The company vehicle started making a noise and we were concerned it was a wheel or brakes.We drove immediately to the Firestone store, this was on a Friday afternoon. They couldn't guarantee they could look at it that day but would look at it the next morning. by Saturday afternoon we had our vehicle back without any noises. I was extremely happy. the were speedy, efficient, friendly, polite and considerate.

12/10 would recommend.I've been here twice with my car, and it's like going to the doctor's it's never good when you have to go to the mechanic. They explain everything to me like I'm a child (which I don't understand cars at all so this is helpful and appreciated) and when I still don't understand they explain it again until I do.Also when I get my car back every time it is a great experience and he's all healthy again!Love this place, it's my go to.

Brought the car in for an alignment and when we left the car pulled extremely to the right. We took the car back and they told us they had done everything right and had test driven the car. There was no way anyone drove that car without realizing how bad it drove. It took them another four hours to get the car done correctly and aligned. I will say that the technician who worked on it the second time put in a lot of effort to make sure it was done correctly, but also admitted it should never have been sent out the first time.

Your staff is really helpful. They went out of their way to try to find a matching tires for my damaged one. They also did not charge for the wire they were unable to repair. I appreciate having your store in downtown Ann Arbor

The staff was extremely kind. It was my first time at a car shop and David and Weston were very kind and patient on the phone as they guided me. David is super funny and I love how the atmosphere here is so welcoming.

Setting up an appointment was easy. At first, my alignment wasn't perfect, so I was able to bring my vehicle right back in, to make further corrections. I appreciated the time that the team took to make it right!

I wish I could give it five stars like every other firestone I have been to. Firestone has always been my favorite place as they are a national brand and technicians are always well-trained.Brought my vehicle in recently for an oil and cabin air filter change which costs about $140. This is kind of the price I am expecting so everything fine. Service also went well. However, after the routine maintenance, they recommended wheel alignment which is $100 once/$200 lifetime. Guess what I did my wheel alignment 3 months ago and am pretty sure car is in good condition. You only need wheel alignment every 2-3 years. So basically they were just trying to make some more money out of me by recommending something that I don't need.Feel free to use their service if you know what you need and how much it would cost. However, I would advise with caution that any additional service they recommended might not be needed.

David is fantastic and such a nice guy to interact with. They're very prompt in servicing and accommodating when I had a last minute time change. Will be returning to this Firestone as long as I'm in Ann Arbor!

I recently had to have work done at another mechanic, who recommended additional work--I declined and took the car the my Bridgestone family, who said NO WAY! I am so glad to have mechanics I can TRUST! BRAVO and BRAVA to all the staff at my downtown A2 Bridgestone HONEST shop.

I have brought all of my vehicles here for the past 16 years. I have tried other firestones and even other repair shops....none compare to the service and upfront honesty you can get from the customer service crew Dave, David, and Sammy. Can't even begin to thank the long time mechanics and front of house crew that have stayed there through all the massive amounts of work they have to take on, customers that aren't the easiest to deal with and the ever changing construction that changes their route to work seasonally.Thank you downtown A2 Firestone team!

Today was a rough day. My wife was taking my daughters to Mott Children's Hospital just a couple miles away, and as she pulled into her parking spot, the TPMS light came on, and she was quickly losing air pressure in one of the tires. Upon inspection, she noted a large carriage bolt right in the middle of the treads of one of the tires. She called me, and I went to the hospital parking structure to swap it with the spare tire, as she took my daughters into the hospital. Upon arriving, I quickly tried to locate the spare tire, but alas, my search came up empty. This vehicle, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, was not equipped with a spare tire. My only choice was to take the tire somewhere, hopefully get it plugged, and put it back on the van. I was initially going to go to a Goodyear nearby, but after I called them, they asked if I could just bring the tire to them in the morning. This would not suffice. My wife was in the hospital with my daughters, and would need the vehicle in a couple hours to drive home. This is the only vehicle we own that can fit both of the girls, and my son, safely. As I was heading towards Goodyear, I remembered the Firestone which was on the way. I decided to stop there to see if they could help get me out of the tight spot I was in. I walked in, was greeted happily by Weston, and I explained my situation to him. He was very compassionate and understanding of my situation. We quickly went out to the van tire, which was in my trunk. Upon inspection by Weston, it was determined the bolt which had pierced my wife's tire was too big to patch (about 3/4" width). We went into the office, and he found the tire would suit my needs. Weston, who appeared to be one of only a couple employees working at the time, removed my damaged tire, mounted a new one, balanced it, and I was ready to go. He even cashed out another customer who had shown up in the meantime. I was in and out of Firestone in 30 minutes- with a brand new tire that I could mount on my van, and my family could make it safely home. I told him as I left, dealing with him was the least stressful part of the situation (there's more to it, but I'll spare the details), and I was very grateful for his quick, professional, and compassionate handling of the situation. I hope he reads this review, because he deserves to know what he did for me today, although maybe routine, was something I will never forget. Thank you, Weston, for taking care of my needs, and doing it so swiftly. I will be referring anyone who asks my advice, to go to Firestone on Huron Street in Ann Arbor, MI, because of the exemplary service I received from Weston. Description of why I gave a star:1. Recommended all 4 tire changed, although they are in good condition. In fact, 2 of them were replaced just 3-4 months before.2. Recommended changing cabinet air filter. I had changed it by myself before I visited the firestore. Why would you recommend a service without even checking if they were even required?3. Oil change price is extremely expensive. You can change it at half the price at a dealership and may be a third if you can go to a small repair shop.

Mechanics are great. Front of house service could use some work. David was very responsive to my complaint, and made sure to take care of my needs. Westin is very knowledgeable and friendly.Would advise to be specific about what work you re scheduling, and verify upon dropoff that mechanics only perform the service(s) requested.

Good: needed oil change and they did it right away without a scheduled meeting.Bad:1. I paid for the oil change more than I would pay in the authorized dealership.2. Told me that my battery was bad and needed replacement (voltage was within the norm, capacity was lower). They did not even suggest repairing the battery, just buy new one FROM THEM. I said I would bring my batter (a better one since the one they carry is average), they said no - I have to buy FROM THEM.3. had a nail at the flat side of the tire, they told me that it is not reparable (bulls..) and I need to buy it FROM THEM.4. they told me my tires should be replaced because they are worn out (5-7mm left) - bulls.. the limits are 2-3mm so the tires are fine. Of course they wanted to sell me the 4 tires.5. They said my breaks were not reparable and, guess what.., I have to buy FROM THEM, despite the fact that a) the breaks were actually reparable (the disks could be machined); b) I brought the brand new original unpacked brake pads. They refused to take mine although I showed them the receipt from the original dealership.Luckily, I had a mechanic with 30 years experience on the phone who was telling me all these things I noted above. These people are EXTREMELY DISHONEST and will try to rip you off by buying their 2nd class "generic replacement" parts.I will NEVER go again to any Firestone!Services: Tires, Oil change

The lone employee here (Weston?) at closing time helped us out by mounting a tire when ours was flat. He waited for us to get there and by some miracle had the tire that I needed. He serviced my car and we were on our way to an important appointment. Excellent job, thank you very much!

Staff is extremely honest and very helpful I recently started taking my car there because I work down the street and it is convenient for me to drop off in the morning before work and pick up afterwards.Had an oil change done on both cars and an alignment on one .Requested a wheel balance they called me recommending to wait until I get tires replaced because it will not take care of the shaking due to worn out tires. I appreciate their honesty .Highly recommend this place .Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

I brought a rideshare michivan for service here in Dec 2022 as they are an approved company. My husband had brought it here a few months previous, but they claimed they didn't have any record of that visit. Took maybe 20-30 min for them to figure out the right account. At the end a rep gave me a copy of the invoice, saying it had everything I needed for the next time. He was so confident of this. Fast forward to Feb 2023, I called to make another appointment. I should have known things would go poorly when I had to volunteer my info, as in "Don't you need my name and car information?" "Uh, yeah, sure." I arrived at the appointment, again the guy had trouble finding me, then says it was for 8am. I wondered if he's looking at the way past Dec appointment. I gave him (Westin? Weston?) the invoice from December, supposedly with all of the info he needs to find the account. Not so. For several long minutes he searched through their computer system and made a bunch of calls. Then he made some calls not related to the Enterprise account, which I then found out that he didn't even have the right filter available, could I come back the next day. This all took around half an hour. I should mention that when I made this appointment I pleaded with them to please verify the account and vehicle so that they would have the correct oil and filter available.Update: I came back the next day. Filter was still not in store but they managed to do the service in less than their estimated time, so either they obtained a filter or used a substitute. In any case, this is the last time I'll be coming here.Service: Oil change

Needed a battery . Talked to David. Said he would get me in the next day. Got in about 8am and he remembered me. Could not find place to park. He went out and helped me find a place to park and in the lot he wrote my phone # on his hand. I thought no way he can remember. Sure enough a couple hours later he called and said was done. Only downside a little expensive--over 300 for diehard platinum. Great service so said I need purge control valve for my other car and desk manager I spoke with said have to evaluate --over 100 dollars. Really, I evaluated in 10 minutes. Oh well, take by my work on Detroit. Overall good service I would return for simple things like batteries or tires.

Uses the city bike lane as their own personal delivery spot, they also drive cars against traffic in it. Show complete disregard for the community that keeps them in business. Complete disregard for the most vulnerable tells you a lot about the kind of business they run.

Clean waiting room. Friendly helpful staff.While there, a lady ran out of gas in the middle of rush hour traffic and all of the workers went to assist and pushed her car into their parking lot. It's sad because other drivers made it very difficult and dangerous for the workers.An officer did arrive so that was helpful.I will be taking my vehicle back there.

Was in a really tight pinch and needed new tires on before driving a long distance with my newborn. And these guys didn't hesitate to help on such short notice. Forever gonna be grateful for them, and if I ever find myself in the area I'd definitely stop by for more work!

Bait and switch? I have gone here three years running to have my winter tires put on and have always been happy with the service, so I recommended my friend get his winter tires here. But when we arrived they only had a record of tires costing $400 more than what was agreed to by phone. The ones my friend had agreed to hadn t been ordered. The guy there said the person he talked to must have dropped the ball and at best could offer him $10 off the more expensive ones, or he d order the ones originally agreed to and we would have to reschedule. It was just disappointing and seemed very shady. Would not recommend them again.
