My car experienced difficulty starting for a while, and eventually, it completely ceased to start. I suspected that the issue might be related to the battery. However, upon inspecting the battery, I found that all the bolts and screws were securely fastened. In my time of need, a friend assisted me in jump-starting the car and recommended Anthony at Colonial BP for repair services. I entrusted my car to them, and the following day, I received it back. To my surprise, the bill was surprisingly affordable. A visit to the dealership for the same issue would have easily cost me at least $100. Ever since the repair, my car has not encountered any starting problems. I am extremely satisfied with the excellent quality and reasonable pricing of their repair service.

We needed gas at 11pm Friday night after leaving Detroit so we stopped here but it's NOT open 24 hours! The entire place was closed and all lights were off. I don't know when they are open but if you're looking for a place to get fuel in the middle of the night I wouldn't count on this place being open.

I stopped by this BP station on my way home. They were actually a blessing as I took a wrong exit and also needed fuel. They were very close to the highway and it is very easy to get to their fuel pumps. I did not go inside, but their parking lot was clean and free from trash. Prices were appropriate for how much gas was at the time. You made it a nice little pit stop on my journey!

the google maps listing shows 24 hrs because the gas station is 24 but doesn t specify when the garage closesI called about 7 hoping there might still be a mechanic around who might take a two minute look at something for me. I was told the mechanics will be back on MONDAY!!!!this is tuesday!!!!

Had a nail in my front passenger tire. Came in at 6:45am, thinking I would have to wait for hours, but in 15 mins they took care of it.It wasn't just job itself, but the outstanding customer service that made it memorable. The entire staff was kind, knowledgeable, and put me at ease. I only wish other repair shops operated like these guys!

I had an oil change & tire rotation here and received great service. They were able to schedule me at short notice so that I could get my car serviced before a trip out of town. The prices were very reasonable and I appreciated the ride to & from the repair shop. I will definitely be back.

Anthony does a superb job of helping us keep our cars in tip top running condition. Most recently he prevented a chain atore of taking advantage of us in a major way. If you want honest and fair treatment, take the time to go see Anthony. Dave Dalton

When my car broke down I was relieved I was right near a service station, but worried because I just spent $7 for baking soda across the street so I was preparing to be ripped off. BUT!! Colonial BP explained all of my options and came up with a cost effective way to get me back on the road. They were great throughout the process and TRUSTWORTHY. I work in the area and I am sure to be back-even just to thank them for being AWESOME!

Anthony was just great. Even with a holiday weekend ahead, he got my car in and took care of my 2004 Honda's brake caliper issues ahead of schedule.I knew the cost of my parts ahead of time so I knew that the cost of the job was fair. He gave me a heads up about a future repair, but didn't pressure me. Also, the shop itself is one of the coolest I've ever seen. So convenient to have the BP attendant to take my keys after hours.

I used to like this gas station. It's conveniently located and was a reliable option. Unfortunately in recent years their prices have gone up faster than other stations, to the point where it's one of the most expensive stations in Ann Arbor. Don't pay attention to the canned response from BP, it means nothing. Oil prices are high for everyone, everywhere. Other gas stations are forced to increase their prices but not as much as this one.

Have been taking cars to Anthony at Colonial BP for 30 years on and off. Recent experience was beyond expectations. Air conditioner failed on a 90 degree day and we had a road trip in the offing. Anthony and team went the extra mile - getting us squeezed in for diagnostics and got a part from out of town all on the same day! HOORAY! Honest, quality, affordable car service. Highly recommend.

Anthony is honest, direct, and helpful. I really valued his expertise in diagnosing and treating my car's oil issue. Anthony helped with this problem, patiently and consistently, for weeks until we had a solution figured out. During that time, I watched some of his customers check in with him or ask him questions, on a pretty regular basis; people just like talking to him. He always treated everyone kindly, professionally, and helpfully. It became clear that I am not the only person who is psyched to have found Anthony!

I have been getting my car serviced here for many years. They are excellent mechanics and very honest. They discuss all options before they fix things, and let me know what is absolutely necessary to fix and why. I have lots of confidence in their work.I have had them evaluate used cars that I was interested in buying, and they saved me twice from buying a lemon.While I left the car one time, the owner stopped what he was doing to give me a ride home.Definitely a place I would recommend.

I can't emphasize enough what a relief it is to have this honest, trustworthy gas station/car repair within walking distance of my home. Anthony and the counter staff and the mechanics are amazing. The new BP app which gives cents off each gallon depending on your monthly spending is wonderful.

Anthony and his team are the best! I have been going there for over 20 years. They are honest and good at what they do! What more is there to say! Lots! They work hard to help out when it s an emergency. Anthony has always given the best advice about my cars and understood where I was coming from on a car that wasn t going to be around for long. He has never tried to sell me on anything like some other places do. Being a women it happens. Anthony is someone I trust completely! That says a lot these days! I would recommend them highly!

Excellent gas station with superb automotive services. Anthony the service manager and his team are extremely knowledgeable, honest, and efficient and have serviced our family vehicles for many years. If you need any sort of service on your vehicle, out of all auto service stations in the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area, this is definitely the location to choose to have any work done!

Have been taking my cars there for service for over 10 years. I've had tuneups, brakes, tires, A/C, fuel problems and they have always done a thorough and fair job. Anthony, the service manager, has gone out of his way to provide great service. Once, I brought in my van to have the brakes redone. When he called (they always call before doing any work) he told me the brakes were still good so they would just clean and adjust them. That saved me quite a bit.Recently, I called to ask about what it would cost to check out a used vehicle I was thinking of purchasing. Anthony stayed on the phone longer than he needed to provide me advice on some makes and models to consider and other resources to use to find a decent used car.I'm not sure why other have had difficulty but I've always found the people working there to be very nice and helpful.

I had a rattle on my Lexus CT. I wanted to make sure it was save before my parents in-law took for a trip. They were super busy, but Tony said to come in and he would do his best. Tony fit me in and took care of the rattle - only charged me $20 and was very kind about the whole thing. This would have cost me $500 at the dealership. Thanks!

I'm writing to offer my sincere thanks and appreciation for the help I received from Anthony Nieuwstadt, the Service Manager, when I rolled into Colonial BP the other day with a flat tire and had only 20 minutes to get to a very important client appointment. Despite having several projects underway at the time Anthony was willing to see if the tire issue could be quickly resolved so as to help me out of a tight spot and yet not significantly delay the other projects. His appreciation for my situation enabled me to make the appointment a mere seven minutes late. Now, that is what I call customer service. Thanks Anthony!

Best service that I have received at any service garage, but more expensive for parts. I do not mind paying the extra for better service. No wait time, the manager easily explains car talk, service with a smile. One time the manager even fixed my truck by giving me some carb cleaner for free just by walking out to the fuel pump as I was checking the low idle. What a champ!

We've been going to Colonial Amoco-turned-BP for more than 15 years for service on our cars. They are reliable, dependable, the price is right and we've never had further problems with any of our cars after being serviced there. Owner/Paul runs a great operation and Anthony, the Manager, is very customer-focused. In brief they know what they are doing. We've lived in many cities and have used many different automotive service stations. Colonial BP in Ann Arbor is the best.

Great Service!!! Was on freeway with an engine overheating situation in a 2012 Buick - called Onstar who patched through to a dealer - No help there. Pulled over to this BP SERVICE station, and a real Mechanic diagnosed the situation - hosed down the radiator and gave sufficient advice to get us safely down the road. Highly recommend them!!!

I had a great and pleasant experience with the mechanics at Colonial BP. They are quick in fixing the issues at a reasonable cost, mananged to accommodate me despite their busy schedule and upfront about the work needed. I would definitely recommend them for repairs!

So the regular gas is kind of high but they let you use their air pump for free which has been a godsend to me in the past and big props to Tim I don t know him personally but he s always got a smile and he s always very helpful and if your having a bad day that dude will bring you right out of it

Great location, and great service! It's a little highest than some of the gas stations down on Washtenaw Ave, but it's to be expected and it's convenient. The clerk's are always very friendly and helpful!

We came over to this gas station Monday 12/04/21 for a trip to Ann Arbor. Now I m back home and my car isn t working properly, there s water in my gas tank from their fuel. I haven t gotten gas since this place either. I wouldn t come back here again.
