I brought my car in to get my sunroof drains checked after the dealership said it would be hundreds of dollars in labor and take several days. Gerber on Main St. unclogged the drains in 30 minutes and saved me a ton of money! I am so impressed with their great customer service (I went to the wrong location first and they were also incredibly helpful), and the service for my car. They gave me a recommendation where I can get my car detailed to get the steins on the headliner removed. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and kind. Thank you for taking care of me and my car. I will definitely be back!

It is so rare right now to get prompt, kind, good-hearted help and that's what is found in David Maier of Gerber Collision. He was able to immediately give advice on a dent on my car made by a student. So grateful for his suggestion and reassurance of how best to address it in the most inexpensive way. Thank you!!

They were extremely kind and fixed a minor dent in my car that was causing me major issues for free. They took the time to explain and show me exactly what they were doing and why. I would take my car back to them for any issues.

Absolutely awesome experience at Gerber Collision on Main Street. David and Will got the job done within minutes and were kind enough to not charge me for buffing out a minor scratch. As a girl who is often scared of getting scammed at auto shops, I was majorly appreciative of their honesty and kindness. Very customer focused.. they went above and beyond to help me navigate the insurance claim to fix my truck, provided regular updates once the process started, and did a good job on the repairs. Hopefully the other gerber locations are taking notes!

I ve used this company a few times and I can always trust they ll give an honest appraisal and do good work. They repaired my minivan s sliding door last year inexpensively and fixed the side mirror on my Civic. Cameron gave me fair appraisals and options moving forward. I have visited the shop today with (what I thought) was a broken handle on the driver's side of my 2013 Ford Edge. Before I received a quote mechanic came out (my apologies I don t remember his name) and looked at it. Guess what? The handle was not broken, a screw needed to be replaced and he did it for free. My handle was fixed in 5 minutes. If they told me that I need a new handle (which I would have believed) it would of cost me upwards of $300. I appreciate honest, local business. I took my leased mini-van in for repair before turn in. They did an excellent and quick job. They gave me an accurate estimate. The price was very reasonable. This is one of the many jobs that Whitney's has done for me and I am completely satisfied with their service and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Cameron was so helpful when I visited Gerber for some scratches on my car. He gave me an honest estimate and some helpful advice. He also cleaned up the area of the damage and made it look much better, which I really appreciated. Erik and Trent at Gerber on Main Street in Ann Arbor have taken great care of my car and me. Unfortunately, my car was hit in a parking lot, and a few months later I hit a deer doing significant damage to the front end. It was a complicated fix with all of the lights, 360 degree cameras, and sensors.They were able to work with insurance and made the paperwork very little for me. They even got me in and out before the timeframe they promised. All of the work was perfect. The paint match, the lines between the panels were all just right, as if nothing ever happened. Great service on my fender bender damage and some nasty paint scratches. Ethan was great to work with, everyone was very friendly/understanding and it helped that they accepted an out of state personal check, since my credit limit was too low. The work itself was flawless and they somehow managed to fix a brake problem I had been having - I'm not sure if they replaced the fluid or the pads entirely, but that saved me another trip!

Gerber downtown provided the best experience, way above expectation. They had great communication the whole time, wonderful personalities, finished the car earlier than expected AND cleaned the inside of my car! They took a very stressful car accident and made me feel so much better and I walked away extremely happy. They have definitely made a customer for life.

I had a terrible time dealing with this repair shop. They kept feeding wrong information to me through out the proicess. Kept my vehicle at their shop for 25days and did nothing on it. First they informed me that they have ordered the parts and it would arrive in two weeks and thats when I can drop the vehicle. After I dropped the vehicle, they said they would do a full tear down of the vehicle to understand the ecat damages and create an estimate. They didn't submit the estimate for two weeks. I kept checking with them everyday and they kept lying that they are doing the full tear down. Later the insurance declared the vehicle a total loss. I pushed for it to be repaired and then geber tells me that they had not done the full tear down. The whole process took 25 days. Mean-while they refused to hand my car over to me and tild me that the insurance required the vehicle to be with them till the process is over. Never trust Cameron and Erik, the gerber reps tell blatant lieas and someone who doesn't understand the process wil fall for their lies.

I had them work on my car back in the fall of 2014 because I had hit a deer. When I went to pick up my car at first glance it looked ok. The one thing I noticed was that there was condensation in the new headlight housings. I didn't think it should be there but they assured me that it was normal and would go away. So I dropped the issue. After I signed the insurance checks over to them they explained to me that the drivers seat had moved all the way forward by itself and would not move back. How was I supposed to drive the car out of the lot? Why did they wait to tell me this? I didn't inspect the interior of the car since there was nothing wrong with it from the collision and I didn't think to look. When I told them they needed to fix it they said "sorry, there's nothing we can do for you". Would not even provide me with a wrench or something to work on it myself. So after about 45 minutes on the phone with the insurance company (who was of no help) I thought I was going to have to call the police on them (I doubt that would have done any good). They offered to drive the car home for me. Since I didn't want to deal with the situation anymore, I said ok and then I fixed the seat myself when I got home.After calling the dealer about the headlights I was told that there shouldn't be any condensation in them. So I went back to Whitney's and told them to replace the headlights (my headlights were $1600 each). They did replace the headlights which was good. In addition, after closer inspection after the fact, I found that the bumper they put on had paint drips on it, and that they had put a big 4 inch long slash in the leather on my steering wheel. Suffice to say I will never go back here.

took about a week for my insurance to approve the repair and for them to get the car back to me. it looks great, they even cleaned out the inside of my car :D.alan was very friendly and helpful, it was my first time dealing with an insurance claim/getting in an accident/bringing it in for repair and he was very helpful. this is definitely a noob friendly place.i look forward to crashing my car again. wait no, but if i did, i would gladly be a returning customer.

I got quotes from 3 different collision shops and these guys were the cheapest and they offer a loaner car.They repaired my driver side door panel and front passenger side body paneling. It took a while to get a loaner car, but they give them out for free if you can wait for one. The repair work took about a week to get done, and when I got it back the car looked brand new. A few days later, someone scratched the door they just replaced. I took it back to the shop to see what can be done to fix it and Mike took the car on the spot, buffed out the scratch, washed the car, and gave it back to me for free. Great customer service!

I cannot say enough about this location on 521 S Main St, Ann Arbor, MI. After having a fender bender in Glenn Arbor, my car was towed to Traverse City (my insurance company recommended for guaranteeing work). After a couple of months, I finally was told it was done. Well...the car broke down 2 hrs later and again the next day. Insurance company had it towed to Whitney's, since it wasn't driveable. Within a few hours, Ethan Morlock communicated with me...and continued to do so for the next few weeks. Ethan went above board with his inspection, took over a hundred photos, and would not let my car leave the shop until it was in perfect running condition. Not only perfect running condition, but also repaired the poor paint job that was done in Grand Rapids (yes, the car was towed there for this). Even though I was without my car for 3 months... Whitney's repaired the very poor and dangerous repairs done in Traverse City. I AM SO THANKFUL TO WHITNEY'S AND ETHAN MORLOCK FOR THEIR 5-STAR SERVICE!!

They did a fantastic job cleaning up some scratches on my car. They got in in and out in a timely fashion, and the guys in the shop are super friendly. My dealership recommended this collision place, and I will definitely refer my friends should they need collision repair!

Honest and friendly service. They have bought up every reputable collision and glass place for miles...but that not be a bad thing! I found them to be very forthright and honest. They offered several alternatives and options to fix out SUV. I wish them good luck!!!

I've gone to Whitney's before, many years ago. I was happy with the service and work then. Just brought my car in for a minor repair. They did it in the parking lot in 5 minutes and didn't charge me a thing. Thank you, Whitney's!

Got body work done for my car here after an accident. They did an excellent job at listening to my concerns, made effort to do the best they can and coordinated with the insurance company of the person at fault. I'm impressed with the outcome.

As a poor college student, I have never had to have my car repaired before today. The driver's side automatic window mechanism broke and the window disappeared into the body of the door. Whitney's ordered the part that afternoon and had it repaired by lunch the next day! I was pretty happy with the price, and they will be getting my future business. Alan Hukkala (the guy I talked to and worked with to get it fixed) is excellent!

The front bumper fell off my 2003 Envoy, and I just needed it put back on. These fabulous people not only re-attached the bumper, but painted over several scrapes & gouges. I'm absolutely delighted - fixed (and washed!) in only 3 hours!!

I stopped by Gerber on Main to ask about a squeaky sideview mirror that had been annoying us for a long time. Erik (the GM) invited me to sit inside and 5 minutes later gave me back the keys -- all fixed and no charge! (I still left a few donuts as a Thank You.)Thank you so much.
