollars are you kidding me! The next day I go to replace my windshield wiper fluid and guess what my hood latch doesn't work, mind you it worked perfectly after the collision. 3rd trip I'm told well you will need a new hood latch and the reason your hood doesn't fit right is because I caused significant structural damage to my car. I called BS so I took it to Champion Chevrolet in Howell who does amazing body work by the way I just don't live in the area anymore. They told me that the hood was aftermarket and the wrong size and there was no structural damage to my car not to mention said the hood replacement shouldn't have run more than $900 out the door. I called Dusty's back and had a 4th appointment only to be told it was my fault because I wanted to save money which again was BS so I asked if tested the parts they used before they put them on the cars and they said NO. Offered no remedy to my situation. Told I'd be contacted by management and never was. This place is trash stay away!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Gerber. They were professional, easy to work, and super efficient. They worked seamlessly with Tesla, my insurance company, and the car rental agency and finished the work earlier than promised. This will be my first and last time ever coming here for service. My car was in an accident and Dusty s was assigned to do the repairs. Upon receiving my car back, I noticed several things wrong with the repairs. It was definitely a rush job. For example, my entire bumper was set to be replaced. I can literally see gaps where my bumper is attached to my car, and can press against the bumper to close these gaps. I am BEYOND dissatisfied with the work that was done to my vehicle. My expectations are that if something is scheduled to be fully replaced, it should look as new or at least decent condition. I brought some other things to the managers attention and he brushed my concerns off, making me feel like because they already had my money and returned my car their job was done. Every single time I called the shop, the receptionist would hang up on me after putting me on hold for a manager. This happened on several different phone calls. I had higher expectations from this company than what I received. I live in another state and have been stuck in Michigan almost a month from the time the repairs started to now. Do not go here, find a shop that does sufficient work and demonstrates better customer service.

I was referred to this location. The staff was friendly and professional. Corey was very kind. He put my mind at ease by doing an awesome job on my paint/repairs. One of the services that I paid for was overlooked, but he was so gracious enough go the extra route to repair my light and one other issue that had arose after my initial repairs were done. Cassandra from the front desk really saved my perception of this place and made the visit worth while! Other than that the service was lacking. I came to get my Model 3 front end repainted and wheel curb rash fixed. The wheels look amazing! But the tires were 35psi when they should have been 42psi and it's winter... And i noticed the sensor they replaced still doesn't look OEM it looks repaired so not perfect at all... But i do understand that they fought with the insurance company to make me whole again so that does count for something. Thank you Gerber.

So happy with the wonderful and timely job Dusty's did on my vehicle. The repairs are perfect, and the car is cleaner than it's been in a while! I worked with Craig, who was pleasant, informative and a pleasure to work with. I will always take my vehicles to Dusty's and will highly recommend to anyone who needs body work. Thank you Dusty's for making this unfortunate incident so painless.

My vehicle was in an accident and I had it towed there. Gerber web site said the provide rental or courtesy cars. When this was mentioned to them about getting a courtesy car. They said they would check with corporate but they didn't this so. This is false advertising. They have since removed from site. I still have a snapshot of it. I had my vehicle towed to a different shop. I now have a courtesy car. Watch you if you can't trust them with their web site, how can you trust them with your vehicle.
